Everything is so relatable! You know I told you before we have the same ukulele. I got mine from Guitar Center for my birthday last year. It was 100$, and I think it was 80$ off. We had a friend that plays guitar, keyboards, and a little bit of ukulele. So he hooked me up with a tuner. Once I broke my string, it was the G note string. He hooked me up with the best quality sounding ones to replace it... Well in his opinion, there called Daddario. I broke one string from tightening it too much. But ever since I have not broken a single string.
My husband and I stopped by a guitar shop on labor day and I got a Luna brand soprano ukulele on sale there! It's great! He already had a guitar by them and really enjoyed it.

Just on a whim, i started watching Uke videos today. (a former band mate loves 'em) Yours was the first I watched. It looked like such a fun, easy instrument that I went down to the local GC. Lo and behold, they had that exact Uke on the wall. Played that one and a few more and ended up taking the Luna home. BTW - I'm a working bass player/vocalist so, a new instrument is a nice break from my usual learning/performing thing. Thanks for the intro to Uke! The Luna is a solidly built, quality instrument at a very reasonable price. (I paid $99 with a gig bag)
the first ukulele i ever bought (or ever played) was a black Hamano, soprano. It was like $30 on amazon so i got it to see if i could try to learn it, and i did! I had it for a little over a year and decided to treat myself and upgrade to a new one that was a little better, and it's the same one you have! I've had it for a little over 10 months now. It's a great uke!

I like the straightforwardness and your communication skills. I too have a Luna (Tenor) that I travel with. Ive played guitar for years but Im newish to the Uke. The Luna is one of the better Ukes I have tried. It plays well, good sound, stays in tune, and it is as beautiful as Elise. Keep up the good work kiddo-- you have a great future in video production.

I have both the Makayla shark (same a dolphin) and the luna tattoo ukulele. I realized that the Luna ukulele has a much richer sound. The Makayla one has more of a plastic sound. They are both good but I prefer the Luna! Love your channel xxx
I have a Kala KA-CA and I got it for Christmas it is electric it has a tuner and it is a concert size which is a perfect size for me and it stays in tune for like about a week and a half and it is amazing best present ever.

Because of you I've got an ukulele a month ago though earlier I was hesitating about that a lot due to the bunch of different reasons. But I did it and I have no regrets at all. I bought Stagg US-Ocean Soprano Ukulele and I'm pleased with it. The sound is great, but I have to tune the ukulele every time when I get to practice (once in a day). Also I finally figured out how to position my right hand for strumming. Now I'm trying to understand the whole strumming thing and practice it. And as my first song I picked up Colors by Halsey in your version. So you are the one who inspired me to get an ukulele and start playing on it. Thank you a lot, Elise :)

For a begginer I would try to find a tanglewood uke, they are great for begginer and I got mine for £40 and then also bought a ukulele tuner for £10. Hope this helped!! ❤

This is also available in soprano! It's got a funky shape though (it's not pineapple, it's just a long figure 8? It stretches too long from the sound hole to look normal, to me)

I bought my Luna uke 4 days ago and I've fallen in love with it. It's the first instrument I've learned to play using actual notes, lol. (In school I chose to play the tuba so I wouldn't have to take it home to practice and learn- and then eventually switched to the snare drum, so I never learned how to play). But after 4 days I'm playing songs that I LOVE and quite well. So proud of myself. I wish I'd of watched more videos about the uke's though because I bought the soprano, and think the tenor would've been a MUCH better fit since my fingers are a bit wide.

Just a heads up I bought a makala dolphin uke but it came with a good quality padded case and a tuner. I'm pretty sure it was 60 dollars too so...

I bought my Luna uke 4 days ago and I've fallen in love with it. It's the first instrument I've learned to play using actual notes, lol. (In school I chose to play the tuba so I wouldn't have to take it home to practice and learn- and then eventually switched to the snare drum, so I never learned how to play). But after 4 days I'm playing songs that I LOVE and quite well. So proud of myself.
I wish I'd of watched more videos about the uke's though because I bought the soprano, and think the tenor would've been a MUCH better fit since my fingers are a bit wide.

Hi, still love your videos. I keep coming back to them year after year. Just purchased the Luna Concert Ukelele, however it is the Spruce version. Which wood gives the funkier foot-tapping best tone - the mahogany or the Spruce? Many thanks for your superb videos. Love from Scotland, x
