Even then, a lot of reviewers these days are panderers. Objectively, Star Wars Outlaws as an example is NOT a terrible game by nature, neither is Dragon Age: The Veilguard. In fact, as a long time fan of the DA series (read all the books), 2 and Inquision back in the day were just as divisive games. Over a decade later, they are considered to be masterpieces. Both DA Veil-guard and Outlaws aren’t masterpieces, but are still good games, but get panned as flops. Crows on a wire mentality is as strong as it ever was/is.
Skill up- I actually disagree with him sometimes, but he lays out clear, and various examples of what he’s talking about that that I have a clear idea of whether I'll like the game or not. I also really like how reviews games and expresses himself. He's not afraid to go against the majority opinion if he likes something, or dislikes it. He's had huge backlashes on certain games from toxic fans, but over time more have come round to his opinion. That's why he's still so successful.
Metaciritc + Opencritic seems good to me. If you were to find a reviewer with similar taste it'll be biased and more so the longer you stay in that template.
I'm convinced Epic must have bribed companies into using UE5, games like Satisfactory have had nothing but bugs with no useful features added by switching from UE4 to UE5 shortly before release.

Yes, you can. But I am pretty sure that the change will allow you to stream your games from the cloud which no longer requires you to leave your console on because it is no longer accessing the game directly from your personal system. At least that is how I understand it.

I frequently use slickdeals to find gaming and pc deals. A few years ago, I bought into one heck of a deal for Xbox Gamepass Ultimate. I can count on one hand the number of games I've played on Xbox console or Xbox PC. Most of my time is spent playing Steam games on my pc or steamdeck and PS exclusives on the PS5. Switch hasn't been powered on this year and the Xbox hasn't been powered on since the Resident Evil 4 Remake came out. Game subscriptions are not for people that have full time jobs and a spouse. Maybe I would use it more if I had kids to play with.

In other words, the worst of all gamers with all the hypocrisy in the world and not a shred of self-awareness. Is your grandma more tech literate than someone like TronicsFix because she owns a 2007 office PC? Real gamers play tons of games, they don't stare at benchmarks, backlogs, try to justify their purchase, complain online all day, or best of all, call other people fake gamers.

I’ve been playing Stalker on XBOX S and it’s been fine with a couple weird things. One, the text on screen that pops up for like tutorial things, like press this to do this, the text is so small I can’t read it. And I also have this weird stick drift that pushes my view in game slowly up. I know my controller is not the problem cuz it doesn’t do that in any other game. But other than that I’m enjoying it. Oh and Persona 3&4 on sale for $20?! Awesome, I wish I could get physical editions that aren’t a rip off.
Regarding Xbox streaming, I stream from my Xbox console to my rog ally x all the time and it runs great and it’s simple to do (just one button on the Xbox app). I mostly do this to run open world games that run a little rough on the ally. Doing this improves battery life and I get my Xbox achievements.

