Those who were put into a false world and migrated
What do they say or give any news?
Those with various herbs growing on them
What do they say or give any news?
Trees grow on some people's heads
The grass turns yellow on some people's heads
Some innocent, some beautiful brave men
What do they say or give any news?
Their delicate skin soaked in the soil
    Their sweet tongues left unsaid
    Let's pray and forget these
What do they say or give any news?
    Yunus says, appreciate your work.
Her eyelashes and eyebrows have fallen out
    syllable stones on their heads
What do they say or give any news?

There is not much information about Yunus Emre, who came to life in a period full of cruelty, as the Anatolian Seljuk State was in a period of collapse and the invasion of the Mongols took place. There is not much known about Yunus Emre's educational life.
It is known that he knows Persian and Arabic, but it is not known where he received this education. Some rumors say that Yunus Emre was illiterate and worked as a farmer alongside his father. With the Mongol invasion that spread westwards in 1241, many artists, Sufis, Turkmens and scientists migrated to Anatolia. Since Yunus Emre was born in a period when oppression was widespread, he wrote poems about tolerance and inviting the public to love, and his successful works have come to this day. Yunus Emre traveled to Anatolia, Azerbaijan and Iran as a dervish. It has been found in cities with many cultural centers such as Damascus, Shiraz, Tabriz, Maraş, Nakhchivan, Kayseri and Sivas.
There is no clear information about whether Yunus Emre is married or not. It is thought that he has children, as he states in a verse he wrote. In each of his works, he stated that his sheikh was Tapduk Emre. He used the name Taptuk Yunus in some of his poems. Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi said many words of praise. According to some views, it is said that Yunus Emre met Hacı Bektaşi Veli, but there is no evidence for this. This is not mentioned in any of his poems. It is thought that he died in 1321.
