Carmen didn't want to be with Johnny, and Johnny didn't want to be with Diz. And frankly, he didn't deserve either one of them. Great reaction! :) While in the Navy we got a new Division Chief that introduced us to an initiation to welcome new people to our group, It is called giving someone a "pink belly", when a new arrival walks into the shop the chief will start "stirring the pot" and we would push everything out of the way to clear a large area around the person and then we all tackle them and pull up the shirt and everyone starts slapping them on the belly till it is nice and pink. it did not end there, while deployed there is a time right before getting home relatives can come on board the ship and the chief brought his older son in to the shop and introduced his son and gives a long look then left the shop and closed the hatch so we grabbed his son and initiated him into the line shack. nope not done yet :) someone asked the chief why we can't grab him and he pointed to the two anchors on his collar. months later he got cocky with another person and tucked his collar in aaaand yes, we grabbed him and finally gave him a pink belly.

There's a lot of commentary you can find on this movie and the novel it's based on in terms of how it explores militarism and how the youth get drafted into wars and die on the battlefield because some old politician somewhere wants to get some foreign land. The movie is very heavy with propaganda and heavy with Nazi overtones. It's meant to make you celebrate on the surface level but then start asking deeper questions the more you start to think about it.
The book is nothing like this. All the old men in the book are soldiers themselves who fight in the war (Sky Marshal Diens in the book died on Klendathu fighting alongside the troops). There is no Nazi propaganda in the book, and none in the movie except for Carl’s uniform. Y’all need to try actually reading books before just making shit up about what’s in them. Either way, if you're in a small structure alone and you're not the sharpest tool in that enclosure...well, "tool" is probably an accurate adjective. I know that reading is not all that fashionable these days. But you have to read Heinlein's 1959 novel. It goes into great detail about the future society and the war with the arachnids.
"Reading is not all that fashionable these days." Truer words never spoken. Neither is thinking. People are slowly forfeiting their ability to think for themselves to computers.
Funny you mention the Power Ranger pose because the armor used in Starship Troopers was used in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy in which the main enemy was a bug.
Actually the movie shows that the humans were at peace with the Bugs until the Bugs attacked them. The Bug society is even more military-themed than the human one. Go watch the movie again, this time listen to the blind biology teacher explain how the Bugs are totalitarian and militarist, without even having voting to redeem them.
Great reaction as always! Enjoyed it as always! Your psychic attempt to get me to subscribe almost worked. Then I realized I was already subscribed. Hahaha! Only 23 times those are rookie number! We go to get those numbers up trooper! For the Federation!!!
I know what parts of the VHS were worn out.
You may like Starship Troopers II. Two other good human vs alien movies are, "Cowboys & Aliens" and "Battle: Los Angeles." Cowboys & Aliens has a little of everything in it and is good fun.
Thanks for the suggestions
Yes. 😊 Wanted to see your reaction.👍
Hope you enjoyed it
Had they looked out of the window and seen it, they wouldn't have lost the radio, could've warned earth, no one would've died, wouldn't have gone to war....
They were a second to slow and should've done it sooner.
Good one, Biss!
hell yea! Do your part troopers!
You heard it here folks, Bissflix is a parkour master! 😂❤
Never in the history of watching reactors watching THIS MOVIE!!............
Have I seen one of the cast compared to a bag of CAPRI SUN!!!....I fell outta my chair almost I was laughing so hard at that!!!!........🎉😂❤....Never change Bis.....Never change
Another great reaction, Biss. Chalk up another trite puking sequence. You may not have noticed that Michael Ironside (Mr. Rasczak) also played a role in the movie Nobody (2021) which you recently watched. He portrayed the father-in-law and boss of Hutch Mansell, the main protagonist. Always the best. 🎉☺
I know that reading is not all that fashionable these days. But you have to read Heinlein's 1959 novel. It goes into great detail about the future society and the war with the arachnids.
"Reading is not all that fashionable these days." Truer words never spoken. Neither is thinking. People are slowly forfeiting their
ability to think for themselves to computers.
This was a great reaction biss!!!!
Funny you mention the Power Ranger pose because the armor used in Starship Troopers was used in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy in which the main enemy was a bug.
Oh?
35:00 That’s a TW 202-L Morita Hawkeye, the standard rifle for Designated Marksmen in the Mobile Infantry.
I see
Oh, this is going to be fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
My friend was an extra when they were celebrating the smart bug capture. Hat tip to Wyoming.
Oh nice
Hey Bisscute👋😃 Thanks for the reaction❤
this onna my fav movies...just brilliant
The bugs from the three Starship Troopers movies remembers me every time on the seven Tremors movies...
This movie cured me of all the king crab legs and lobsters at the local Asian buffet.
Hahaha
I agree, they did a good job portraying the sheep
I mean we watched this when it was released and this was one of the best! Cult classic movie for sure! Good reaction Biss
I love this movie and this is the best reaction I’ve seen to it. Lots of fun
Thank youuu
I love your shirt!
Thank youuu

lovely Biss......
that thought made my day....
That blonde pilot friend of Carmen who rode next to her in the small ship at around 15:18 is also the girlfriend from Crank with Jason Statham.
I love this movie. literally my most watched.
The captain of the show is "pilot" from captain power and the soldiers of the future!
The whole promise is that humans attacked the bugs to explain their military based society.
Hahaha!
You send the infantry in after you bombard the battle field because you need the infantry to root out the enemy, take and hold the ground.
Your Capri Sun example was hi-larry-us! Made me LOL!
It was a good movie. The book was so much better. I would recommend the read.