8- Enemy AI is great, but one of the enemies has a cheap and annoying unblockable attack, game difficulty is very fair and adjusts difficulty as you go, friendly NPC got stuck in the wall and kept gettin’ hit without defendin’ themselves
10- feature complete game with quality content for $40
10- iconic main character that hits the zeitgeist in a big way, memorable enemies and bosses that will get fan-arted for years to come
7- game runs a little longer than necessary, best items/collectibles come in groups from NG+ with vague descriptions of where to find them
Overall score: 74/90 or 82%.
@@mcfresh4913 - Like I told McFresh, my method is far from perfect and could definitely be edified where necessary. I’m open to suggestions.
Metacritic is irrelevant at this point. If you need a review for a game, find a reviewer that has a similar taste in games as you do.
Dunkey
Even then that isn't a sure shot because most of them are playing into the console wars for clicks
I’m so getting the portal this holiday. Especially with that update sweet. I hope they use the portal as a base for their next PSP. 😅😂
Did anybody catch Sega's "flash sale"? As soon as Nintendo's cyber deals went live Sonic x Shadow Generations was discounted for about 8 hours.
man dedication even when you are feeling under the weather. Respect.
Sounds like you have caught a cold. If so I hope you get better soon.
Haha the weather up there sounds like here in Texas where some days you can experience all four seasons in 24 hours at times. Get well dude!
The Pulse Elite is a must buy
The npc getting stuck in the door way that doesn’t move has happened to me in the first stalker game, so that doesn’t surprise me.
Man he sounds sick, Thanks for keeping us in the loop. Even when you are sick.
Get well soon friend
Hope you feel better soon dude.
I'm convinced Epic must have bribed companies into using UE5, games like Satisfactory have had nothing but bugs with no useful features added by switching from UE4 to UE5 shortly before release.
Prince of Persia the Lost Crown is currently $20.00 on the Eshop and the physical version of One Piece Odyssey on the Switch is $29.00.
I grabbed the physical copy of PoP:LC for $5.00 clearance at Walmart. I found another Walmart that had it down to $10.00 clearance. The lowest sale price is $17~~ so it's currently staying cheaper as a physical release than digital.
@ Nice! What do you think of it? I have the physical Switch version from launch and love it. This is why physical should stay so the customers have options.
@@ronniefazzio6979 Well, I'm not going to be playing for a bit... 😅 It found it's way to my nephew to "buy" and eventually wrap to gift it to me for Christmas.
(He even paid the $5.00 cost for the game from his allowance, which I wasn't expecting my brother to let him do that. He was given a short list of items he could buy for me @$5, and obviously picked the video game. 😁 He's only 8 years old.)
@ That’s actually really wholesome. Well your nephew sounds like a nice little guy. I hope you have fun wherever you play it 👌🏻
The fact that y'all think 50-40 is a deal on here and others company games are like 29-20 is wild Nintendo never go below 40 on the main games
The Portal is an excellent device. Very underrated
I’d love to have a PSVR 2 but being tethered, having to buy the box to make it pc compatible, and lack of games takes me out. Especially when the meta quest 3 is way cheaper and about the same price when the psvr 2 is 40% off..
Would love to see you test the portal after all the updates to see if the connection and latency problems have been improved
I like how all you fools finally shut up about "nintendo announcing switch 2 any minute now" when they obviously weren't going to announce that right before the holidays and totally kill their holiday sales.
Sony Pulse Elite are awesome and definitely get a set of Wicked cushions. Sound is awesome and you can connect to multiple devices.
The Playstation portal is exactly the same thing as the Wii U tablet
So 8 bit/16 bit games cannot be played on Xbox One S but can on Switch? See FF Remaster Collection and Wrath Of Cobra. I'll opt for Switch here on out.
A combination of garlic and ginger should help soothe your throat. Feel better. 🙏🏾
Just upgraded to ps+ extra 3 days ago sadly before I knew it could go on sale
pulse elite headset is great
I have a pulse elite headset. I don't recommend it as it has a cheap build quality. I got 3 months of use before the plastic snapped around the top of the ear on the right side. The sound and mic quality were nice, but not enough to only get 3 months of use
Keep up the good work. And the healing. Thanks man.
Stalker 2 has been incredible so far.
Stop the cap,it's janky and broken as fack bro
@ProjectEve-xxx did you get today's 135GB patch?......
It ass
Get better my chief
I always watch you like it are news before work at 5pm 😅
Here in texas, we swing from 30s to 70s in one day 😂
How it is in Dallas right now
I've seen people streaming Stalker and it's working fine.
It's almost like Critics don't mind lying to you
@RubyRose23328 There was a patch on the day of release of the size of the whole game. I think a lot got fixed because of that.
@@LogicalError007Critics know how this work yet still insist on day one reviews. They have themselves to blame
@RubyRose23328 I think the blame also lies on the developer.
