@@bNaturalGaming (on PC) Inferno Rider will always do its regular attack chain if you press the Echo Skill button and then mash the normal attack button. This also helps with swap cancelling the final attack in its chain since you don't have to move your left finger over from the Echo Skill button to the swap buttons and the load is instead distributed over both hands. However, as a fighting game player, I must say that learning self-control and fixing your muscle memory to not mash buttons in certain scenarios is invaluable to making your gameplay more fluid in general.
Of all the enemies in the game, my camera absolutely HATES the Bell-Borne. Whether lock-on is activated or not, my camera will always spin me in every other which way and even somehow get me stuck inside the body. It's pain 😭

I don't know if you still care to know or if you already figured it out, but for the options at 3:15 : Moving camera correction levels out your camera horizontally when you move - for example if you are staring down towards the ground or up towards the sky and then start moving, you'll notice your camera pulls itself back down or up so that it's level with the ground. It also makes your camera turn slightly in the direction you are running. Combat camera correction pulls your camera towards the enemy if the enemy you're attacking is off-screen or close to being off-screen. Assisted aiming is just aim-assist for when you're using the hoverdroid shooter. Strangely, there is no aim assist when aiming with gun characters.
Yeah auto target should prioritize enemies that your camera is facing and the one closest to you if they are in a line. It's so annoying with ranged characters like Encore she'll just start attacking enemies in the same direction but that are at the edge of her range. Another bug I've noticed with the targeting is if you're holding W and attacking then you turn your camera to face an enemy, lets say 90º to your right and keep holding W, it will NOT change targets. You have to either keep facing the target and press the directional button for the second (like D in this case) or stop your combo. I hate this so much.
@@elfireii328 Hmm... Never thought about that. Then it could work like that only while you're holding W. So if you let go of movement keys and turn your camera it won't change target, but as long as you're holding W it works like I said.
@@bNaturalGaming i experienced this the most in the newest event where you have to score around 6k points, for some reason the camera turned away to where no target was an i could not turn the camera with my mouse behind me again where the enemies were, this was frustrating af, dunno why that happens but it happened 2 or 3 times after a wave started...
Tbh all they have to do is copy paste PGR camera. In PGR, camera lock locks your target and follows the locked enemies, but it DOES NOT lock you away from moving the camera. On top of this, they need to optimize the camera so it accounts for the terrain. The second most annoying thing behind not being able to move your camera when it's locked, is when your camera faces the ground due to the slope of the terrain and your distanced away from the enemy. I think they also need to add a feature that increases the scope at which the characters automatically directs their attacks to the target(I dodge a little to far from my target, and now I'm attacking away from them). WuWa is combat focused, so once they're done dealing with technical stuffs and bugs, camera problems should be the priority. And maybe the music too lol.
Oh wow that PGR camera sounds like it'd be really nice And YES about the music - HSR's music is done so well and helps capture you into the environment. I know their sound design team can cook if given the opportunity (look at changli's sound design) so finger's crossed for the future!
It would be far far better if wuwa properly followed the soulsborne camera style, ie, let you move mouse/right controller joystick (or mobile camera controls too) left or right to lock onto the enemies to the left or right. And also properly track and keep enemies that you locked onto centered on the screen

Yep. This is the first thing I tried when I wanted to switch lock. The devs are too busy creating booba, not enough focus on a smooth gameplay experience.
may be better to make it like Sekiro where you just move your mouse sideway to switch target to the respective sides, since the camera is locked anyway.

This will absolutely make the game's locking a million times better and completely make up for any autotargeting issues since you as the player can very easily and intuitively correct the lock-on to the desired target
What annoys me is when I use Jiyans ult on Mobile the freaking camera angles constantly switching and I can't properly see enimies this also affect my targetting.
@botcchidotcchi exactly that! It's annoying af! I was only able to clear the 1st floor of the electro tower in mobile with 3 doritos. 2nd floor mob became stronger and I only got 1. 3rd floor oh boy! I was trying to kill the healer bt.ch first the lock camera is so sht man that I can't rotate camera to see what's behind me and who's attacking to dodge properly. Cuz of that keep dying to the other elite mob and ranged ones keeps hammering with there pokes time to time. Most annoying part is mobs constantly going towards the edge of the map which makes it near impossible to clear those floor efficiently with calcharo even tho I have all the buff from yinlin-_-.

