Green light is good for hyperpigmentation - blue for reducing vulgaris bacteria

I used to tan and it really did help acne, but now that I’m in my 30s all the sun spots are coming out which sucks. I would still stick with the sun over LED masks

I hate to see this from someone that seems like they should be credible. If you're going to say something like this, you should site a study or two that indicates that a spectrum of light can actually do anything health related. It seems obvious that a sunburn dries out skin which could help acne but an LED? Let me see a well done study. And not just the BS stuff that shows homeopathy is better than placebo.

Light spectrum therapy does exist. Not sure about red light, but I've gotten regular UVB light therapy at my hospital for my eczema. Works really well

@@rohansingh7698 Thanks for the reply. I know that some of the light therapy is complete and utter Bullshit. Especially when they make fantastical claims like healing cancer or other horrific claims made by companies that make supplements and sell treatments or machines used in fake treatments. Thanks for adding your perspective. I assume you're in the UK then? I'm unaware of any US hospitals doing this.

UVB and UVA doesn’t just kill your skin cells but also bacteria and it also generate free radicals which is damaging to cells and microorganisms. Not sure about the infrared radiation tho.

Don't some of the wavelengths used in led masks cause cancer with longerm use? Yeah... I'd rather keep my acne..

Still too expensive and besides the good ones are more like $5,000.
