Something not mentioned about professions. Its always a good idea to go with the first and second profession that work together. Like blacksmithing and mining, alchemy and herbalism, etc. If you dont want to do that then youll need to go with another character and set those companion professions as that alts professions(for instance a main character with blacksmith/alchemy and an alt with mining/herbalism amd you collect mats with your alt bank them and then collect them on your main to then level your profession, it can get time consuming doing this as youll be farming for two different professions at once). Otherwise youll need to buy all the materials youll need to do your profession which can get expensive and oftentimes make it worthless to even do your profession. GatherMate2 is also an EXTREMELY good add on to install for professions because it will display your professions gatherables on your minimap and your big map.
@@icenote1591 just in general rogue will be skinning and leatherworking and mage will be herbalism and alchemy. but its mostly dependent on whether or not those 2 characters will be played equally or if youre going to be maining one of them. bc then you want your main character to be the alchemist(and something else like enchanting) and another toon to do things to help your main out(like cover herbalism for alchemy and tailoring, etc)

Im finally trying this game after knowing about it since i started game 20+ yrs ago. Doesnt seem like theres as much stuff as i would have thought there would be after being out so long.
Yeah you're right. The last good story was the build up and conclusion of the Burning Legion. After that it feels like they just needed some weird ass story to tell because they had no idea what to do. ( BFA, SL and DF) I really hope the new "saga" gives us a Burning Legion, dealing with sargaras like story again.
Last Addon I played was Mists of Pandaria almost 12 yrs ago. Wanted to dive back in again but im kinda afraid. Especially that I just will run around do quest for quest and understand basically nothing.
As someone in the exact same position, I just started with Pandaria as the last time I played I can say they have Timewalking now. Where you can pick what expansion you want to play. You can play these expansions all the way up to level 60. At level 60 you will stop earning experience and be told to go to your capital city. If you want to continue on the expansion you're on, do not return to your capital city as doing so will eject you from timewalking and tell you to progress through the new story. Once you're lvl 61+ you can no longer do timewalking. So my advice would be to switch between all the expansion stories just to unlock the beginner areas of every zone. Then pick one and level to 60. Then progress into the live game to level to 70 and get better gear. Then return to the older zones to wrap up. If anything try to do the oldest expansions first so that you'll have the oldest content done without issue or feel like the pacing is all weird.
Ik it's 3 months later but most of the races only require level 40 but they also require you to do a quest in game to unlock. Most of the time you go talk to an NPC in the Embassy in the capital city of your faction and you can learn about them and start those quests to unlock them. Hovering over the character images when making a new character will tell you where to go to unlock them.

Been a diablo player for years and I've been wanting to play wow for quite a while. I think this video helped me make my mind by at least trying the game for a month.
You need to buy a subscription for 13 euro's or USD. You can level up from 1-60 and it includes all expansions (BFA too) up to dragonflight. If you enjoy the game, you can buy the expansion that let's you go from level 60-70.
Last time I played was MoP and just recently decided to play again. I literally do not remember anything from WoW anymore so I needed a guide. Thank you.
i had play Final Fantasy 14 before, now i'm trying WOW, but after watching this video, i feel 2 game like the same playstyle, just different story and race. Both game can let u do anything without spending real money, but take your money from sub every month :D 1 BIGGEST different from 2 game is: in FF14 one character can play all the class, changing all class everytime you want with just 1 character, and WOW is not...
The problem with wow is 2 major things... 1: The graphics. The game still looks like it was make in 2005. Compare wow today to when it first came out... to something like eve online now, compared when it first came out. There really is no excuse for not upgrading the visuals of wow, other then blizzard is lazy and they don't want to spend money when they know they already have a huge fan boi audience that will pay regardless of the graphics. They can literally print money because of old 30 yo fan bois that don't care what blizzard does. Graphics are not everything, but as a new player, i don't want to play a game that makes millions and still looks like it can be run on a ps2. And 2. There is no logical direction in the game once you start it up. Once you get out of the beginning area, you don't know where to go, what to do, how to progress, or what is really even going on on a larger scale. If leveling is the only thing a player should be working towards so they can do a limited number of dungeons or raids, how incredibly boring that is. Compared to other MMO games like SWTOR, or guild wars, or eve online, there is a very clear, do this to progress your character, class, or gameplay style you enjoy. Last time I tried wow, i was just going though the motions, doing quest without actually giving a F*** because everything about quest's is given to you in old mmo text that looks like its from 2005. Who wants to read EVERYTHING! Everything is "go do said thing", only to be hit with a cutscene out of no where after doing said thing quest 50 times. A cut scene that was 20x the graphic fidelity of normal gameplay, and I couldn't care less because I didn't care to read, because i only cared about leveling. My god i could rant for a long time. I just wish i could enjoy wow, but man is it a boring game. I am going to try again, but this time my goal is pvp. Maybe the game might actually be fun if i get to s*** on other players, because boring read text quest's.... I would literally rather play anything else.
