Unfortunately I don’t have a model railway due to space and financial restraints but in my humble opinion I rate yours as my favourite on RUclips Graham 👍 very informative and interesting every time you post a video😎 fabulous set up!! Keep up the good work and great content 🍺 many thanks for your efforts
As I’m now at this very stage of building my layout this is an extremely helpful, straightforward demonstration of what I need to do. Great video. Very many thanks.
Great little project that Graham. Looks really good too. Mind you I'm not sure how comfy your pyjamas will be now, with blended turf and ballast glued to the sleeves 😂 plus them wood pigeons must've been looking through the skylight as they sounded impressed too. Cheers for sharing Graham👌. Till next time.
I don't seem to get covered in what I'm using. Never really been a messy worker, unlike that right Charlie who seems to wear everything he works on. Still a smashing guy and a great channel to boot. Didn't get a lot of sleep that night, but got a lot of scenics done. Atb Graham 🙂 👍
What a great way of building both a test track and at the same time practicing scenic work before committing to the main layout. Absolutely great diorama Graham. Always fascinating vids from you. Many thanks.Simon 😀
Hope it's of help to someone. Just hope to encourage people to have a go really. It's also my favourite part of railway modelling and I very much enjoyed doing it myself. Cheers, thanks for watching 👍 😊
I've got a few reasons for making it really Stuart. I'm going to sell off my old DC collection in various ways soon, one being possibly fairs. So this is part of a cunning plan to use it as a scenic prop / test track / Photo prop etc. Got an old flexible wire H&M control unit today at a toy fair. Now all I need is a 12v battery to make it a mobile display/Test Track. Don't really need it as a programming track, and would of been a bit of an overkill as well. Saying that it's become a good practice piece. Cheers 🙂 👍
Very nice mate, did you know an Irish lady invented that as a way to display her models ,her name was Diane O’rama but she liked to be known as Di😂,great work my friend. BTW I’m third generation Irish so I’m ok 😊😊 All the best Mark 😅
Nice one Graham! Test track looks great already and will keep you busy adding more to it as we all know this is just the start 🤣 just wondering what sort of time were you up in the loft to hear the birds waking up or had you been there all night ? 🤣🤣 cheers Darrell 😃👍
I was up in the loft far to early, but I didn't have any work to go to the next day. It's great occasional doing this in the summer. Lovely to hear the world wake up. I seem to get a lot done as well. Cheers Graham 🙂 👍
@WHP1980s even so I still think you need to find an excuse to come to Manchester and help me even your Intro looks amazing mate 👌 youtube.com/@darrenfawkner2018?si=5KuQNBnmrG7z97vo
Hi Graham, excellent tutorial. May I ask wheather you remove the foil backing of the styrofoam prior to cutting and/or glueing? Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Loving it, all and certainly a way to hone ones skills, before committing to a Full layout.
Excellent Graham. Although just a programing track, you have transformed it into something special, well done to you. ATB Stuart

Yes I do remove the foil as best I can, doesn't have to be perfect, but it does give a better key to a surface when adding the glue. Cheers 🙂 👍
Many thanks Graham, much appreciated.
