Charlie Watts on drums. He quietly influenced millions of drummers around the world. Charlie was a tremendous jazz fan who didn’t listen to much rock music. But he was so very groovy, he set a standard for how drums sound on recordings. It can’t be duplicated with drum machines and computers. It’s a human development and instinct.

When you hear tunes like this you wanna live forever! Perfection.
The "Some Girls" album would be a good candidate for a full album reaction. My favorite track is "The Girl With The Far away Eyes", a sort of Country-Western tune, but with very witty lyrics. And Jagger's delivery is on point. "Shattered" and the title track "Some Girls" were hits back in the day. The Stones performed "Beast Of Burden" on Saturday Night Live at the time, high ratings.
The Stones are another one of them groups that are hard to pick a favorite but this one has to be in the top! Great music, great reaction!😍😎💕

My mom even likes this song. I'm a Stones lover. Every year after Christmas, me and about 12 of my girlfriends from high school get together and have a Stones themed party called "Some Girls Do"...you can figure out what we DO! Haha! I love that we still make that effort and we are still passing a doobie and having drinks and laughing our asses off! I'm so glad you like this one! It is a beautiful song!

This is my "go-to" Stones song. The absolute best Stones Song bar none!
The Rolling Stones have their roots in black music and have admired them like Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry ecetra. So there is a powerful, primitive, and serious feeling that cannot be felt in Beatles music. It was also considered by Otis Redding to be the only white group to do black music properly.

Check out Almost Hear You Sigh from Steel Wheels, it's another powerful song by the Stones and I think the last one with Bill Wyman- so after this, it's just Jagger, Richards and Watts as original members.

P.S... In regard to what you said about women, while it's true that the trend right now with girls in the current generation is that they're looking for "more" and "better"/always trying to "level-up" as you put it..... but it also sounds to me like you may also just be looking in the wrong places or at the wrong kind of girls, for who you are as a person anyway. 🤷♀
If it's the right girl for real, not only will you know it.... she'll know it too. They'll be no need for convincing her, buying her shit and always trying to impress her. Great pick. Yeah, the Stones are a legendary band. So many great songs. Next up? Dude, Gimmie Shelter is probably my favorite from them. Regarding Brown Sugar, I agree with you. The lyrics are questionable. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I mean taken at face value, they’re questionable. Great sound, but it’s a hard one to sing along to.

wow so many songs that are fire. Like the Beatles who are part of my soul, they go way back and have a few different styles over their reign 😁 I've been a fan since their beginning. So hard for me to request BUT try some of their earlier ones too like ' Last Time', 'Under My Thumb'', 'Mother's Little Helper' They have a huge discography so it's hard to choose. Every album of theirs had a different flavor in their style. They will always to me hold the title of the 'Greatest Rock 'N Roll Band' in history.
