Once a male ex friend (i disowned him) literally argue that all girls like strong men, I told him im not into strong man and he said he "*i* did research about women" (exact word). I envy him to have that much AUDACITY to tell me my preference isnt relevant because it dont match his "research" 😐

This sh*tshow wouldn't be happening if these guys just read omegaverse fanfiction like the rest of us and understood that fiction SHOULD NOT be dragged into reality. Smh
The whole "alpha" thing is based on an old wolf experiment where a guy locked up several wolves from different packs to see how they react and then assign them roles based on how agressive they are. In the wild there are 2 leader wolves (aka alphas), male and female wolf, they're the breeding pair, then there's their youngest pups and the lowest position in the pack have their eldest pups (aka betas, they help their parents raise the youngest pups). There is no "male wolf agressive and dominant, female wolf submissive", there are lots of examples where the male wolf is calm and submissive and the female is the dominant and agressive one. Also another thing, wolves don't really like agressive wolves, can't behave? you get kicked out. So the whole "being an alpha is natural" is bullshit.
best part is that the guy who came up with the theory DISPROVED IT HIMSELF! not even wolves follow this, yet these idiots think it still applies to humans 😩
@@gazingatsaturn that guy has also been vocal about how his first theory was wrong. @@annabeinglazy5580 NO LITERALLY. i feel so bad for the poor guy, he must be exhausted trying to argue against mis- and disinformation over a silly little animal theory
People tend to love comparing humans to other animals, without considering the drastically different life conditions and social skills required in human society, compared to a wolf pack. A case could be made for applying alpha/beta/omega to human social groups - but it would be much more loosely, you could have different status in different social circles, and obviously, a human alpha would have a much different behaviour than a wolf alpha. In more natural/dangerous surroundings, a more agressive 'alpha' may be preferred, as agression is often used to intimidate, and avoid actual violence to develop. To be constantly agressive for no reason is a sign of insecurity and mental instability, which could create more conflict, and in nature put the group in danger. In humans, the alpha would often be the one with the highest social skills, level of attractiveness, and most 'followers' of both genders. He is more of a leader, not so much a dictator. The betas can be high, middle and low. The high betas are often the ones closest to the alpha, both in relationship, and similar 'alpha traits', just at a slightly lower level. The middle betas are the 'average' in the same traits, and have a less close relationship to the 'alpha' than the higher betas. And the low betas are a bit below average in the traits/relationships. The omega (usually one or two people), are the lowest rank. They are sometimes 'put down' a little, but not always. And keep in mind, an omega in one group, can be well above the alpha in another group; because everything is relative to the other people in the group, not a fixed level. Of course, most people will often have a tendency to be a certain 'level' in most areas of life, but it is much more fluid than people think. You are not nessicarily a looser because you are an omega, and you don't have to stay the omega. But the people who claim to be 'alphas' never are, lol. :)
I’ve gotten myself on anti-alpha male TikTok, and it’s wonderful. So many intelligent and funny creators, many of which are women. Highly recommend, but only if you’re okay with losing all your braincells every time you open the app.

@Emre Yeşildağ But they're still having a negative and misogynistic influence on young, impressionable and insecure boys who take their advise as legit.
The guy who was talking about not looking at girls, his reasoning is ridiculous but I totally support it. I don't want any of these dudes looking at me 😅
I once went on a date with a guy that called himself an alpha and when I asked him he told me about what makes him alpha and I said that those are qualities that I would describe myself as, like being independent and stuff. And then he tried to explain to me that there can not be alpha women because that would make them male... the logic was on another level.
Apparently, He has no clue that some animals, such as elephants, are matriarchal - the females run the show. They also don't know that the alhpa, beta, sigma crap they spew doesn't exist in nature. That was a theory was instantly debunk in field studies. They are basically calling themselves alphabet letters. 😂

