Peterborough station 21.2.24

Having been some decorating, I decided to have a day out with my camcorder. I contacted Malcolm Crabbe and we arranged to meet up on Platform 4.
It was cold, wet and windy and I got bowled twice, once by an Azuma and a LNER staff member. On top of that the ECML was having a signal failure north of Peterborough...you couldn't make it up.
I wanted to wait for the Loram 37 but my feet were freezing so I decided to get an earlier train back to Sandy (lightweight I hear you say).

It was nice to meet up again... I wonder if we will ever do a day at Peterborough without signal failures, broken down trains or OHLE issues... we seem to be cursed every time we go there !!