Coming from Black Desert, WuWa at this point is not the best experience in the camera and targeting aspect. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the true action combat camera and an option to completly switch-off the 'targeting'/'aim-assist' in V.1.1 ;D
Funny story, cammera issues and QOL improvements were the first thing people complained in PGR, and after those got fixed and improved, oh boy. Just let them cook, Kuro games wont let us down.

They could allow changing the camera direction with the attack button like some fps games have on phone. In pc, players can press attack and swing the mouse at the same time giving them more control, but on phone, we have to release the atk button or the joystick area to either move the cam or use lock on. Which is pretty much the main difference between surviving and dying.

Fist time in a gaming mode a camera gives me headaches had to made too many changes and try different things ,but still it’s horrible ,I don’t know why the beta testers didn’t address this. Imo for now don’t lock if you re not against a boss
you can completely remove camera shake by getting a db file editor or manually doin by making this value 0: "CameraShakeStrength":0 in gamequalitysetting
coming from a controller player, I don't have too many issues with targetting but what I'd like to see is, no camera auto correction towards what you're softlocked on (or at least, make it stop auto correcting if you pan the camera around) and for hardlock to prioritize the enemy I'm holding the movement stick towards (like how it already prioritizes your softlock target) I'd also appreciate being able to pan the camera around while hardlocked to some extent, but for it to have a much more rigid re-centering on the hardlocked enemy. futhermore, I'd appreciate some method of having NO TARGET when attacking so aiming stuff like jianxin/yangyang ults for grouping enemies is easier to pull off, or aoe abilities like yinlin's ult to make it easier to hit the enemies you intend to, as well as just aiming cleave abilities like danjin's chaoscleave easier to hit multiple targets with.
Yeah I think that would be so nice in an open world action combat game like this - and an option to never auto target would also be great, just like a full manual you attack where you're facing (or better yet, where your camera is facing!)