It's funny cuz the whole "alpha" concept was created by watching caged wolves. Men and women both talk about being alpha, when it's legitimately never been an actual thing for humans for one, but also people that call themselves alpha *never* realize that the alpha behavior only happens in captivity...
@Nonaya Bidness yeah and god aren't people in this video still deny or not know the history. I feel so bad for the scientist rn, imagine your mistake is still ignored as fact.
i was about to comment this!! the alpha theory has long been debunked in animals, although most people (e.g. in dog or horse training) still believe it's a thing when it's not. even more ridiculous for a man to try so hard to be an 'alpha' lmao.
As a dude, these type of guys are just using that non existent status/hierarchy to excuse their immature, irresponsible and unrespectable behavior. It’s like their Astrology or something. Smh

My ex was a self proclaimed "alpha male". He was also a drunk violent abuser and I went through the most terrifying nights of my life with him for years. Months later I'm still dealing with ptsd and in therapy. 0/10 would not recommend.
Same girl, mine ended up raping me. When he first talked about the alpha mentality I was like “ok, sure. A little Weird, but whatever.” And i WISH i had known what he was referring to right away, because if I had known what a selfsentered, condescending and narcissistic mindset this is I would have seriously examined his demeaning words and actions (towards both me and others) a lot sooner. The alpha mentality is so self serving: they straight up are justifying their tendency to look down on other people inherent value as human beings, because they truly believe they, as the alphas, ARE superior to them. I am so saddened to hear how much this has hurt you. I wish you everything good in the world, and that you will heal and one day be able to freely love. I know that I have become very sceptical and somewhat cynical towards men (and people in general) after my own experiences, so my heart is with you on your healing journey.
I have been there love. It took me two years of therapy to get right in my head. I still have ptsd not sure that will ever go away. Do remember love, that you are worthy. You don't deserve that abuse, you are beautiful and capable and you can do everything without him. I know how hard the mental and emotional toll it takes. I am proud of you. Walking away is the hardest thing to do. Trust the healing process. You are worth every silver lining, every rainbow and every ounce of love. When you set boundaries that you won't allow anyone to cross, you will be completely in control of it not happening ever again. Let the emotions happen. You will go through the stages of grief. You got this hun and you will come out the other side as a warrior, a survivor not a victim. He can't hurt you now. Don't let him to keep control of any piece of you. When you start feeling like the survivor and not the victim anymore, he will not have a hold on you anywhere. You will have complete control of your life. It takes time beautiful but, you have already done the hardest part. ❤❤️🩹❤
In my opinion Alpha males are deep down teenagers who couldn't show their feelings, femine side or hobbies because old generations told us that this is no how men behave. I love to see how gen z is more open and there are more people who discuss their traumas and internal struggles. Maybe we will reach a point in which people who identify themselves as men will notice that being true to yourself is the best way to exist
I do love how much more open gen z is about soo many things. And I really do hope this generation of men can realize how much more freedom they actually have than this. These twerps talk like pretending to be an alpha male gives you freedom, but how can squeezing yourself into an even more restrictive set of behaviors than regular masculinity be freedom? Freedom is accepting the fact that you can behave and do what brings you joy and comfort, whatever that is, as long as it doesn't harm anyone. Accepting how you actually want to live and doing it is the real "chad move" as they say. But even admitting they want true comfort is something a lot of men deny themselves in the persute of conformity to the masculine cooky cutter stereotype
Not sure it's just a generational thing. I've met some young gen z men who were raised in super conservative households who believe in this toxic male masculinity. But yes gen z in general is slowly making it ok for men to be more open with their feelings
The woman comparing alphas to sharks was absolutely correct, the other animals know the shark is around because it’s a predator…The same way women know when an ‘alpha’ guy is around because he’s dangerous and unpredictable.
I think these “alpha men” accounts simply take advantage of insecure young men or just men in general who might feel lonely and rejected, often not receiving any attention from women. It’s only natural that one desires to feel loved and when they don’t get that, insecurities arise. They turn to these accounts for answers and often leave with misogynistic ideas. That’s my take on it.
A lot of young men are vulnerable and susceptible because of their insecurities. The current climate between men and women in America is in bad shape, and I wish we could talk to each other and figure each other out. At this point, people just get put into echo chambers and never get different perspectives, only biased and self serving povs. People just need to listen to each other
@@midnitemomo some people don't want to though because then they'd have to admit to their issues and realise there are other realities and lived experiences beside their own.

