Curotto Can is the absolute worst concept for automated residential collection. As a driver for a major hauler myself I can give you a dozen legitimate reasons why this should never be used over an ASL
@@killor1743 The truck is longer making it less maneuverable Increased blind spots along both A Pillars operating with the arms down When the can is full you have to stop and dump it VS an ASL is continuous collection. Now you also have overheard issues with trees, power lines, etc. You have to pack when the hopper is filled after dumping the cab VS ASL runs auto pack after every lift. The arm shakes the cab profusely when going side to side to empty carts. Blind spots. Over height clearance issues. Maneuvering issues. Excessive cab shake. And I can run the same route faster in an ASL than a Curotto. We got 10 brand new ones and I won’t take one if you paid me more to drive it. Matter of fact we’re sending them out to another yard and replacing with 10 new ZR units
Awesome video bro this truck is cool. It’s neat seeing this driver picking up both trash and recycling.
Can I use one of those parts of the video as a short for my channel? I'll mention your channel
Noooo the pain is here from seeing the mixing 😭😭
Yeah, every route wasn’t complete that day
they should’ve done mixed greens and trash 💀💀
right
They make money off the greens. Some routes got all 3 mixed though
nice bro
man, what hurts as bad as the mixing of trash and recycling is that is the first new Peterbilt curroto can without one of the doors
Oh yeah, republic mechanics seem to hate good looking trucks
Cool, sad it was mixed :(
