- I'm in Cappadocia, Turkey where I came to explore the unique history, foods and landscapes! I visited family-owned businesses that sold beautiful works of art that ranged from ceramics and local gemstones to the most beautiful hand-woven carpets I've ever seen! I desperately wanted to ride in a hot air balloon, but unfortunately, my ride was canceled because of a heavy fog that rolled in that morning. I hope you enjoy coming with me on my 24 hours spent in Cappadocia!

Grandparents had a dairy farm and picked the tripe. Then fried it in scrambled egg batter.

I lived in Kadikoy, Istanbul and females when out in public, generally wear a shawl or dress of some kind in reverence to the Muslim culture. But, yes it is an ancient culture with lots of beautiful and interesting things to see.

They had to make some parts of the Underground City narrow and short because at the bottom floor which is a church, they worshipped LORD JESUS with music and dancing, so the SOUND OF WORSHIP wouldn't go out so the enemy wouldn't kill them. 😲 The whole Cappadocia was a hiding place for Christians who stood for their FAITH. 👑✝️❤🕊🙏