Or another small problem but major imo is that when you kill an enemy for example with Calcharo, then you switched to Yinlin right away, the camera will continue targeting that dead enemy and constantly snap to the empty spot where that enemy died. It will keep doing this for I guess 5-10 seconds??? I dunno.
if you can control the camera view "auto target + force side the camera to left/right + hit" the action camera angle view will become fighting game view.
So I'm not the only one who thinks the lock-on/auto-target system is weird 😅 thank you for this video and validating my hours of frustration when I want to finish off an enemy with 1 health and my character just be like "nope imma target this full health enemy instead"
The camera at mourning aix hologram is wild. In my case, it can automatically lock-on the aix in the middle of combat without my command. It's rly annoying since with lock-on activated, the camera can't follow aix fast enough when he perform the sky dive attack from high above, resulting on me missing the visual cue for parrying. IDK if only me experienced this.
I've also had this happen, you're not alone. Actually I had a run where the lock on followed it to the sky, then unlocked and never reset my camera, basically forcing me to be stuck staring at the sky until I died @.@
I rage quit the mourning aix hologram after stage 2, meanwhile my other holograms are done till stage 4 and can almost complete stage 5 if given 20-25 secs more. The mourning aix hologram boss is not bad but man the camera angles and auto-targeting for it sucks soooo bad, not only that, it's movesets and hitboxes are ass
sadly camera got even worse and no wide angle. It is still way to close especially in uneven terrain like Hills or camps with a lot of obstacles. The camera zooms into the floor, walls, obstacles in the way. It is kinda annoying.
After killing final enemies in a pack, my camera goes absolutely wild and will keep jerking in what i assume is the direction of the next nearest enemy. Even when none are close and im not using any attacks. It's so frustrating
Myself, as a controller player, I'd love a Zelda-esque target option of holding Left Trigger down, that cancels it if you release. This way I don't have to dick around with the Right Stick press. If I could do that and have it focus the enemy that is directly in my player's line of sight (not the camera itself,) then I would have no problems targeting at all. Instead of Left Trigger being Aim, it could be set to Left Bumper+Left Trigger. The way they have implemented this is so scuffed, and with so many other games out there that they can test and base their targeting off of, you have to wonder why this is what they decided to do instead.
One thing to add is that its so hard to click the mouse wheel. Would really like to be able to map it to another button like the side button on the mouse
For my own experience I had greater confort playing combats with a controller since you can adjust and controll the auto targeting with more precision since your movements are not limited to 8 axis but can input in a 360° around you and can thus target the exact enemie you want each time
As someone using jiyan, I have been very obvious of the lock on thing. I only use it on some bosses that fly around and move a lot. I also don't like pressing my scroll button and I just use it only when I really need it on bosses.
my problem is sometimes when i kill an enemy my camera keep focusing in that direction even if there is no other enemy and when i try to look somewhere else camera keep going back to that focused place... i just cant move my camera for 3-4 sec. i dont use lock-on enemy thing. also at bell-borne boss after i break his shield my character doesnt lock on enemy anymore and use skill or ult on random places
Nice vid, I was experimenting with this myself and I can at least tell you the 'Moving Camera Correction' setting automatically centers your camera when you're looking up or down while moving and not touching your mouse or controller. You can test this by just running a straight line and looking at the ground. Tested this out of combat but I guess this would work in combat too (although who doesn't move constantly during combat :P).
I literally got clapped because of it. I really enjoy everything so far about the game but I have gotten way too used to Warframe. Because you always look at the direction the character is facing, no need for auto targeting. And there is enemy radar.
Do you know how to fix the camera that always zooms in during battle? Ever since 1.1 I’ve been having this issue. The camera just never stays put and always zooms in after switching or using another character’s skills
This is auto target is so unfortunate. The thing most widely disliked in Genshin and they implement, in MUCH worse fashion here. I never played PGR and if they are actively working on improvements...I'll be onboard. But for me its just a log in and check out game (i bought their welkin = to support).
Sometimes it keeps forcing my camera in another direction and it's so disorienting. The middle button lock sometimes activates without me pressing it and I can't cancel it during combat. Guess this forcing pc to use mobile aim assist is just gonna be the trend going forward. Imagine if FPS games forced mouse to turn like controllers.
Tips to fix the targeting problem. If the camera went crazy, click enemy targeting, dodge further then click it again. Work mostly on ranged char. For melee, dodge 2x away from enemy, then click targeting then off. This only work after the "rest" time of the enemy so memorize the attack pattern if possible. Edit: I don't have any problem with the targeting mechanism.
thanks for the video ! they need to fix this it's crazy .. the auto targetting should either follow the keyboard input or the camera direction ... i'm having a very hard time with yinlin in the abyss trying to attack unmarked enemies it's crazy. and on top of that my jiyan in his liberation running after the enemy on the other side of the map the oposite direction of my camera and my keyboard input, if this continues i'm done with this game sadly

Tysm for the vid Im struggling with camera since day 1 and disabled all settings, but it still moves, especially it loves doing that while im fighting red elites with friends to some random direction. Are they hinting i should flee? Bruh But its more of an issue in tower cause sometimes enemies dash and 1 of them are behind me. I know it will dash again, and there are like 5 enemies in front of me, but my character still tries to go for the one in the back. Ill try following your advice today, thank you again

I'm normally not using lock on except for bosses and let auto-target leads me and, oh boy.. its rough. especially on ranged character. i.e. I input(hold) W to enemy in front of me but Encore still keep attacking other enemy off screen. it was on screen before I input attack but not when I started attack but she still aim that off screen enemy... I'm not sure if by pressing WASD again (and not holding it) before input attack will helps reset the auto-target, make it to actually aim enemy in front/nearest to me but that's what I do for now as workaround until they fix it...
I'll try until 1.2, if at the start of 1.2 there is no way to disable every single thing that has to do with auto target I just stop playing definitively. In the meantime I'll just feed back that whenever they ask for feedback. Think kind of stuff simply shouldn't exist outside of phone.

