Jacob Underwood because he is truе person and individual.
@@bandura7946 Because he's fucking metal, you mean. Metal shows typically don't have that crap, electronic shows typically do.
@@jacobunderwood4957 if you go to Hardcore techno events in Europe, small local events and not big-ass festivals, the music never stops from start to finish. Keeps kicking all along (there is even barely a microphone to talk). Plus these shows can sometimes last 6 hours long :)
Only problem is a lot of their songs sound too similar without having lyrics

The rise of the Darksynth!
The drummer of perturbator has to have the cleanest kick drum sound I've ever heard. It sounds so full znd it's so icnredibly precise.
Midi trigger on the bass drum. Nice
Its all pre-recorded. They are not really playing the sounds on stage, its just for show.

I certainly did mate! Found myself in 3 moments. Concert started 2am... when I just woke up and I really wanted to attend... after 15mins I was partying among the crowd ;)
Running drunk and out of breath at 2 AM in a dimly lit neighborhood with Humans are Such Easy Prey blasting through my headphones will probably be one of my favorite memories. Perturbator makes the best workout music.

I was actually expecting to see a bunch of bullshit and shit flinging about the shirt. I'm glad there isn't.
@@Kataxu The lack of bitching is probably due to most synthwave fans having no clue what Deathspell Omega is.
Speaking of Deathspell Omega, their producer is the guy behind Carpenter Brut, another awesome synthwave project.

Goddamn the drummer can keep up with synth like a machine. That light show is phenomenal 😍

Dude if you're a metalhead, Dark Synthwave will be your jam. If you haven't yet, I highly recommend listening to Carpenter Brut. He's my favorite in the genre, and this is coming from someone that is both a metalhead, grunge addict, and listens to a lot of electronic music; this is like the perfect balance.
that deathspell omega t-shirt tho.

I feel like I've just discovered a whole new world, like synth music has morphed with metal, never expected that.
The 90s had Nirvana, the 20s have Perturbator!
Warwick EnG I feel the same. I had no clue, found it by accident. This is so fu***** great!
TBH if there was LIVE guitar in synthwave it would probably revive rock/metal and get chicks into it again. But it'd need good lyrics too.
@@partywavemusic3470 In regards to the guitar part, Carpenter Brut has got you covered!
@@CoasterTamer Yes true but I should have been more specific, synthwave would need fun uplifting songs about looking at butts at the beach, beating up rappers, conquering women and other fun positive themes like that. It would have to take over what rap tries to do, shouldn't be too hard. No reason why that can't happen except for leftist losers who don't won't to win the music culture battle. Honestly I like metal but newer metal can't win over the chicks, it's not clever or fun sounding, danceable, etc enough.
@@partywavemusic3470 I like the zyrinx driver yamaha2612 fm synth jesper kyd the synth is dirty sounding I have a guitar don't you think electric guitar gets kinda old synthesizers can create new sounds and a bunch of sounds some are programmable
It is absolutely amazing to see so many people enjoying Synthwave in one place. I love this genre because it connects best of both worlds: Electronic and Metal :)
Yes! Thank you! 🤘
So sick. Huge ass crowd man. See you back in Boston. The live drummer is a game changer. 🔥🔥🔥
I'm ready to fly to Europe!
Who ever did the lighting here is woefully unpraised.
Super hard to make lighting work for something like this, there should be more activity on stage, but when the band kinda exists of only two how do you make it breathe and feel alive?
there's only so much such a small band can do on stage when they have to be fixed to their instruments.
Whoever you are, you kicked ass and made this show more awesome, you filled out the stage.
ruclips.net/video/o3Dc50bdeyM/видео.html
I just realized, the light engineer is basically a composer. He's doing with light what composers do with music, only in 3 dimensions. A symphony is an arranged sequence of chords and notes from a set of instruments, the light engineer is composing a light-symphony. It looks like an insane amount of work too!
Atomic clocks are driven by that drummer.
Such a clean crisp sound for a live show. Im impressed.
Because it was reproduced for the video purpose lol.
@@JanKowalski-pe9lo Probably not.
80% backing tracks minus the live drumming and some synth leads. I know a Prophet 6 can't produce all of that sound on it's own.
@@Arperture You are absolutely right.

I was listening to this trying to sleep (they started at 2am?) in a tent on the festival but the ground was shaking too much.
Why would you choose to sleep when you could be in the crowd for this masterpiece?!
@@smithles554433 That`s a rookie but common mistake at woodstock (polandrock). I`ve once missed Modestep concert, because i was layin drunk next to my tent, luckily they`ve uploaded it online a few years after. Aside from that, it was trully a great concert. I`ve seen Pert in a small club playing with Moloch, Polish darksynth/synthwave artist, and the vibe, and feeling of "unsetteling" that they`ve made during the Woodstock concert is undescripable. If anybody wonders if they should go and see Perturbator perform live, i can trully reccomend it. Cheers guys, stay healthy!
