When mine were using them, I would either wash it in the dishwasher. If you do not have a dish washer, just washing it in the washing machine will work. I preferred the dishwasher and when it was done, I would give a second rinse under the tap before placing it in the freezer to allow the finer to freeze to help cool their tender little gums down as they chewed on it.