The reason mans is filming in the car is because IF he has a girl and she heard him talking that trash she'd leave him and her paycheck is the only hope he has of moving out of his mom's house.
the amount of decent women sticking around for losers is astounding, we have been told we need men since forever, and we're inadequate if we are single at a certain age.

When social change is afoot, traditionalists fight back to keep the lives they always knew. Very common, and not wrong to try to view the pros and cons of both the traditional and the revolutionary views. Both have reasons to exist, but one will be the obvious victor, and society should incorporate only the best of the other ideology while sloughing off the bad. Change is always stressful, and large change can be scary, so in-depth and respectful discussion is needed to help grease the wheels.

I’ve noticed that insecure people often think confidence is knowing you’re the best person in the room, and they’ll often resort to putting others down to convince themselves of this. But true confidence is knowing you may not be the “best” person in the room, and being okay with that. I see someone as confident when they are enthusiastic about building others up, and showcasing the talents/gifts of others without feeling threatened.
Amen to that! I completely agree. Confidence is definitely a person that knows they aren't the best but, they always have ways to help, willing to offer a hand, boost someone else up because, they are already ok with who they are faults and all. A confident person doesn't need to show off confidence, it is simply them accepting themselves and knowing what they can bring to the table.
As an Italian girl, I apologize very much for the two guys doing mansplanning with the Italian flag behind. Unfortunately there is still the stereotype of the "man who must never ask" in communities with Italian roots, but it is old stuff. In Italy the new generation does not behave like this, stop finding justifications such as "eh but Italians are like that". Enough of this machismo.
I live in italy, and i had classmates (1 year ago) making "zitta donna cucina e lava" (and not only my classmates) jokes every day,the new generation it's not that innocent, there's still young people being misogynistic, italy is literally an old and closed minded country, including the politicians
Of course it’s not just Italian guys, it’s guys around the world. The biggest people in the manosphere are fresh and fit, Kevin sammuels and they are black. Trust me people know it’s not just Italians. This happens in every culture and if they don’t think so and are just basing it off of these comments need to do more research.
I'm also Italian but I actually disagree with you. Misogigy is still very much a thing in younger generations too, especially in the South. The unfortunate reality is that Italy still is one of the most closed minded countries of Europe and things don't seem to be changing that much.
I've something to add to this "imposing date" stuff. I understand your point of view, but here's the thing : they want to make us feel obligated to do so. I once was in a restaurant and there was a groupe of guys at a table. They were taking space, talking really loudly, so I had already heard questionnable stuffs... One of them suddenly said that his Tinder date was trying to postpone the date (i suppose either because she didn't want it this night, or she wasn't feeling good, or she didn't want it at all), and his friends were like "You're not being confident enough, don't ask questions, just tell her you're gonna come take her at a time" and I was beyond disgust... It's a thing to take someone to a date at a place we both love, it's something else to simply not let them any choice.
Idk if that guy changed or anything, but yeears ago I watched a video of his and he said something along the lines of "to be an alpha male you have to be polite and considerate. Being selfish is a beta thing". He seemed like a cool guy and he actually gave good advice (I think... only watched 2 videos)
@@Lissa2355 Never watch any of his videos tbh but the thing is that there are people giving advices on the internet and there are people flirting in the real life... These alpha males just need to learn the lesson of “treat other like you want to be treated” They always keep talking about taking the initiative. How about taking initiative by treating people in a good manner (like they want to be treated themselves) and then reaping the benefits of surrounding themselves with people that improve their life? I know, would be too complicated.
Every time I see these "alpha male" videos, all I hear is layers of mommy issues. Just like daddy issues, mommy issues have no place in a relationship. Women are requiring emotional equality and maturity. We can support ourselves and I wonder if that's intimidating to these guys. If being a decent human being and treating us right is too upsetting or too difficult, then don't waste our time. Simple as that.
There are many men who feel threatened by a self sufficient woman, which stems from insecurity. But on the other hand there are plenty of men who appreciate an independent woman who doesn't *need* a man, but *wants* one to share her life with. Essentially, if a man wants a woman to constantly bow down to his wants and needs and doesn't want to see her side of things at all then it's a bad sign. Both parties should be willing to hear out the other and compromise.
