Didn't expect to get more of Millie's backstory, but I am so happy we did! Even with her best friend being the reason they're going to be dead broke, she realizes its a cry for help and shows him why she's still around working for him. beautiful, wacky, heart wrenching, and everything else you would want in an episode.
This episode is peak subversion of expectations imo. At first you think it will be a fun, comedy driven episode but it's just so emotional and even dark/twisted !
Bitz having to see how his Mom burn's away in front of him while he was crying in tears hurt a lot. Especially with the eye popping out and seeing her skeleton...Anyways Happy Halloween 🎃 😈
Someone pointed this and its cool that every version of milie that we saw are what if scenarios based of the past episodes. Most of those missions were almost a disaster and blitz sees himself as the one that almost caused the death of millie many times.
I'm not sure where I heard this, but I recall Leviathan being referred to as the lord of ghosts and phantasms. It would make sense that demons that posses/infest people and places come from his domain.

Lucifer is the King of Hell, Charlie is the Princess heir to Hell, Beelzebub is Queen, and so on. We also know from Bee that Belphegor is female, so the only one left that we've yet to actually hear of is Leviathan.

Honestly Millie seems to be the only one of the group that doesn't have an emotionally scaring backstory, and she's also the most viciously violent baserker of them all.
I feel its refreshing to have a character whose motivation is not coming from some form of horrific trauma. Even though there are clearly deep-rooted insecurities she has from prejudice and growing up in a tight-on-money (though loving) household. "This is as good as it gets, focus on work and survival" mindset.
I don't think the thing Blitz holds in the flashback is his mother's eye: it seems to be the skull pendant he wears which his mother is also shown to have worn.
I loved this episode! It was nice to finally get some Millie lore that makes her feel like she existed before the show. Like she's a real person with a history and not just Moxxie's strong girlboss wife who poofed into existence just to be that and nothing else. Its also great to see how she met Blitzo and Moxxie in the same episode as well.
Initial thoughts: *Getting more development for Blitz and Millie’s relationship was great, and it helped Blitz confront his demons *John Waters was a fantastic guest star *Good balance of humor and emotional weight *Loona and Millie get another scene together and it’s really sweet *Loona taking care of Moxxie at the end is endearing, given how badly the two normally get on with each other.
It was very interesting to see Blitz and Millie go on an assignment together! And I agreed with Millie, Blitz really needed it because he hit a certain level of rock bottom. At least to me he did. And I especially love that we finally got to see how Blitz and Millie first met, The fight scene in the flashback was totally badass! And the chase scene instantly became one of my favorite parts of the episode, Even when they did the door to door part! But anyway, As usual Viv you and your team did an absolutely outstanding job bringing this episode to life! Truly masterful work and a very Happy Halloween to you all!!!

I was worried about how they would continue after apology tour I'm glad they didn't just move on and Blitz is still dealing with the the fallout and still making small but noticable improvements

Yes, Envy is probably the worst trait included in deadly sins. Wanting something that someone else has is not necessarily that. You can work to get something, it's not evil. Envy is when you are eager to take it from that person or make them lose it, to bring them down to your level.

I kinda love how millie fight's possessed blitz at the beginning she's just confused and on her defense and she can stop him BECAUSE she's the muscle, she is by far the toughest girl in I.M.P but also believes in blitz and doesn't hurt him TOO bad its amazing
My fucking heart ripped in half when I saw Blitzø grabbing his mother's pendant and then immediately being hit by his father. Which also looked to be a pretty hard one too.
Rolando being tasked to break people emotionally changes how I look at Glitz and Glam. I thought them trash talking Fizz was typical showbiz. Maybe it's in the very nature of Envy demons to chip away at others' self-worth?
Still can‘t believe how EVERY single episode increases in excitement and potential as time progresses- Brandon did the best at showing Blitzø's true and honest feelings starting from a lie at times and resting in certain heartbreaking flashbacks. That breakdown Blitz had was actually heartbreaking. Especially that scene with his mom... GOD!
I like how this episode had all the different scary movies star in this episode such as, Scooby Doo, clockwork orange, black phone, welma, etc. Great references for Halloween!!

