I think I've watched this performance hundreds (if not thousands) of times, and Every Single Time I get chills, my breath is taken away, and I cry. There are two performances by singers covering someone else's song that will far outlive us, this performance by Adam Lambert is the best of them, and a very close second is Aretha Franklin covering for Pavarotti (who fell ill and couldn't sing), when she sang Nessun Dorma LIVE at the 1998 Grammys. I was shaken and rattled by both of them!