Just came back from the latest patch, camera still wonky and unfix, not just for auto targeting, I am mostly a free camera player, but whenever I try facing an enemy, somehow the camera will always try to direct me to a different view point, and this happens always when you are doing a quick combo with multiple characters, which is still annoying to this day
Give us an option to completely turn off all auto targeting. I can turn my screen and move my character just fine. It's frustrating feeling you're not in control.
Yeah a full action mode where you aim everything yourself would be great - even more so if it went towards where your camera is facing instead of character
I have been wasting a lot of Intro/outro skills because the auto aiming picks the isolated enemy sitting far away from me even tho I was hitting and focusing one right it front of me. Not sure if it has to do with guns users, since chixia is my main dps. I do not use Lock in, so it is weird because you say auto aiming usually picks enemies closer to the character.

Yeah honestly this happens a ton even for me. My best advice is to stop actions fo ra second and physically take a step towards the enemy you want to aim for, but even then sometimes the game just says no and does a 180????
On Pc is good but mobile lol, nah. I tried so hard in the new event on my phone just to get as much point as I can but i could only reach 6k. The camera is zoomed in, looked at only one enemy. When it changed to the next enemy, it didnt look at the one in grp but the outside one 😭
Is no one going to talk about the terrible sensitivity either? playing with the sensitivity sliders maxed, i still need to drag my mouse across my desk to turn 90 degrees. and when i get stutters for the first few mins after launching the game, the sensitivity is cracked way up and ill end up looking at the sky or the ground.
The best option is targeting with free camera, so you can avoid a lot of this shit, like mortefi shooting in air with his liberation after the first target is dead

This system makes the FFXIV tab target system feels like a masterpiece. I hate it. It's by far one of the things preventing me to want to keep playing this game.
I'm on phone and thought I've been slacking on Tower mode since launch and tried it. I don't remember the last time I've felt this cringe with myself. Lord have mercy.
I think they fixed a lot of it.(Tho never try enabling correction/assist ever since d1) I don't really use lock on in hack and slash games. Then I have to mess with the lock on because in 1.0 my camera keeps turning like it's locking on to something behind it. For me, I usually zoom out and just turn if the enemy is outside FoV in HnS games so it's pretty bad - unplayable when the camera keeps turning like crazy.(holy f*ck i'm fine with turning the camera myself and be .5s slower than the auto) It happened less in 1.1 tho so they may have fixed something. I would prefer having an option to turn off the soft lock on (like attacking towards the enemy with out the actual lock on system) I'm more familiar with that kind but from how the system seems to be geared toward, it doesn't seems possible. Or like Monster Hunter where there's "turn toward enemy" button (like lock on but only when pressed) and never have to really lock on to stuff.
I want to tell you something more ridiculous; The middle button of my mouse is broken but I can't make any other settings to lock on to the enemy in the settings. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in my life.
The camera targeting is my biggest gripe of this game, while the combat is great it's being squandered by that camera movement why can't they just make it like genshin heck even PSO2: NGS which the combat for me sucks with tab targeting at least that game has better action combat and for both melee and range. Like in WuWa after I finish a pack of mobs and want to turn my camera to a certain direction the camera keeps pulling back to where the enemies were.
The 1.1 patch made it worse. That zooming in or locking to the ground looking up while having all camera correction settings disabled made me put the game away. Midfight the camera zooms in that you cannot see anything anymore. God have mercy, whoever greenlit that patch while testing it, deserves to be fired.
Doing this lock-on on a phone or tablet is atrocious. I might get a Windows ARM based laptop or just wait for a PS5 release. For now, I will use my tablet.

This will absolutely make the game's locking a million times better and completely make up for any autotargeting issues since you as the player can very easily and intuitively correct the lock-on to the desired target
What annoys me is when I use Jiyans ult on Mobile the freaking camera angles constantly switching and I can't properly see enimies this also affect my targetting.