I think one important lore detail the Infestor demon of this episode put at the center is that Imps and Hellhounds are lower in the hierarchy because they are the weakest demon kinds, who rely mostly on personal strenght and guns., while other demons possess magical abilities or are naturally much stronger. What allow Imps and Hellhounds to survive is that the enviroments of both Wrath and Gluttony are the wildest of all Hell, forcing these demons to grow their strenght through hardship and a major sense of community the other Rings, by being basically comprised of big cities, lack.
if you ever note it, it also means that if purgatory or limbo exist, IMP doesn't know about it (perhaps with hell in general), or they don't take human souls at all.
Probably not. Hellborn demons don't have souls, and since they live in hell,they probably assume that heaven and hell are the only afterlives. For all we know,other afterlives could also exist.

Okay we know Ozy sends demons like succubus to incite lust. But the ring of Envy seems more sinister. We have not seen much of Leviathan or the ring of envy but the little we see is possession, energy feeding and even killing humans seems to be the desire result. How does the rest of the sins and high demons veiw the envy ring? Does Leviathan want more then a place in hell?
This episode definitely shows hells heirarchy isnt for nothing. It shows just how outclassed imps in generally are compared to other higher ranked demons. An Infestor demon is on a completely different level compared to what I.M.P usually fights and Ronaldo gave Blitz and Millie who are both high skilled and among the top imp assassins their biggest challenge yet. The scary thing is Ronaldo is still outclassed by sinner demons and Sir Pentious and especially Alastor are even stronger then he is. Then you have Stolas and Ars Goetia who are even stronger than Alastor.
I don't necessarily believe Heaven is "extremely difficult" to get into, and if it appears that way, it's less to do with Heaven having near-impossible standards and more to do with Earth in the Helliverse just not having any middle ground (I'm pretty sure cannibalism is still exceedingly rare in the real world). But I do believe the six of the seven royals (minus Lucifer, who doesn't seem to care either way) are invested in making sure the influx of souls into Hell is, at a minimum, continuous. Though I don't think it has anything to do with increasing Hell's power in any way since all three of the royals we've seen so far (Asmodeus, Mammon and Beelzebub) are all investing the entirety of their time into their own businesses with others in Hell. I honestly think their interest in corrupting souls begins and ends at keeping the Pride Ring populated with sinner demons. Maybe because sinner demons are more powerful or their souls more valuable, or maybe just to offset the losses suffered after every extermination so they can continue to use the Pride Ring and its sinner demons as a buffer between Heaven and the rest of Hell. And, while this is still important enough for demons to actually do it, it's something the Princes have, at best, completely subcontracted out to independents. I think it's worth noting what Blitzo and Millie say about the infestor demon after they kill him: Nothing. They don't have anything to say about the possible moral implications about having killed another demon on Earth, nor do they express concerns about the possible repercussions of them having shut down a "recruitment center" as they did. They just forgot about him no different from any of the mafia thugs they've dispatched over the years, and the only notice that will be taken by any higher powers will be over the fact that he stopped collecting commissions.
This episode was a lot like the new amazing digital circus episode. Its almost like two takes on the same story. I mean they're both set in very similar locations, have similar setup in the story, both the main characters get possessed at basically the same time and both have the message of acknowledging and appreciating the people you have in your life. Could you maybe do a deepdive on the similarities in these series for it, i’d give my kidney for it.
One of my favorite things about this episode is the backstory between Blitz and Millie plus seeing these two bond in this episode is really adorable! Also I wonder how Rolando got to Earth in the first place since he's from the Envy Ring and why he's killing his victims at a hotel in the living world. Although I bet everyone is happy that Millie has gotten the character development she needed which makes people love her even more! Also the ending between Moxxie and Loona is cute.🤩🤔☺️💕
These native demons of hell appear usually throughout the series: we have imps, hellhounds, incubi, succubi, baphomets, loan sharks, and now, possessors. This list continues to evolve.
When Millie says in a ring like this or something it made me think now I don't know if it has been brought up yet but Pride seems like a new York inspired city which means Rath is old western Texas Gluttony is California lust is Vegas Greed is jersey and the others I can't quite match
IMO, Pride is more like Detroit or Chicago than New York. Envy could very much be like pop cultural depictions of Hollywood only underwater. Sloth appears to evokes the serenity and tranquillity of a Japanese garden.
This episode was great. However I think it's going to lead to massive consequences. An imp, using an asmodean crystal (which puts him under the jurisdiction of Asmodeus), killed an infestor demon on Earth, presumably there on orders of Leviathan. This is probably the event that will cause the Goetia to take notice of I.M.P.
Ironically some that have not only seen the current episodes but read the fanfic hazbin hotel a journey to the light already sense some big implications are coming.
Not sure if it matters any, but the idea that Infestor Demons like Rolando here may all be designed after what I can only assume to be Moray Eels given the jagged teeth, fin combover, and serpentine facial shape is just REALLY unsettling. I guess in some aspects eels are the snakes of the sea, and we all know about snakes in biblical mythology, so it would make sense for them to take on an eel like appearance.
So let me something that I first got when watching this straight : Demons = pleasure Ghosts = pain (Also this is more of a cool fanfiction idea: what if purgatory might be involved with the pain and trauma of ghosts?) This is the just the first words that popped into my head at the time so if I'm let me know, please.
Its seems to me that those are deaths that could have befallen Millie at various points in the show, the golden arrows from the cherubs crossbow drowned in water by crimson, burned up at loo loo land,etc.