I once dated a man like that. He was 28 at that time, lazy, unreliable, and still living with his mom. I was doing great at my job and he was unemployed. I do understand it was hard getting a job but what really got me was he acted like he was a fkin prize and that he was better than me. He acted like one of those “alpha” males which looking back now just makes me laugh at how childish that manbaby was. Never again. 😂
Oh, it definitely is. Women no longer need men to survive like we had to in the past, we have the choice to remain single and alone and make "picky" (what they call picky we call reasonable lmao) choices when it comes to a partner. Men didn't have to add anything to the relationship previously apart from finances, they didn't have to satisfy or care or respect or look after their wives. But that's no longer the case, and so much of their masculinity is so embedded that to be "masculine" is to have a completely submissive wife that will put up with anything they dish out. Now things have changed. Women want an emotionally intelligent, caring husband that takes a bigger role in the raising of the children and maintaining the household (both were previously seen as female only roles, men in the past weren't considered important to raising children hence why the courts favour women as a parent much more. Men built it this way). And men have been taught to repress their emotions (apart from anger) and not really care for anyone but themselves, as that's seen as weakness. So now we end up with men like this. That's my theory anyway.
@@lily5952 I don't care if a woman is independent or not, but no man likes a masculine woman, like a typical "I'm very independent, I don't need any men type"!!!
@@X.O_remi I guess it's a very personal thing, so this is just my view on it. To me female refers to the female of a species, so it makes it feel a bit dehumanising, kind of relating us to being animals in a way. Whereas woman to me doesn't imply that. It just feels off, why would you choose "female" instead of "woman" if the latter, by definition, is the human term? - again this is just my opinion!! 😊
@@X.O_remi hi there! here’s my opinion, too. females is a biological term while women is a gender term. and the actual definition of female is literally about how they have ovaries and can make babies. so, saying female kind of makes women feel like their only purpose is s_x and babies, which it’s not! for example, im biologically female and have nO interest in wanting babies, so am i no longer “female”? also, it’s to include trans women. since trans people (mtf) are not biologically “female”, it’s kind of degrading to them. like they feel like their identity is not important or irrelevant. so, “women” is just better :P
I am so completely turned off by this whole mentality. If a man approached me like this... I'd literally never speak to him. - I would literally RUN the other way. Not attractive at all. And the whole phone call thing 'Just BE ready!' Ugh... Nope, I'd change my number and lock my doors. Seriously **ck that. My personal preference in men, is kind, gentle, poetic. Artistic. Right?! If a man texted me that way I'd drop him like a hot potato. The, "This is what we are doing. Doesn'y matter what you want to do. Be ready at "x" time." So off-putting.
I’ve never seen female commentary channels really discuss toxic portrayal of men in the media and I was so impressed that you guys highlighted this subject! Totally an issue that needs to be brought up more. Love how you and your sister vibe together ❤
I barely see male commentary channels discussing toxic portrayals of women in the media. Actually a lot of them play into this too, so tbh I could care less whether or not women talk about the media’s portrayals of men when they don’t show the same consideration for women.
Are you serious? These are a dime a dozen. They all cite the same ideological language, like their experts in anything while being in their 20's. All while not being able to pronounce simple words, like colloquial.
I like the conclusion. I do believe many of these men fall into these communities because they genuinely want to improve. Nothing bad with wanting to take initiative, gain confidence, stop making yourself smaller... as long as you don't step on others to do so. That's were the line is drawn between being a natural leader (which I think is what they want to achieve) and an opressor. You won't be beloved if you don't take others in consideration. Leadership doesn't come from ordering people around while treating them like lesser beings, but gaining people's trust and making them want to be with you and do stuff together, create synergy. It's not them carrying you, it's you carrying them, it's exhausting and many people aren't fit for it, and you know what it's okay!
Absolutely spot on, it IS exhausting being a true leader, because you are SUPPORTING people, guiding, encouraging, calling them in and empowering them. You really have to do the self-work to have any kind of capacity to lead others...
A real wolf pack leader isn't aggressive, they go out of their way to care for the pack, so if you don't have a fanny pack full of snacks and ibuprofen for your friends every time you go out then I don't want to talk to you