@botcchidotcchi exactly that! It's annoying af! I was only able to clear the 1st floor of the electro tower in mobile with 3 doritos. 2nd floor mob became stronger and I only got 1. 3rd floor oh boy! I was trying to kill the healer bt.ch first the lock camera is so sht man that I can't rotate camera to see what's behind me and who's attacking to dodge properly. Cuz of that keep dying to the other elite mob and ranged ones keeps hammering with there pokes time to time. Most annoying part is mobs constantly going towards the edge of the map which makes it near impossible to clear those floor efficiently with calcharo even tho I have all the buff from yinlin-_-.

Coming from Black Desert, WuWa at this point is not the best experience in the camera and targeting aspect. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the true action combat camera and an option to completly switch-off the 'targeting'/'aim-assist' in V.1.1 ;D
Yeah BDO's active action combat is definitely one of the best, and I hope they can get half as good haha
Funny story, cammera issues and QOL improvements were the first thing people complained in PGR, and after those got fixed and improved, oh boy.

They could allow changing the camera direction with the attack button like some fps games have on phone. In pc, players can press attack and swing the mouse at the same time giving them more control, but on phone, we have to release the atk button or the joystick area to either move the cam or use lock on. Which is pretty much the main difference between surviving and dying.
Ohhh you mean like tap to attack, then hold and drag or flick to move camera while attacking? That's a really good suggestion

coming from a controller player, I don't have too many issues with targetting but what I'd like to see is, no camera auto correction towards what you're softlocked on (or at least, make it stop auto correcting if you pan the camera around) and for hardlock to prioritize the enemy I'm holding the movement stick towards (like how it already prioritizes your softlock target) I'd also appreciate being able to pan the camera around while hardlocked to some extent, but for it to have a much more rigid re-centering on the hardlocked enemy.
futhermore, I'd appreciate some method of having NO TARGET when attacking so aiming stuff like jianxin/yangyang ults for grouping enemies is easier to pull off, or aoe abilities like yinlin's ult to make it easier to hit the enemies you intend to, as well as just aiming cleave abilities like danjin's chaoscleave easier to hit multiple targets with.
Yeah I think that would be so nice in an open world action combat game like this - and an option to never auto target would also be great, just like a full manual you attack where you're facing (or better yet, where your camera is facing!)

Or another small problem but major imo is that when you kill an enemy for example with Calcharo, then you switched to Yinlin right away, the camera will continue targeting that dead enemy and constantly snap to the empty spot where that enemy died. It will keep doing this for I guess 5-10 seconds??? I dunno.

if you can control the camera view "auto target + force side the camera to left/right + hit" the action camera angle view will become fighting game view.

The camera at mourning aix hologram is wild. In my case, it can automatically lock-on the aix in the middle of combat without my command. It's rly annoying since with lock-on activated, the camera can't follow aix fast enough when he perform the sky dive attack from high above, resulting on me missing the visual cue for parrying. IDK if only me experienced this.
I've also had this happen, you're not alone. Actually I had a run where the lock on followed it to the sky, then unlocked and never reset my camera, basically forcing me to be stuck staring at the sky until I died @.@
I rage quit the mourning aix hologram after stage 2, meanwhile my other holograms are done till stage 4 and can almost complete stage 5 if given 20-25 secs more.
The mourning aix hologram boss is not bad but man the camera angles and auto-targeting for it sucks soooo bad, not only that, it's movesets and hitboxes are ass

sadly camera got even worse and no wide angle. It is still way to close especially in uneven terrain like Hills or camps with a lot of obstacles. The camera zooms into the floor, walls, obstacles in the way. It is kinda annoying.