If that memory is true, then it means either that wasn't her eye but her ornament as blitz is wearing it, or that is her eye and blitz is wearing the burned up eye of his mother.
Something I thought about while I was working is that this infestor demon was probably working legally on Earth, killing humans for Leviathan himself. Maybe this is why IMP ends up getting hunted in the trailer.

The infester demon sounds like a Poltergeist. Ghosts are spirits of people who have died but for whatever reason are tied to the Earth and can’t find the ability to cross over. Poltergeists are spirits caused by living energy.
Those Injured Millies in Blitz's Hallucination look like reminders of what could have happened to her in the first 5 Episodes. Murder Family - Glass In Eye, Bound, Loo Loo Land - Scarred, Hellfire, Spring Broken - Drowned, CHERUB - Holy Arrows, Harvest Moon - Holding Arm, damaged Leg. And this episode may have given IMP a clashing with Leviathan as I'm betting what the Infestor was doing was part of his assigned work for his Sin, which might lead to that one bit where IMP is being chased by those Hooded Figures.
i think infesters and possessors are different, just on design alone the infester appear to be the shiny silver eel demons, while our only known possessor is half shark but doesn't have any of the eels features, rather she looks more similar to the angler fish demons
In the memory flashes (real) it's meant to LOOK like her eye, so that we make the connection between the memory, and how the hallucination manifested, but it is in fact showing us how he got her pendant. It's the pendant, turned on its side
I wonder what would happen if an infestor did or tried the trauma mind trick in a sinner. Would it affect any sinner? Are sinners immune? Would a sinner have to be very messed up in the head or mentally strong to resist the mental control of the infestor? Could the memories be so vile that the infestor himself would just give up and beg to get off the mind he is possessing? How long would an infestor last in the mind of Alastor if they tried the trick? There are so many possibilites, but they might go to waste if more infestors do not appear in Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel.
With how Hazbin has been like with the angels not even knowing what one has to do to get into heaven, it's possible that one doesn't even have to sin to go to hell but just a misconception both sides have. It's possible that in the Helluverse, Hell is actually a purgatory of both good and bad people who have unfinished business intermingled with the naturally born hellspawn.
Hey Cartoon Universe, I have a request and idea for you might be interested in. What if you make a video discussing about possible moxxie having breaking point with Blitzo because blitz has been teasing alot lately and I think the next episode Mastermind where Moxxie says, I fucking hate you so much, Blitz. It sounds like Moxxie sounds tired blitz reckless behavior and teasing him all the time. So it just idea and concept theory that be interested in because I would like to see how moxxie snaps at blitz and learn he doesn't need approval from bltiz to be great assassin also would be a great sign of character development to show what a great character moxxie is. Also Ghostfuckers was a Awesome episode.
4:45 he didn't pick up her eye, he picked up her necklace pendant, which seemed important to her and is all he has of her now. In the childhood photo of Blitz and his sister with their mom, she is wearing that same pendant necklace that he picked up and has worn throughout the entire series. Even in the hallucination scene where he catches her eye, he isn't trying to catch it, he lets it roll off his hand while grabbing at her disintegrating form. Poor dude's been through the shitter regardless
In my school vr game Infestors are in the game as part of the ring Levthiathen is in and are part of the Astro Toilet threat (confirmation is there introduction where a mafia mutant Skibidi toilet is held down by a specialist Astro Toilet and a Infestor enters it) and it pretty easy to notice due to the distorted voice and glitched movement (The distorted voice is due to the hosts resistance and 🎉glitched movement is the infestor almost taking control)
The infestor in this episode also looks suspiciously similar to the Von Eldritch's from Hazbin Hotel's pilot (in a picture standing next to Charlie and her family). This could be why he has so many powers as it seems that the higher one is in Hell's caste system, the more powers they have, and the Von Eldritchs seem to be a part of Hell's aristocracy.
I don’t know why people are referring to this guy as just “the possessor demon” the closed captions and the credits of the episode confirm that the character is called “Rolando”
I think it’s worth noting that in an interview, Viv said that what gets people into heaven is more subjective. Being religious or free of sin doesn’t necessarily guarantee a person can get into heaven.

