This is great because it seems like this method will play a lot more nicely with prefabs

Thank you for taking your time to make this. I've been using hondunes grindspline workflow since I started making maps and it's by far the most annoying, repetitive and boring process.

Thanks for this tutorial - I have one problem, though: when pressing the "generate colliders" button Unity hangs up .. I'm also getting a "Confirm" window unlike in your video.
Did the SXLplugin somehow change - is this a bug?
I'm using Unity 2019.3.15 - on a mac but it does the same on Windows.

Nice thanks! Is there any option to help on bowl coping ?

Have you managed to figure out copings yet? I'm still having trouble with it...

@@95airgabriel Yes I did it but I think I did it in unity using Bill's script. The blender part didn't worked for me in bowl coping. But there are a lot o maps with bowls now that work perfect. You can try and ask them. Sorry it's been some time and I can't remember exactly how

Nice tutorial man, do you have this objects and skater reference uploaded somewhere? Any plans on making more tutorials on how to create grindsplines in different types of objects?

when I try any of these methods only one spline will work in game, the rest just fling the guy off at super fast speeds... any ideas what's going on?

I'm losing my spline point child objects when I import my fbx to unity, all that's left is my base mesh. Blender steps worked fine, exported fine, but when I drag and drop fbx into Unity, child objects for the spline are just gone :(

Update: the only difference I can tell from my project and what I'm seeing in this tutorial is that I was trying to use a Unity 2020 version. I suspect trying again with Unity 2018.3 would fix this problem

@@WelhamGaming you need to use the current build of unity skater xl uses which is version 2019.3.15 as of 1.0