That's the crazy thing to me about these self proclaimed "alpha males", the definition of an alpha is to care and protect but these me do the entire opposite of that. In fact, they want to be catered to, when often what theyre referencing is meant to be doing the exact opposite; catering to the people they're meant to protect. And alpha male wolves adore their female mates, they'll spoil and do everything they can for them and their pack. It's just skewed thinking because these men are so insecure, completely forgetting that we are HUMAN beings, highly social animals that survived because we looked after and cared for each other.
@@_anon_does_art_ lol yup, and you gotta be there for your kids but all these "alpha male" podcast dudes talk about how they'll leave their wife if she isn't attractive to them anymore. Regardless of how otll effect the kids.
The science of alpha wolves was retracted and disproven by the original author. A wolf pack is a family, parents kids and sometimes aunts and uncles. In captivity wolves behave differently.
As a cis dude I just find it funny how guys can get so close to the problems we are currently facing in a sort of masculine identity crisis with all of those we used to set as examples being actually problematic and quite useless. It can feel weird when you notice all those people say are examples or heroes in this world turn out to just be,,,disappointed or dangerous people. With this in mind, it is natural to try to scrape, scatter and try to find some sort of new understanding about masculinity but to just miss the mark this badly...
Social expectations is one of the factors why most men are pressuring themselves to this title, I mean we are all different even if we live in a society, most men don't want to be seen as weaker to their peers so they want this title. Besides there are more issues in this world that need to be addressed and develop more than this social construct ideal image of being a man.
this trend, of alpha male, is just one more way to normalize misogyny and make it look "cool" , i thought that trend was left in the 50's. i hope never meet with one of those weirdos, the cringe it's real! The male gaze thing though. The last time I tried to explain why I liked a particular male character because of his complexity, and the first thing this dude threw back at me was "but this is about the muscles, right?" ...what?
I think the best part about all of this is that at the Height of the Alpha movement a decade ago, the guy who came up with the ENTIRE CONCEPT in wolves and the guy who came up with the SAME CONCEPT in Chimpanzees BOTH came out and debunked THEIR OWN WORK. There is ZERO scientific basis for Alpha/Beta/Gamma dynamics in the wild. All of these are family groups and the "alphas" are the PARENTS!!!! And Chimpanzees, as violent and brutal as they can be between troupes and towards humans, are lead through Democracy and caring and kind leadership. Unless the "alpha" is found hoarding food or mistreating women: whereby he is summarily beaten to death by the rest of the troupe. FACTS!
Isn't it kinda weird that most of these self-proclaimed "dating coaches" are usually single and/or living with their parents? Like, they claim to be all successful with women... where's the other side of that? Where are the success stories?
What these people don't understand is that we dont live in some type of survival of the fittest situation. Woman can provide for themselves and most men are middle class and healthy so we can go with what we want and find men in many different genres attractive. We aren't vying for 1 male's attention in some pack of animals. These male's are weirdos. Yuck. This is giving me 'ewwww' vibes.
It's survival of the best adapted to the environment. Nobody likes an idiot, so maybe don't be an idiot XD the patriarchy is what is keeping these poor people who identify as male, wrapped up in this idea of 'ideal' men and women.
They all make my bones itch. We are living in times where survival is becoming easier and we have many conveniences for us to live the lives we want and be who we are naturally. If you are gonna have any habits, hobbies, method of presentation, etc, it shouldnt be because of anything else except that you just want to because you just like it.
"Males will literally watch one Marvel movie and then start a podcast and then make the podcast about how much they hate women" - Salem Tovar Girl! I spit out my ramen. That is the best quote ever 🤣
They really did what they hate about feminist, hating the opposite gender for opposing their wrongdoings, f*cking hypocrites. They criticized women for voicing their opinions and rights while they are not evaluating their own failures and harmful actions. All genders have flaws and wrongdoings, we must work how to solve those problems rather than hating and mocking each other to feel superior.
@@Lemoncakelover678 Yeah but I doubt it will happen soon, some men and women are busy making themselves superior than helping each other to solve the problems of this society ( e.g. the abusive alpha males and toxic feminist women). I hope people can be awaken to this ridiculous social construct hierarchy of a nightmare that we've set upon ourselves.

