We uploaded a full video on the Z-guard system covering sweeps, submissions and positional control. However, it involved zero leglocks. For that purpose we made an entire new video. Here you have it! Enjoy leg locking your partners from Z-guard! If you enjoy this and our other videos, please consider subscribing to our channel (it helps a lot)!

Z guard is my absolute favorite guard position, it feels so comfortable and easy to manage distance from your opponent, your leg lock entries look seemless, you also do a great job at explaining them!

Hi mate. I've seen some of your videos, they are all good and straight to the point. I wonder what is your belt color and how long have you been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ? Recently I rolled with some taller and stronger guys and they made the game really hard for me, would you mind make a series of dealing with taller and stronger opponents ?

@@samuraispirit7247 hey man, thank you! I’m a black belt and I’ve been training for about 11 years now. Both gi and nogi.
If they are just taller I love to go for limb submissions like arm bars and leglocks. For stronger opponents I try to stay active in my guard and keep the game dynamic. It’s really up to the individual. Because it’s hard to explain my best tip would be to make more use of angles and more ‘moving’ positions and try not to fight them in the more static ‘pins’
