- In this video, I take a deep dive into the Demon Slayer Trilogy and discuss why it might not be as perfect as many fans think. While the anime and films have received overwhelming praise, there are some significant issues lurking beneath the surface that might change how you view the series. From pacing problems to character development concerns, we explore what works and what doesn't in the trilogy.

I thought about this issue a lot, since there are 60+ Manga chapters yet to be adapted. My theory would be that maybe it's a Trilogy exclusively on the Infinity Castle Arc, effectively cutting out the Sunrise Countdown Arc. Otherwise, each Movie would be like 2,5 - 3hr
@rayenbouguerra2479 yea, and if we look at the Mugen Train movie, it was almost 2 hours long, and it was 13 chapters. The infinity castle and sunrise countdown arcs combined are 66 chapters, so each movie would need to be 3 hours long.
i doubt ufotable would release the movies so quickly. it takes a lot of time and work to create even one, so i feel like they'd release each movie yearly
@CCCNull yea, I said the same thing, but I don't think fans will like a yearly release for a series like Demon Slayer, but that's just me.
Didn't they put Muzan's backstory at the beginning of Hashira Training... or end of Swordsmith Village?
@trying-to-learn yea, it was at the end of the swordsmith arc. I didn't want to spoil anything in the video, but the "backstory" I'm referring to is his fight with the sun hashira. What we saw in the swordsmith arc was like 85% of his backstory. The remaining 15% explain why he was afraid of the sun hashira.
Did you actually read the manga? Infinity castle really isn’t that long. It’s only 4 fights. And the first one with shinobo vs doma wasn’t even long… the last arc is longer then infinity arc.
And they probably already started making the movies at the same time they were making the show. They’re sitting on them and editing still. It’s really not that much of a stretch
The only fight that will probably get its own movie. Will be kokoshibo Vs the other hashira. That’s the only fight that was really drawn out
@mvnik437 Yes, I did read the Manga, and the sunrise countdown arc is shorter than the infinity castle arc. There are 5 fights, not 4 the upper one, two three four, and six. And each of them have a backstory except the upper 4.
@mvnik437 The reason why I said there is too much content to fit into 3 movies is because the Mugen train arc has 13 chapters, and that movie was close to 2 hours long. The infinity castle arc has 44 chapters, and the sunrise arc has 22 . If we go by the first movie standards, each movie needs to be more than 2 hours to complete the series. Because the 3 movies are supposed to wrap up series.
Too much hype for nothing
This anime will be nothing but a forgotten reminder once finished