Any man who has to claim that he is alpha is definitely not alpha. Period. I like how you cover so many different kinds of topics I did the most hyena laugh when you mispronounced "sigma" 😂😂😂.
The ironic thing on this whole "alpha" thing is that it was based on flawed conclusions from behavioral studies in wolves--that were in captivity. Wolves simply don't behave that way in the wild. So much for being alpha.
I love this conversation so much! The false, hyper-masculine representation of men in media is ridiculous and makes young boys and men doubt everything about themselves. Thanks for sharing!!!

I always wondered why men have such a meltdown each time pete davidson is dating some amazing woman. Now I know - other men told them that only 6'2'' very muscular men are atractive and now they have pikachu face when it turns out that each woman has different preferences.
My (male) partner's response to the alpha male thing was: "Luckily there are less women in Germany than men so they don't have to deal with these dudes"
That definition of "alpha male" sounds like something straight out of a teen romance novel drafted on Wattpad Edit: or the entrance into some cheesy teen movie where stereotypes and cliques are the entire plotline

How amazing would it be if all of these "alpha male" dudes actually stopped looking at anyone they gender as a woman? Hell yes! Do not even perceive me!
That's so sad. This whole toxic masculinity (idk, I have dyslexia) is so sad to watch. People compete to be an alpha male or sigma male, trying to be the best and all of that. It's like they don't have a personality, so they push themselves into this community to impress women.
then they say that women hate each other while they literally drag other men who isn't in their standard of what apparently a man is should be. Bringing down a man base on their "status" is one thing
The guy who was saying “don’t look at women” as if that will make us want to be looked at. It really isn’t that deep. Here’s a look into a woman’s thought process: When guys don’t stare at me: I don’t think about it, I’m doing my thing When I get some polite glances: ok, glances are normal, we all do it When someone stares unflinchingly like some sort of bird of prey until I finally turn and look him dead in the eyes at which point he quickly looks at the ground: yes, overt your gaze mwahahah Everyone’s an alpha till you give them an exasperated “WHAT?” Women aren’t thinking about you that much. Just do you and focus on yourself (but like, genuinely, not as some roundabout way to trick women by making them wish for your attention)
And then there is me who thinks they are challenging me...🥴. Idk why but if a man stares at me i take it as a challenge that he prolly got a Problem with me?
@@HarjitKaur-xn5cw Omg same. Honestly I am the worst at like making a really rude face. I hate when a man stares. It feels sexual all the way, like I’ll take you rt now. So men don’t get away with that no more with me, you not bout to keep watching me like that, so I’m staring back and we going keep looking at each other until you stop with only takes a few secs. I’ll be damn you stare at my ass non stop
And them same ones be the ones up in our dm's talking about "I'm h0rny ngl". Men only worried about impressing other men, so why don't they just date men while they at it.
The funniest part about this new found obsession of being alpha within certain male communities is that dominance hierarchy is based off of an old study of wolves done ages ago that has been proven wrong over and over again.

