It doesn't require you to play in coop for it to work, it says it works only for YOU in coop, like any other food. Also unlike genshit, you can eat multiple TYPES of food to get damage buff, survival buff and special buff accordingly. (Don't use stamina food, it will wipe your echo seeking buff, since they are both "special" food type, correct me if I'm wrong on this one)
Btw it’s an multiplicative % not additive. Echo drop rate doesn’t go from 20% to 70% it goes from 20% to 30%. Still not bad but not as op as you’d think.
@Steve-tk6xvbase drop is actually 27% due to the 4 drop pity system, so it’s around 40% drop rate which is boosted to plus 50% after missing one echo which is great
Well apparently that's a common issue with these games that seems to make ppl extremely salty when you mention it, I guess all you can do is farm, I hope you don't burn yourself out bro because idk any way around it
bruh i admit its a problem (i dont have echo exp) but on the other hand, you are not supposed to midmax every single character echoes because if you're done, Suddenly its "there's not enough content" i admit it could be better but take your time, and im sure kuro would listen unlike genshin with 5 mins dailies you dont enjoy wuthering waves have atleast an hour of meaningful progress each day
Well why stop there, drop your UL lvl so the enemies dead fast and fly through the route. Just remember to burn your waveplate prior doing that. You can increase your UL lvl again after 12 hours.
@@linobinn oh, I see, I have just searched it up and other people are mentioning this as well, thanks for clarifying! It's unfortunate, but I'll take any additional chance to get an echo anyways.:D
You're telling me that you aren't going to cook something that costs about 10-15k credits, for an optimized 30 min run, which is typically enough to clear out almost an entire element, with 30% echo drop odds instead of 20%? Even with the 4-pity system, elite spawns are even more limited than Shell Credits at that price. This food only isn't worth it if you have infinite friend worlds to hop along to, and the time to farm multiple worlds.
Tried it lmao and it doesn't make much difference, apparantly it doesn't reduce the pity by 50% but only drop rate so sometimes even 3 kills won't get you elite drop
It also does not cost that much in shell credits. This is one of the times I would actually cook it regardless. The elite spawns are far more valuable than the shell credits required to make this dish.
@@AznvasionsII 18k shell credit for 30 minutes of slight better drop rate is definitely not worth it for most players, it's like paying 18k shell credits for extra 10 mins max, yeah after union level 50-60+ it might be viable
@Steve-tk6xv you are saying this as if there are infinite elite spawns. Most people do not clean out their full world everyday, and will only farm their specific main team elements. I would absolutely take getting 1.5x echoes per day if I have limited time and spawns. You have to remember the average player does not spend 2-3 hours a day cleaning out all elite elements in their world, and then hopping to a friends world to kill theirs, and then another world etc. most people farm 1-2 element elites on their world, and done and log off to do something else.

Uhh what? You can also eat offensive buff food, defensive buff food and special buff food to get separate buffs in genshin too though?

I’ve been stockpiling cooking ingredients so I can get the character special dishes that are slightly better than the regular ones. Great videos!
Me, who doesn't do co-op: I don't have such weaknesses!
umm guys where to check how many times left until the food buff expired?
I got the receipt and though its going to change the everything but it didn't change anything

Holy thank you for posting this
is it possible to use both the purple and the golden foods together to get a higher percentage?
No, u can only have one special type food buff, it will just overwrite it.
@@sinkpissersupreme thanks
Thank you, didn't know that kind of food exist 😆
Thanks man, u life saver❤

Wonderful, i can see myself getting booted by randoms already, thanks kuro...
It works solo too, just clarifying that it only buffs yourself in co-op
I'm the only person i have seen so far who's game won't start after the patch!
No cooking for me :(