If they think that the game is not in a good state, they should've waited to send reviewers the copies on the day of release and the patch.
@@LogicalError007don't forget Jon was playing yesterday & there has been a 135gb patch since
Where is the Fricking disc drive
I have the pulse explore earbuds. Have had them since launch. They’re solid, sound great, mic is good. Not sure they’re worth $200 so a discounted priced may be more worth.
Manage to get a Switch Oled with Mario Wonder, 1 year of Nintendo Network and Shin Megami Tensei V for 269 Euros, just the Oled version was going for 345 Euros all year.
The pluse elite headset works good. Seems if the link adapter gets to hot it disconnects. I had mine plugged into the back of my day 1 ps5 and aftwr few hours it would disconnect.
Im more interested in you covering the os portal new update
Being able to cloud stream on the portal is a game changer, now I feel like I can really recommend it to people.
I just want a disc drive for retail 🤦♂️😩
80% of sales being digital means it's not priority any more
I do not lol. I have only used digital for the last 10 years
I use the Sony in zone H9 headset for ps5 gaming and it’s really good. Also have pulse earbuds. Decent for earbuds but cost too much for what they are. Would only purchase if they go on good sale.
Haven't we been able to stream owned games direct from the Series X?
Yes, you can. But I am pretty sure that the change will allow you to stream your games from the cloud which no longer requires you to leave your console on because it is no longer accessing the game directly from your personal system. At least that is how I understand it.
The duel sense controller in 70 CAD ryt now should I take it ?
Bro has been eating Factor TV dinners for a year and gets sick every other month now
Just reaffirming I’m never going out on Black Friday again
I thought the GTA Trilogy update wasnt pushed to switch xb1 and ps4?
Can you buy more ps plus if you already have it? Mine ends in 40ish days so can I buy it digitally from this sale
Yes, they stack. I only buy when it’s on sale.
I want a PS5 slim because the Pro doesn’t have a disc drive and it’s way too expensive on top of that. How long do we have until they stop making the PS5 slim disc drive edition ?
Sony inzone ear buds > pulse ear buds. Inzones have noise cancelling and further blue tooth distance reach than pulse.
I don't have the time to justify a subscription to FFXIV. A free to play version might suit me much better.
For me I'm doing everything Amazon Sales I'm getting elden ring for $20 bucks on Amazon!! Finally i get to play it
Just picked up FFVII Rebirth for 40$ at Best Buy, Been wanting to play it for awhile but never got around to it. Couldn't resist the price.
Nice deals all around.
I knew Kadokawa not as the owner of FromSoftware (that was news to me) but as a major publisher of books.
I have the pulse elite earbuds. The sound is pretty good. I would say if you have issues with earbuds with the silicon tips I would avoid them.
Your voice is sounding MUCH better :) - I hope you're in Tip-Top shape soon :)
Checking weather on the wii > checking weather on your phone
Wait, I thought the GTA patch didnt apply to the switch. Did the switch version actually get improved?
For freedom of speech
Sony needs to stay off Kadokawa group
Yeah but unfortunately it seems to be happening.
You dont buy consoles for graphics. PS5 Pro is at best mid-range 2018 PC gaming.
Okay, PC fan boy.
@@Adamtendo_player_1 No such thing as a PC fan boy.... simply common sense. Okay tech illiterate console gamer.
@@Kubush1 Sure there are. People who worship every little thing Valve/Steam do, ignore their terrible precedents they've set, ignore the terrible state of PC port optimization for the last several years, act like console players are more irrational compared to themselves glazing what they literally call 'Team Red' and 'Team Green' over completely objective metrics, act like several thousand dollar PCs are the norm that all devs and players should catch up and hold themselves to (I wonder who would do something like that, hmmm), and most laughably, those who ignore regular gamers because of the literal machine they're playing on while also saying they're above the console war. In other words, the worst of all gamers with all the hypocrisy in the world and not a shred of self-awareness. Is your grandma more tech literate than someone like TronicsFix because she owns a 2007 office PC? Do you ever notice that it's always Steam users complaining about thousand-game backlogs while playing the same 3 old games constantly while console players have that issue far less? Grow up. Real gamers play tons of games, they don't stare at benchmarks, backlogs, try to justify their purchase, complain online all day, or best of all, call other people fake gamers.
Mark of the ninja remastered... i cant tell people enough how good this game is. Its 5 dollars.
People... its one of the best sidescrollers ive ever played. Its marvelous.
Get it. I cannot recommend it more.
i had what i think is the same head cold. It took me around a week to get over it.
I like these more chill vibes for the show.
I bought Yooka Laylee and the impossible lair for like $2 on the Switch eshop. Super fun game
Pavlov is the only VR game you need really any old map from halo cod CS WWII WWI Rev War its all fun.
Im at work still thibking about stalker 2 . I already have 7 hours in and i love it
