Here in europe where muscle cars in general are quite hard and expensive to come by you don't really see a single one crashing since they are mostly owned by old people who bought it as a weekend cruiser.

The reliability and resale value of German cars are horrendous. You can buy them for a fraction of their original cost after a few years mainly because they are just money pits. They are all cheap plastic now.The ones from the 80s and early 90s were decent because they were more mechanical and easier to fix.
It largely depends if you where trying to keep up with maintenance and/or if you were it's first owner. The problem with japanese sport cars is that they ALWAYS get beat on by it's first or second owner, the third one always pays the price for the damage left by previous owners. This kinda applies to any sport car, but the Japanese ones are the cheapest by miles, so of course they are that much more attainable to those who don't know how to care them properly (aka, young drivers). Challenger R/T owner btw, just to make that clear.
@@DJAizakku I bought a Nissan 370 Z in 2009 brand new. I was the first owner of the car gave me nothing but problems. I never beat on it or ran it hard I just took it to and from work that was it. It would turn off , the car would shake , an axle broke randomly , when you turn it on it will turn off I would have to turn it on and then rev it to keep it tuned on which is ridiculous 🤣🤣. I kept up with all my maintenance I was so strict on making sure all my the maintenance & recommendations were done. And still problems . The steering wheel would lock randomly and I would have to get it towed to the dealer. Like it was a headache. Like sure I got compliments because the car looked nice but that was it...it just looked nice and it wasn’t really that fast to be honest the power is very weak. I ended up trading it in 2018 for a brand new dodge challenger scat pack and I’ve never had any issues with my scat pack best decision I ever made.

I've had nothing but pure joy owning my S550 GT. A dead battery was the only issue in my 40 months of ownership. The next car I'm adding will be a Challenger 6.4L or Camaro 6.2L. Nothing more satisfying than the sound of a V8!

911 GT3 Touring would be my choice! I'm not too hip on hairdryers and plumbing (turbos) cramped into that small engine space, and that 3.8 or 4.0 fine-tuned _naturally aspirated_ engine is an excellent choice @ 500+ HP, and I would prefer the touring version with more creature comforts with the auto "whale tail" because a good paved road is fine enough for me! I'm not going to be doing any racing, and I would already have power!

I'm torn on this. On one hand, yes, based on what I heard and research I've done on my own, the RCF, Mustang, Camaro, Corvette, 911 and Miata are solid cars. But on the other, Audi, Mercedes, BMW? I doubt it. And also, as a Challenger owner, he ain't kidding! It's way more reliable than you would think.

Early 90s - mid 00's was simply the most epic era of Japanese automotive dream Sport cars. Any car you picked was simply awesome in its own way: Honda: NSX,CTR, ITR, S2K Nissan: 240SX, 300ZX, Sylvia, GTR Mazda: RX7, MX5 Toyota: MR2, Celica, Supra Subaru: WRX STi Mitsubishi: Lancer EVO and so many others I didn't list.. Any of these cars would put a smile on your face. I used to own an '04 S2K and I miss it dearly lol

Both my sister's had Integra's the older car was more reliable than the newer one. I drove one of them once. It was fast definitely a girls car though.
My 94 GSR Integra was pretty damn quick, especially in the twisty's, because it handled like a dream. Plus its VTEC could sing comfortably all day at 8k rpms!

this is a pretty badly composed list if you ask me.....in most cases the reliability is connected to the reliability of the engine and not all trims of one car are equally reliable- this is especially true with BMW cars where the reliability greatly varies from trim to trim depending on the engine option- the best example that popped to my mind is the E39 5 series- inline 6 models are pretty reliable while V8 models have timing chain issues.......if you make a list like this it needs to be more precise so that the viewers get a realistic presentation abut the reliability

The Challenger is one of the few Chrysler products that is reliable because of the Hemi V8. The big problem with Chrysler is Fiat's ownership. Like with Fiat, they use cheap parts in a lot of places. Chrysler was much better off on their own.

As a previous owner of a 370Z I will tell you that car was NOT reliable . Nothing but problems. I switched to American muscle and never looked back.

Um you show a NA miata and say it has a 2 liter motor with 180 hp. Get your facts straight. A first gen NA miata only came with a 1.6 or 1.8 liter engine and only 100 or 130 hp.
