Thought the heart monitor was particularly interesting-not many streamers do it that I've seen and it's really an interesting gauge of the runner's mindset and physical status.
AndyGHKFilm I watch gunnermaniac a lot on twitch( he does Pokémon speedruns) and he does that as well!

all it is is just 6 speedruns, but with a less strict success requirement.
it'd be cool if the challenge was to get as many mario games done in an hour as possible, any mario game, in any order.

I'm impressed. I played all these games as a kid. Now I'm playing them with my 4yr old son.
I'm sure we spend 20x the time you spend on each game. Very impressive how you can memorize all the games in one go. Also, very satisfying watching this.

Darb's reaction to his death in the lost levels was priceless!
Taven Webb it's gotta hurt. Especially right after he got done saying he'd memorized every level and had done a near flawless run up to that point. That's a massive setback and you can actually see his heart rate elevate slightly afterwards for the remainder of the run because he wasted so much time there.

Yes, I've been working on trying to improve this time a lot lately. You can see the attempts live on my Twitch channel that's linked in the description. I'd like to take a minute off of this time, which seems very realistic but something always goes wrong
Statistics:
It took 5 minutes to beat SMB
10 minutes to beat SMB:LL
9,5 minutes to beat SMB2
12 minutes to beat SMB3
11 minutes to beat SMW
And 11 minutes to beat SM64

I understand playing them All on original consoles (well done by the way congrats) but my question is would using super mArio all stars with super Mario would help your time at all???
I actually don't know if it would help my time or not. But as you said - I'm interested in playing the original releases for this challenge, so it doesn't matter.
you would lose more time on all-stars, snes boot time plus fudging with the menu.
x x If he is starting on first game boot up, then he would actually save time, because it cuts out the console switching.
navigating the menu in SMAS is significantly slower than just turning on another console and picking up another controller