Lmao. Irony is an Alpha male in nature (wolves) are the most empathetic, nurturing wolves of the pack, aka what these toxic men would call a "simp". Scientists have even said there isn't such thing as an "Alpha wolf" how we think of it. I actually love the anti-alpha male side of tiktok. It's too funny. Putting these incels out of their jobs 🤣
True true!!! The decent and courteous men, who treat women like normal individual humans being, were usually called 'SIMP' by those toxic men. What a society we live in.....
That only applies to their pack though. In fact it's common for packs to attack males looking to mate with females in their pack, even when that female is in heat, and inviting.
The idea of Alpha Wolves came from a problematic study, where someone collected a group of random, unrelated wolves, and studied them in captivity. Understandably, they struggled with the social group, and fought for dominance. Wolves in the wild, live mainly in family packs, where the "alpha" wolves are actually just the parents. Hierarchies exist in nature, but not in wolves. Primates can also live in hierarchal groups (silverback gorillas being a good example), but people seem to correlate alpha with wolves. I wonder if these guys would still identify as "alpha", if it had the correlation of "I'm an alpha (capuchin monkey)", rather than "I'm an alpha (wolf)".
To me, males that "trying" to be very masculine and tough straight up irks me out. Maybe, this is why i somewhat more attracted to males that are considered "feminine" or "not manly enough to begin with" by a lot of people. Edit: watchout everyone, somebody's feelings is hurting down there in the comment section 💀

In my opinion Alpha males are deep down teenagers who couldn't show their feelings, femine side or hobbies because old generations told us that this is no how men behave. I love to see how gen z is more open and there are more people who discuss their traumas and internal struggles. Maybe we will reach a point in which people who identify themselves as men will notice that being true to yourself is the best way to exist
amen
I do love how much more open gen z is about soo many things. And I really do hope this generation of men can realize how much more freedom they actually have than this. These twerps talk like pretending to be an alpha male gives you freedom, but how can squeezing yourself into an even more restrictive set of behaviors than regular masculinity be freedom? Freedom is accepting the fact that you can behave and do what brings you joy and comfort, whatever that is, as long as it doesn't harm anyone. Accepting how you actually want to live and doing it is the real "chad move" as they say. But even admitting they want true comfort is something a lot of men deny themselves in the persute of conformity to the masculine cooky cutter stereotype
yeah exactly, kind of like nate from euphoria

That’s my take on it.
I think your right. A lot of guys struggle with relationships so when influencers come around with all the answers, they cling to their ideals
Or maybe they were misogynistic to begin with and only got more misogynistic due to these accounts.
A lot of young men are vulnerable and susceptible because of their insecurities. The current climate between men and women in America is in bad shape, and I wish we could talk to each other and figure each other out.
111th liker
Amen to that! I completely agree. Confidence is definitely a person that knows they aren't the best but, they always have ways to help, willing to offer a hand, boost someone else up because, they are already ok with who they are faults and all. A confident person doesn't need to show off confidence, it is simply them accepting themselves and knowing what they can bring to the table.
yeah confidence isnt thinking your the best in the room , its not comparing yourself at all!
Love your definition of confidence. I feel the same way!
Enough of this machismo.
i didnt know that was a thing
I live in italy, and i had classmates (1 year ago) making "zitta donna cucina e lava" (and not only my classmates) jokes every day,the new generation it's not that innocent, there's still young people being misogynistic, italy is literally an old and closed minded country, including the politicians

I am also italian and after a careful consideration of this kind of behaviour i cannot abstain myself from leaving a porcoddio right here and now
I've something to add to this "imposing date" stuff.

