So infuriating how Bridget is angry at Deacon "for everything you did to me" but defending Brooke who is equally as guilty! Bridget is just like the Stans. 🙄
@ And she will! 😆 (Well, the writing of Brooke’s storyline with Nick is quite different and I would say that, although Brooke is not justified to go after her daughter’s husband again, I won’t have sympathy for Bridget as much as I had it for her in the 2002 storyline, because she will put herself in a very tricky situation - she will be advised by Stephanie of Nick’s feelings for Brooke - and she will be let down by her own mother chasing her destiny and keep forgiving her over and over again).
Rick, whining: “You can’t do this! It has to be illegal! A technicality!” Me, rolling my eyes: “How do you think your mother got to be in charge?” Stephanie: “How do you think she got to be in charge?” Me: 😂😂 😂
This is really Stephanie's moment of triumph. The way she orchestrates the whole scene, including rehearsing it with the key actors, telling them when to make an entrance, and giving everyone stage directions, shows her firm grip on the plot. And Brook trying (but faiIing) to regain plot control is made expIicit by her calling another vote, which _doesn't change the outcome._
One of the best parts of Stephanie’s triumph is her coolness throughout today’s scenes. Her perfect composure, her utter sangfroid in the face of Brooke’s increasing shrillness is like a glass of cool water on a hot day. After being forced to watch Stephanie suffer Brooke’s humiliating taunts post Eric leaving Stephanie, it is so utterly satisfying.
Also Annie notice this moment at 6:56. When Stephanie tells Eric, "it's yours again, it's yours" it cuts to Macy looking over at Eric and Stephanie and she seems moved and proud of what she's done. She's not looking at Brooke in that moment of victory. This shows again that restorative justice is very much part of Macy's motivation and that she genuinely believes giving Eric control of his creation again is the right thing to do.
@@NewYorkNick0607yes, you're right! Also, when Bridget questions Deacon's motivations, Macy tells Bridget, "I knew what it would mean to your father - _don't you?"_
Brooke's so desperate. She's always wanted to be a Forrester since 1987, when she started to stalk Caroline and Ridge. That's how it all began with that miserable woman!
Brooke: “This company has been my heart and soul! It’s meant everything to me! On the mornings when I didn’t even want to get out of bed and *felt like I had nothing to live for,* I knew at least I had the company!" Meanwhile, Brooke’s two adult children: *Are standing awkwardly right there.*
I was just about to comment on her saying the “company is the 1 constant in her life”…in front of her kids who support her no matter what. I would say poor them but they deserve that.
Also wondering when that ever happened. It's something that would have made sense if Sally said it because for her, the company really has been her lifeline. But the last time Brooke was feeling down, she took an indefinite leave of absence.
Did Eric give them anything? Brooke did and even gave her adopted grand kid and Stephanie used it against her bec she is still not over the fact Eric left her for not wanting to be w her and not bec of Brooke. Deacon is filthy as always Ridge is a loser as always
Bridget going off on Deacon for what he did to her (fair, although he apologized and suffered more than Brooke) when the mother who truly betrayed her is *right there* and suffered nothing for it is . . .frustrating to say the least. And yet another example of how the show becomes inconsistent in its constant pursuit of whitewashing Brooke.
The arrogance of brooke "this is my company" and then the arrogance of ridge for putting brooke at the head of spectra fashion and renaming it logan creation. This is why 2025 he doesnt have forrester creation and his daughter Steffy wil have to do the heavy lifting to get it back and will be the only one in charge when she kick katie, brooke, hopeless and backstaber carter.

I cracked up when Sally called Masismo to gossip about the takeover. Even _they_ knew about Stephanie's plan before Eric! 😂🤣
Half the boardroom are her exes just like half the wedding party are her exes every time she gets married. 🤭😂

Brooke didn't use every tool at her disposal. If she'd offered Eric another turn with her, he would've gladly given up the CEO position.
