Thank you I just started a new character recently after going glass cannon mage and I wanted to try a bleed build and you are so far the only video I’ve come across that actually breaks it down early game as compared to other videos that show mid to late

For those looking for stats for the build i kinda came up with it on the fly after watching this vid. I started with the bandit class cause of the arcane being a good starting point for only having to add 16 points into the attribute. Due to the bandit class intellect starts off at 9 points so i didnt add anything to it. Also to clarify with all the added points into everything my character is at level 180. Also the build being dex build relying on the bleedflame incantation and the specific physick you can also use other dex weapons like curve swords and rapiers and stormcaller ash of war as well as repeating thrust ash of war you can get some serious damage in. Another thing is you could reverse the dex to strength weapon usage with greatswords and halberds and specific colossal weapons while using the blooodflame incantation and physick. Stormcaller double slash and repeating work great on greatswords especially the iron greatsword. Also your gonna want to use the old lords talisman it extends the incantations duration by an extra 30%. But below is my character stats and hope the info is useful
Vigor 40
Mind 30
Endurance 30
Strength 30
Dexterity 50
Intellect 9
Faith 30
Arcane 30

I had watched a video about batallion of skeltals killing bosses in Elden Ring (Something I'd expect to see in D4 in regards to the necro minions' as efficient as them) and now this? I'd check on it asap.

what if you want to do yuri's quest? wont you miss out on the other katana later in the game?
For anyone really struggling with the Putrid Avatar, I would recommend getting flame sling. Allocate all your flasks to mana and ride torrent around him
Plush this is a great recommendatio I will return and redo it that way!
Btw for those who struggle to kill the guy for the katana you can lure the skeletons that are located further in the cave next to a wind jump and when they try to hit you they will damage him.
if you want early levels the best way to do that is just go see patches and grab a gold pickle root. (the item that makes enemies drop more runes) use the portal behind the church from where you get the physic and teleport to the beast dude and run to the back of greyrol who will just be sitting there. just hack at it with a bleed weapon till the bleed procs kill it with the pickle root active and it kills greyrol and all the dragons in front of it giving you an easy 90k ish runes and 5 dragon hearts if those are relevant for you.
this takes you to about level 40 right away with no combat aside from the invasion in front of patches cave and patches himself. and patches chest will basically send you to the church after you buy the pickle root as well for extra convenience.

Back again😂 i’ve been playing and it’s a great build and fun to play with but any armor ideas to use because i have the white mask and i’ve just been picking up armor here and there
Is the nagakiba best for this build or Uchigatana good enough (im doing my playghrough rn trying to get good stuff etc, im not sure if its worth swapping from the defualt samuari wep to the nagakiba)should i go all out on the nagakiba?
Nagakiba has incredible range that is why it's so good!

Another thing, I think claws might be better since you could a decent amount of damage but with the ash of war double slash BLOOD it may do more damage over time than this sword

Endurance max 20 - Then Push Vigor and Dex at the same time - This usually puts you nicely through the game!

Umpf - I prefer my Mimic Tear because it uses the Blade + the Weapon Art :D
What’s a good armor set to run with this build
big fan of this build so far im about halfway through the game. i prefer this to the occult bleed build because you don't lose nearly as much damage against hemorrhage immune bosses, since its basically a dex build with bleed tacked on. i added radagons scoreseal into my early pathing and picked up white mask as well. the builds that abuse seppuku seem like way too much hassle compared to the simplicity of bloodflame blade which is no trouble to recast in a bossfight.
These are great choices and yes even vs the Elden Beast it ain't pain with "no bleed"
Tbh sword dance would be better as an ash of war for the nagakiba
(I used it against melania and she did get a chance to attack me)
Double Slash is super early super easy to aquire :) Not sure about sword dance

what would be the best stats to invest in only dex vigor and endurcance? or should i also go for some faith and arcane for other incantations like rot breath?
I don't use any other incantations - Full on Dex + Vig + End

For getting the ash of war the first grace at Selia, you can jump on some of the debris and shoot the beetle instead of going through the town. Hope this helps!

You can get Yura again at the mountaintop of giants beginning! Any sword will do - Nagakiba just has incredible range :)
Yura also shows up near Raya Lucaria main gate site of grace if you've just done his Limgrave spots.