Finally I found this kind of comment ha ha xD
These alpha males just need to learn the lesson of “treat other like you want to be treated”
They always keep talking about taking the initiative.
Well said sis 👏❤
I love how you're using the word "males" throughout the video! Personally I hate how so many men refer to women as females. So let's reverse that!
Omg yesssss
I mean they're calling themselves alpha _males_ so they're kinda asking for it.
I am a girl and I'm curious, why don't you like being called a female I wanna know.🙂
@@X.O_remi I guess it's a very personal thing, so this is just my view on it.
They're gonna have an aneurysm when they realize alphas and betas don't actually exist in nature
They know lol, I don't think they want to admit it though
I am so completely turned off by this whole mentality. If a man approached me like this... I'd literally never speak to him. - I would literally RUN the other way. Not attractive at all. And the whole phone call thing 'Just BE ready!' Ugh... Nope, I'd change my number and lock my doors. Seriously **ck that.
My personal preference in men, is kind, gentle, poetic. Artistic. These 'alpha' men would never last two seconds with me.
Right?! If a man texted me that way I'd drop him like a hot potato. The, "This is what we are doing. Doesn'y matter what you want to do. Be ready at "x" time." So off-putting.

My thoughts too lol
A real wolf pack leader isn't aggressive, they go out of their way to care for the pack, so if you don't have a fanny pack full of snacks and ibuprofen for your friends every time you go out then I don't want to talk to you
True alpha male mentality.
They're also the literal father of the pack so. If you're gonna be an alpha you gotta have dilf energy

I don’t mean to it’s just like- Bro why are you staring at me, how rude🤦♀️😭😂
I hate when a man stares. It feels sexual all the way, like I’ll take you rt now. So men don’t get away with that no more with me, you not bout to keep watching me like that, so I’m staring back and we going keep looking at each other until you stop with only takes a few secs. I’ll be damn you stare at my ass non stop
Hello friend! I see autocorrect has struck your post, it's supposed to be Avert instead of Overt. 💖
"You go to the gym everyday and still nobody wants you."
Because you are not supposed to go to the gym everyday. You are supposed to have rest days to let your muscles recover! I bet that guy's muscles are extremely tight and mushy at the same time.
Lmao so true!! When I was heavy into working out before school and life happened, I had to learn the hard way to have rest days😬
Or maybe he likes to pose and chat at the gym.
Gym advice in an alpha male cringe video. W
I loved having your sister in this video! She's so funny and seems like a really cool person, your relationship with each other is wonderful to see and there's easy bantering and jokes. More would be nice:)
Good luck finding boys can't fight huh
@@erenjaeger1738 good luck being eternally stuck on your own fragile masculinity huh
@@absolutelynotellen Imagine me saying that to you. "Good luck being enernally stuck on your own fragile feminine". You definitely call me an "Incel" or "Sexist". Sound very stupid.
@@erenjaeger1738 lmao somebody's feelings are hurting
@@erenjaeger1738 You‘re obviously aware of what women think of you! And you still chose to be an idiot about it, how nice!
Also: we don‘t need no man who thinks the only value he can bring is fighting, as if we couldn‘t do that ourselves and as if that was even slightly connected to masculinity. But you won‘t listen, will you? Your world view builds your whole identity so you have no choice, because otherwise your belief system will crash lol
all this alpha dominance bs actually sounds like enabling jerk behaviour. gross
Can you please do one on machismo in the Latin/Hispanic community ?
omg yess pls !
The entire thing is so stupid as the study of alphas has been disproven ☠️
And the fact that they admitted what they originally thought were the 'alphas' are actually the moms.
They already know they're just delusional and lonely.
16:53 "if you're a secure person, You don't care how people perceive you; you're not gonna change how you speak, you're not gonna change how you dress"
EXACTLYYYYYY!!! Self love always comes first 💯💖🔥 note to selves: opinions of others don't define you
I read a tweet once that said real alphas take care of their pack so unless u always got some snacks in ur purse for everyone, shut up. You guys are hella funny, loved watching this ❤ Thanks for the content
This!!!
Omg I’ve seen that tweet!