After killing final enemies in a pack, my camera goes absolutely wild and will keep jerking in what i assume is the direction of the next nearest enemy. Even when none are close and im not using any attacks. It's so frustrating
I know! It seems to happen frequently in packs of enemies - I just have to like stand still and do nothing until it resets or it keeps rubberbanding

Myself, as a controller player, I'd love a Zelda-esque target option of holding Left Trigger down, that cancels it if you release. This way I don't have to dick around with the Right Stick press. If I could do that and have it focus the enemy that is directly in my player's line of sight (not the camera itself,) then I would have no problems targeting at all. Instead of Left Trigger being Aim, it could be set to Left Bumper+Left Trigger. The way they have implemented this is so scuffed, and with so many other games out there that they can test and base their targeting off of, you have to wonder why this is what they decided to do instead.
I think that's a wonderful option.
One thing to add is that its so hard to click the mouse wheel. Would really like to be able to map it to another button like the side button on the mouse

For my own experience I had greater confort playing combats with a controller since you can adjust and controll the auto targeting with more precision since your movements are not limited to 8 axis but can input in a 360° around you and can thus target the exact enemie you want each time
As someone using jiyan, I have been very obvious of the lock on thing. I only use it on some bosses that fly around and move a lot.
I also don't like pressing my scroll button and I just use it only when I really need it on bosses.

my problem is sometimes when i kill an enemy my camera keep focusing in that direction even if there is no other enemy and when i try to look somewhere else camera keep going back to that focused place... i just cant move my camera for 3-4 sec. i dont use lock-on enemy thing. also at bell-borne boss after i break his shield my character doesnt lock on enemy anymore and use skill or ult on random places
so we have to wait until 1.1 ? and even than it might be dog shit, this needs to be addressed right now lol

Nice vid, I was experimenting with this myself and I can at least tell you the 'Moving Camera Correction' setting automatically centers your camera when you're looking up or down while moving and not touching your mouse or controller. You can test this by just running a straight line and looking at the ground.
Tested this out of combat but I guess this would work in combat too (although who doesn't move constantly during combat :P).

I literally got clapped because of it. I really enjoy everything so far about the game but I have gotten way too used to Warframe. Because you always look at the direction the character is facing, no need for auto targeting. And there is enemy radar.
Do you know how to fix the camera that always zooms in during battle? Ever since 1.1 I’ve been having this issue. The camera just never stays put and always zooms in after switching or using another character’s skills

This is auto target is so unfortunate. The thing most widely disliked in Genshin and they implement, in MUCH worse fashion here. I never played PGR and if they are actively working on improvements...I'll be onboard. But for me its just a log in and check out game (i bought their welkin = to support).

Sometimes it keeps forcing my camera in another direction and it's so disorienting. The middle button lock sometimes activates without me pressing it and I can't cancel it during combat.
Guess this forcing pc to use mobile aim assist is just gonna be the trend going forward. Imagine if FPS games forced mouse to turn like controllers.

5:30 personally I tap the directional key repeatedly and it usually works
Tips to fix the targeting problem. If the camera went crazy, click enemy targeting, dodge further then click it again. Work mostly on ranged char. For melee, dodge 2x away from enemy, then click targeting then off. This only work after the "rest" time of the enemy so memorize the attack pattern if possible.
Edit: I don't have any problem with the targeting mechanism.
thanks for the video ! they need to fix this it's crazy .. the auto targetting should either follow the keyboard input or the camera direction ... i'm having a very hard time with yinlin in the abyss trying to attack unmarked enemies it's crazy. and on top of that my jiyan in his liberation running after the enemy on the other side of the map the oposite direction of my camera and my keyboard input, if this continues i'm done with this game sadly
What i hate is when my echo skill goes to the fckn rabbit/goat/cow instead of the actual enemy near me....gawd it's frustrating, Kuro needs to seriously optimize their camera/targeting settings.

The setting after update got weird. High low or mid nothing works for me anymore. My gameplay became worse after update.

Im struggling with camera since day 1 and disabled all settings, but it still moves, especially it loves doing that while im fighting red elites with friends to some random direction. Are they hinting i should flee? Bruh
But its more of an issue in tower cause sometimes enemies dash and 1 of them are behind me. I know it will dash again, and there are like 5 enemies in front of me, but my character still tries to go for the one in the back.

It's rough - best we can do is try to reduce the effects of the bugs and pain in the ass camera for now, and hope they release a fix in the future.