My fucking heart ripped in half when I saw Blitzø grabbing his mother's pendant and then immediately being hit by his father. Which also looked to be a pretty hard one too.
Rolando being tasked to break people emotionally changes how I look at Glitz and Glam. I thought them trash talking Fizz was typical showbiz. Maybe it's in the very nature of Envy demons to chip away at others' self-worth?
Still can‘t believe how EVERY single episode increases in excitement and potential as time progresses- Brandon did the best at showing Blitzø's true and honest feelings starting from a lie at times and resting in certain heartbreaking flashbacks. That breakdown Blitz had was actually heartbreaking. Especially that scene with his mom... GOD!
I like how this episode had all the different scary movies star in this episode such as, Scooby Doo, clockwork orange, black phone, welma, etc. Great references for Halloween!!

In episode 1 she got hit with a bottle and tied to a steak to be burned, here, she has rope around her hands and glass in her eyes

I think one important lore detail the Infestor demon of this episode put at the center is that Imps and Hellhounds are lower in the hierarchy because they are the weakest demon kinds, who rely mostly on personal strenght and guns., while other demons possess magical abilities or are naturally much stronger.
What allow Imps and Hellhounds to survive is that the enviroments of both Wrath and Gluttony are the wildest of all Hell, forcing these demons to grow their strenght through hardship and a major sense of community the other Rings, by being basically comprised of big cities, lack.
They can also hybridise with other demon types. Blitzø is part succubus.

Probably not. Hellborn demons don't have souls, and since they live in hell,they probably assume that heaven and hell are the only afterlives. For all we know,other afterlives could also exist.

Okay we know Ozy sends demons like succubus to incite lust. But the ring of Envy seems more sinister. We have not seen much of Leviathan or the ring of envy but the little we see is possession, energy feeding and even killing humans seems to be the desire result. How does the rest of the sins and high demons veiw the envy ring? Does Leviathan want more then a place in hell?
This episode definitely shows hells heirarchy isnt for nothing. It shows just how outclassed imps in generally are compared to other higher ranked demons. An Infestor demon is on a completely different level compared to what I.M.P usually fights and Ronaldo gave Blitz and Millie who are both high skilled and among the top imp assassins their biggest challenge yet. The scary thing is Ronaldo is still outclassed by sinner demons and Sir Pentious and especially Alastor are even stronger then he is. Then you have Stolas and Ars Goetia who are even stronger than Alastor.
I don't necessarily believe Heaven is "extremely difficult" to get into, and if it appears that way, it's less to do with Heaven having near-impossible standards and more to do with Earth in the Helliverse just not having any middle ground (I'm pretty sure cannibalism is still exceedingly rare in the real world).
But I do believe the six of the seven royals (minus Lucifer, who doesn't seem to care either way) are invested in making sure the influx of souls into Hell is, at a minimum, continuous. Though I don't think it has anything to do with increasing Hell's power in any way since all three of the royals we've seen so far (Asmodeus, Mammon and Beelzebub) are all investing the entirety of their time into their own businesses with others in Hell.
I honestly think their interest in corrupting souls begins and ends at keeping the Pride Ring populated with sinner demons. Maybe because sinner demons are more powerful or their souls more valuable, or maybe just to offset the losses suffered after every extermination so they can continue to use the Pride Ring and its sinner demons as a buffer between Heaven and the rest of Hell.
And, while this is still important enough for demons to actually do it, it's something the Princes have, at best, completely subcontracted out to independents. I think it's worth noting what Blitzo and Millie say about the infestor demon after they kill him: Nothing. They don't have anything to say about the possible moral implications about having killed another demon on Earth, nor do they express concerns about the possible repercussions of them having shut down a "recruitment center" as they did. They just forgot about him no different from any of the mafia thugs they've dispatched over the years, and the only notice that will be taken by any higher powers will be over the fact that he stopped collecting commissions.
This episode was a lot like the new amazing digital circus episode. Its almost like two takes on the same story. I mean they're both set in very similar locations, have similar setup in the story, both the main characters get possessed at basically the same time and both have the message of acknowledging and appreciating the people you have in your life. Could you maybe do a deepdive on the similarities in these series for it, i’d give my kidney for it.

