My boys have a piano teacher who taught them to play by ear. He is awesome. Yes they take notes. My boys now a part of the band at church. Two plays piano and drums, 1 play piano and the bass. They are blessed, gifted and talented. To God be the glory. Thanks for sharing. Anykeymusic.

MY PROBLEM IS stopping and starting; the inconsistency is taking my "come-up" so long. Thank you, Chrystal! But, I've learned so much about myself in the process. Listening to you is one of the things I needed to do to assist my movement forward. My response to your query: "Why I delay and keep stopping off" is FEAR THAT I WON'T GET WHERE I'M TRYING TO GO. I am at baby step 1... getting adequate sleep. Everything else hinges on getting more than 3 hours of sleep. I work nights by choice and am blessed to work from home, but fight my body and the everything else to get enough sleep. The struggle is real. I cannot even get to baby steps - the rest. 😢
