Thank-you so much for sharing!! My wife and I are from B.C., Canada and we are heading down there and staying at Asilomar from January 18th to 21st 2025. We learned of this place from Dr. Wayne Dyer's movie "The Shift" which was filmed there at the conference grounds back around 2008.
Hello! it's a great location to spend a few days. Rustic but that's the charm. And the walks along the Pacific Ocean are amazing. I'll have to watch that movie. Thanks for the tip. Appreciate you watching and thank you for leaving a comment. Cheers and Happy New Year!
Beautiful - and as I am used to in your videos, a complete picture. What a stunning area. Love coastlines - miss the be3aches truth be told. We have them but nothing like what I am used to. Best advice these days - don't build too close to the edge. Stunning views- I bet you had a grand time. More travels any day now- I am looking forward to your stories. Happy Sunday. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀🥝🎄
Hi Anita! You are right, the beauty of the Pacific coastline never ceases to amaze us! Soon we'll be off to another beautiful part of this world. And the good news is we think we finally figured out the train system! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend. Appreciate you watching and thanks for leaving a comment. Cheers!
Good one. For some reason that landscape and stone buildings was giving me a Grand Canyon feel. Nice to see the other side of the Pacific Ocean. Do you reckon those rugged coasts are only the result of erosion, or do you think some past quake activity helped form it?
Good question HW. I always wondered the same thing. From what I understand it's because of all the fault lines and movement of the earth over time. Thanks for watching and hope you have a great rest of your weekend!
Oh...sorry to hear than about your husband. Hope you enjoyed the time that you had there. We would love to live in Pacific Grove but cost of housing is crazy there now. Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment but again sorry to hear about your husband.
