What a gentleman ! .... The way it should be done. If you cant do it nice and smooth dont try at all. Save the tracks for all of us but it all starts with the right attitute Big thumbs up !!!!
Aussie Four Wheelers (Hemi4WD) From the best of your knowledge and experience, between the 2 Bias ply compounds, are there any considerable difference in kms and most importantly side wall flex? Do those 2 compounds share the same tread and side biter pattern? Considering the Bias 35" for my Jeep XJ, but not quite sure which compound.
The GU being a weekend warrior and sitting aside for few days, have you experienced any deformation of the tyre shapes (flattening contact patch) like old day bias plys did?
Wow, that's impressive! Not much you can't roll over with those! Actually looks nicely proportional to the rest of the vehicle to my eyes. Who do you have it insured with?
what year and motor is this Patrol? looking at importing an SUV from Japan to Canada and I really would like a hdj81 but yours has me second guessing myself
Hey mate, of course. Stability is sorted by widening track, but fuel consumption is unavoidable. The Patrol on 40s averages 47-49L/100km (5 mpg) combined onroad and offroad.
@@AussieFourWheelers Are shock lengths what's causing the click clacking when your gu flexes? I understand you're running 6" Dob coils & like something like 10-12" shocks... Would it solve these noises to run shorter shocks? Like 8" shocks or something?
It's the reseating of the coils which has been fixed since then. It's nice and smooth now and no noises. Just gotta wait until I use up all the old footage lol
Hector Heath it's 2018 not 1998 ... no one runs a 35 with a foot of space above the tire for "up travel" on a crawler ... take your rig to Wal-Mart to show off your up travel .

Hi, Nice car! May I know how many inch you lifted your car's suspension height? Thank you
Yisrā'el Yaʿakov 8 inch
Wow! Thank you Sir :-)
What a great rig, those tyres are unreal.
It actually looks a lot more stable with the 40's.
Thanks mate 👍 Yeah, heaps stable, glued to ground due to increased offset.
Your patrol is the master of all AFW members
Thanks bud 👍👍👍
Good fun mate, wicked stuff
love your videos!!
Thanks man 👍Glad you low them.
them treps are a wicked tyre!
Yeah 👌
Good man!!!
Thanks man 👍
number one
Thanks *#1* ☺
Bias ply or radials? I know trepador M8060 comes in both.
Awesome rig and awesome videos...
Radials don't have the aggressive side biters. Bias ply come in two types: hard compound or competition (sticky). The ones on the Patrol are stickies.
Yes, they look exactly the same. The hard compound ones last twice longer.
Awesome. Thanks for the response.

Omg Muslim i really love this vid milhtily drop 8‑D
Great video mate! I hope that kid is wearing a seat belt?
What type of differential lock u use??? did you plugged the ARB Differential Lock???
Good driver and vehicle...
Thanks bud. No ARB air "leakers" in this one 😂
What diff gear ratio do you have bro.? Big fan!!
4.6 diffs and 85% reduction transfer.
Wow, that's impressive! Not much you can't roll over with those! Actually looks nicely proportional to the rest of the vehicle to my eyes. Who do you have it insured with?
You're right. The 37s looked a bit small on it. This just looks right.
Are you looking into getting the PSR 5 link front suspension? Would be unstoppable
I would have, but wasn't available when I was building my truck at the time.
good tires ;)
Thanks 👍
Nice. Menai nsw? What roads take me there? I want to go.
It's off the main road. There's only a bit more to go before it's gone due to building works.
Thanks champ :)

This shape sold the TB48 motor 2005-2010.
Best move of the video 11:33
Thanks 👍 thanks for watching.
Hi mate, can you drive on the hi way with the comp treps
great settup you got there
***** You'd know eh!
Wow, you guys are one of a kind. But you're welcome on our channel anyway, we don't delete comments.
Hej, jakie zawieszenie posiadasz w prezentowanym patrolu ?
Mud tires are the best! but they wear out fast :(
When you had the 8 inch lift did you do any trimming??
Yes.
What are the crawler gears like on the road, are the revs simular to a stock patrol?
Crawler gears don't affect HI range, only LO. For HI, you can change diff gears to suit the tyres.
Thanks, I just thought it could affect both.
Красиво
Спасибо
How much did you have to go up to get those bad boys onto it??
8 inches
If i want to fit 40" I need a 8" lift or 6" is enough? 🤔
Hey mate, does the size of the tyres affect the stability and fuel consumption? Cheers
Hey mate, of course. Stability is sorted by widening track, but fuel consumption is unavoidable. The Patrol on 40s averages 47-49L/100km (5 mpg) combined onroad and offroad.
What PSI are you running them at?
On this day, 10 psi.
How tall is your lift bro? 4 inch?
6 inch now
where mud?
Those tires are cheating!
Hey, what suspension do you have in the presented patrol?
Detailed video coming soon. Stay tuned!
What size & brand shocks?
At that time, ran 6" Amada remotes.

Thanks mate 👍
What's the point when you don't have any upwards travel, they just rub.....
Hector Heath i asked if they scrub during tuck & lock to lock steer & he said they don't scrub at all.
+Beven3800 Thanks Beven 👍 that correct.

What load rating are they?
Load Range D
Is it a manual?
Do you have crawler gears?
Yes, crawler gears and auto.
Rear axle A link ?
No, just the standard 5-link setup.
are you going to get a spare?
If only had spare cash.
