KYLE, THEY LOOK GREAT. I JUST GOT A SET OF THE Hawk Helium 30" will be trying my set out soon, this looks like a good option to get a little higher with my saddle set up. Thanks i really need 18- 20

Thanks. In the past I tried to get 22' to 25' myself. After using this set up I usually ended up around 18'-20'. With the ability to hide from approaching deer I never got busted this past season.

If you use a figure 8 follow through knot instead of an overhand knot, you won't have to use the paracord. You could loop the rope around the stick and it would always hang true

The linesman belt should keep you from hitting the ground but you can still get banged up if your foot slips off a step. I only use mine when hanging sticks or a stand, because climbing or descending with 3 points of contact is easier without it, and that’s the best way to stay safe. (Most recommend a climbing line for pre-sets but that’s still no substitute for the 3 points of contact rule.) As for your aiders, you did good because they look like they’ll stay open. I’ve got cable aiders on both my full length Helium’s and cut down ones. They’re not perfect, but they won’t swing in a breeze and should be always open for my boot.

Sorry for the delay. I used a modified Improved Clinched Knot. I am trying to post pics but am struggling.

Try 1” tubular nylon slip a anchor bolt into it like 8” long and tie a knot at the step length loop over bottom step