I'm normally not using lock on except for bosses and let auto-target leads me and, oh boy.. its rough. especially on ranged character.
i.e. I input(hold) W to enemy in front of me but Encore still keep attacking other enemy off screen. it was on screen before I input attack but not when I started attack but she still aim that off screen enemy...
I'm not sure if by pressing WASD again (and not holding it) before input attack will helps reset the auto-target, make it to actually aim enemy in front/nearest to me but that's what I do for now as workaround until they fix it...

When i use electro boss echo with 4 hits, even in lock mode i have chaotic jumping on random enemy and often strike empty place.

I'll try until 1.2, if at the start of 1.2 there is no way to disable every single thing that has to do with auto target I just stop playing definitively. In the meantime I'll just feed back that whenever they ask for feedback. Think kind of stuff simply shouldn't exist outside of phone.

Just came back from the latest patch, camera still wonky and unfix, not just for auto targeting, I am mostly a free camera player, but whenever I try facing an enemy, somehow the camera will always try to direct me to a different view point, and this happens always when you are doing a quick combo with multiple characters, which is still annoying to this day
On mobile, fighting bosses who can fly is really like hell, because the camera lock sucks

I have been wasting a lot of Intro/outro skills because the auto aiming picks the isolated enemy sitting far away from me even tho I was hitting and focusing one right it front of me. Not sure if it has to do with guns users, since chixia is my main dps. I do not use Lock in, so it is weird because you say auto aiming usually picks enemies closer to the character.

Yeah honestly this happens a ton even for me. My best advice is to stop actions fo ra second and physically take a step towards the enemy you want to aim for, but even then sometimes the game just says no and does a 180????
On Pc is good but mobile lol, nah. I tried so hard in the new event on my phone just to get as much point as I can but i could only reach 6k. The camera is zoomed in, looked at only one enemy. When it changed to the next enemy, it didnt look at the one in grp but the outside one 😭

Is no one going to talk about the terrible sensitivity either? playing with the sensitivity sliders maxed, i still need to drag my mouse across my desk to turn 90 degrees. and when i get stutters for the first few mins after launching the game, the sensitivity is cracked way up and ill end up looking at the sky or the ground.
Yeah there's some annoying mouse acceleration going on, and also it doesn't register small mouse movements sometimes either
The best option is targeting with free camera, so you can avoid a lot of this shit, like mortefi shooting in air with his liberation after the first target is dead

I think they fixed a lot of it.(Tho never try enabling correction/assist ever since d1) I don't really use lock on in hack and slash games. Then I have to mess with the lock on because in 1.0 my camera keeps turning like it's locking on to something behind it. For me, I usually zoom out and just turn if the enemy is outside FoV in HnS games so it's pretty bad - unplayable when the camera keeps turning like crazy.(holy f*ck i'm fine with turning the camera myself and be .5s slower than the auto) It happened less in 1.1 tho so they may have fixed something. I would prefer having an option to turn off the soft lock on (like attacking towards the enemy with out the actual lock on system) I'm more familiar with that kind but from how the system seems to be geared toward, it doesn't seems possible. Or like Monster Hunter where there's "turn toward enemy" button (like lock on but only when pressed) and never have to really lock on to stuff.
I really hate when for example using Encore [E] to target that she CANT REACH. Basicly every single hit to the air.

I want to tell you something more ridiculous; The middle button of my mouse is broken but I can't make any other settings to lock on to the enemy in the settings. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in my life.
The camera targeting is my biggest gripe of this game, while the combat is great it's being squandered by that camera movement why can't they just make it like genshin heck even PSO2: NGS which the combat for me sucks with tab targeting at least that game has better action combat and for both melee and range. Like in WuWa after I finish a pack of mobs and want to turn my camera to a certain direction the camera keeps pulling back to where the enemies were.
YEAH the rubberbanding back to a dead body or something is so annoying, even if there's nothing on the screen
The 1.1 patch made it worse. That zooming in or locking to the ground looking up while having all camera correction settings disabled made me put the game away. Midfight the camera zooms in that you cannot see anything anymore. God have mercy, whoever greenlit that patch while testing it, deserves to be fired.