No!
You know this is a guide and you don't zoom out on your map, so we can see where the hell to get the ash of war

Yes mask should work plenty well! Usually I do add the Greatshield talisman for bonus defense

Milicent's Prosthesis also has a successive attack Talisman and gives +5 dex, but you need to kill her, if you do Millicents quest, you also get another successive attacks Talisman ( so you could have 3 when you hit ng+)
When 5 minutes of this video translates to hours of gameplay for me lmao. Good stuff! Now I just need to get runes for arcane/faith since I didn't have enough after Margit fight.
As someone who has started this as a new player, I can't help but realize how fun this game is if it weren't for guides.
Sometimes I just feel like I could play however I want, but fear I'd be doing the wrong thing.
You can always play however you want without doing anything "wrong" - Guides are mostly there to help you against frustrations :)
With bleed you can farm the big unmoving dragon in Caelid, google it. With the horse you can get to the nearby grace before he disappears and kill him again. Even if you only kill him once it is a ton of souls.
How do I apply the blood flame blade with an ash of war still on it
Just saw a vid saying if you use the mimic ash you can use shabrbris woe summon the mimic take the talisman off and any boss will just attack the mimic
You can do that :) But it aint needed - You will be cruising anyways!

Really get into the game and I’m gonna try to do no build next play through and just go through blindly. As someone who didn’t play much when it came out and I was gifted it for my past bday I have been playing a lot recently and your guide was helpful even tho some bits I was a little confused I was able to look it up and watch other guides to help out the pieces together
Boomer here in the +65. I was able to do this but took me about 5 hours. Had to stop and pause to learn what you saying LOL. I am so bad at roof jumping but finally did it after about 7 tries. Killed all mobs as they would knock me off the final tree LOL. Thank you-but if you could slow it down just a bit

Question, I have the casting tool equipped on left bloodflame incant on top and right side nagakiba. It doesnt seem to activate even when I tap bloodflame. Any insights?

Oh hey, yeah I have 12 faith 10 arcane. Was able to equip bloodflame and not grayed out. But whenever I try to activate it nothing happens@@P4wnyhof

i found it guys! u have to buy The finger seal to the twins in Roundtable for 800 Runes, then equipped on the left socket then press L1.. hope it helped @@allaure0917
okay here's my situation, i already have a build and i have almost everything needed for this one but i feel as if my build is all over the place because it's my first souls game. I know I can reset my stats would it be useful to do this build right after beating radhan? i haven't progressed further and I've just been farming runes.
Oh you can 100% just redo into the build - I beat the game 3 times in a row with it (Ng+ and NG++)

Later on you can choose whatever Armor you want
Try to stay medium Armor thou for medium Armor rolls and not fat rolls

Fire giant is easy going for this 👍 just slice and dice - can use s fire resistance talisman if you picked one up

Do you know what i can do to get the nagakiba if i spoke to yura after encountering bloody finger nerijus (i didnt kill him). After yura helped me defeat him he disappeared and is not under the cave, neither is his katana.
Start a new game! He should be there thou seems bugged 😅
The big lake east of where you start the game from the cave of knowledge there’s a big rock overlaid that you can ride your horse through. He’s there for me.

How did it go
For those who don’t know. If you don’t kill Yura, after he’s helped you defeat the invader early in the game to get the Nagakiba, you would then have to travel to the mountain of the Giants. In order to do that, you need both pieces of the Decius Medallion to get to Leyndell. In order to get into Leyndell, you’d have to have another Great Rune which you get after defeating a Demi-god boss. Once you’re in the city, then you need both pieces of the Rold Medallion. To get that you’d have to first defeat Godric, the Golden before getting to Margit. Defeating him will give you the Medalion. So, although this is a cool build, you’d still have to work your way through things, so take your time and enjoy the game.
I’ve just beaten the game yesterday cus of this,😭 it’s actually too OP, I first tried Godfrey, Malenia on second try, and Elden beast took a few tries. If you’re a beginner or just suck (like me) I really recommend this build!

Not really since Nagakiba scales better with dexterity than strength, focus up on dexterity, arcane, and vigor

What stats should I have for level 100 and if I’m using the radahn armor I have the prosthesis wearer heirloom and green turtle talisman for my other two talisman slots am stuck in the last boss
Get the Lord Of Blood Exultation’s and Warrior jar shard talismans (you could get ritual sword talisman if you don’t want to kill alexander). Focus up on dexterity then arcane, vigor, and endurance
what kind of armor suites this build really well that I could go for?
Mostly running around with Crucible Knight Armor :) You got the stats for it and it looks great!
Dawg fighting the Putrid avatar at that level is borderline impossible, his rot attack has way too much range and he does so much damage almost everything is a one tap

Ah it is the assasin set - You get it by finding dectus medaillions and then teleporting back to the roundtable hold - You get attacked by this weird assasin then :D!