One of my favorite things about this episode is the backstory between Blitz and Millie plus seeing these two bond in this episode is really adorable! Also I wonder how Rolando got to Earth in the first place since he's from the Envy Ring and why he's killing his victims at a hotel in the living world. Although I bet everyone is happy that Millie has gotten the character development she needed which makes people love her even more! Also the ending between Moxxie and Loona is cute.🤩🤔☺️💕
These native demons of hell appear usually throughout the series: we have imps, hellhounds, incubi, succubi, baphomets, loan sharks, and now, possessors. This list continues to evolve.
We now know the native demon species of every ring.
When Millie says in a ring like this or something it made me think now I don't know if it has been brought up yet but Pride seems like a new York inspired city which means Rath is old western Texas Gluttony is California lust is Vegas Greed is jersey and the others I can't quite match
IMO, Pride is more like Detroit or Chicago than New York. Envy could very much be like pop cultural depictions of Hollywood only underwater. Sloth appears to evokes the serenity and tranquillity of a Japanese garden.

This episode was great. However I think it's going to lead to massive consequences. An imp, using an asmodean crystal (which puts him under the jurisdiction of Asmodeus), killed an infestor demon on Earth, presumably there on orders of Leviathan. This is probably the event that will cause the Goetia to take notice of I.M.P.
Ironically some that have not only seen the current episodes but read the fanfic hazbin hotel a journey to the light already sense some big implications are coming.
Not sure if it matters any, but the idea that Infestor Demons like Rolando here may all be designed after what I can only assume to be Moray Eels given the jagged teeth, fin combover, and serpentine facial shape is just REALLY unsettling. I guess in some aspects eels are the snakes of the sea, and we all know about snakes in biblical mythology, so it would make sense for them to take on an eel like appearance.
I loved that Blitzo said "fuck hotels" and Erika Henningsen was Bethany Ghost-effer.
So let me something that I first got when watching this straight :
Demons = pleasure
Ghosts = pain
(Also this is more of a cool fanfiction idea: what if purgatory might be involved with the pain and trauma of ghosts?)

Something I thought about while I was working is that this infestor demon was probably working legally on Earth, killing humans for Leviathan himself. Maybe this is why IMP ends up getting hunted in the trailer.

The infester demon sounds like a Poltergeist. Ghosts are spirits of people who have died but for whatever reason are tied to the Earth and can’t find the ability to cross over. Poltergeists are spirits caused by living energy.

Those Injured Millies in Blitz's Hallucination look like reminders of what could have happened to her in the first 5 Episodes.
Murder Family - Glass In Eye, Bound, Loo Loo Land - Scarred, Hellfire, Spring Broken - Drowned, CHERUB - Holy Arrows, Harvest Moon - Holding Arm, damaged Leg.
And this episode may have given IMP a clashing with Leviathan as I'm betting what the Infestor was doing was part of his assigned work for his Sin, which might lead to that one bit where IMP is being chased by those Hooded Figures.

i think infesters and possessors are different, just on design alone the infester appear to be the shiny silver eel demons, while our only known possessor is half shark but doesn't have any of the eels features, rather she looks more similar to the angler fish demons
In the memory flashes (real) it's meant to LOOK like her eye, so that we make the connection between the memory, and how the hallucination manifested, but it is in fact showing us how he got her pendant. It's the pendant, turned on its side
This episode makes me want to see Leviathan more than ever.

I wonder what would happen if an infestor did or tried the trauma mind trick in a sinner. Would it affect any sinner? Are sinners immune? Would a sinner have to be very messed up in the head or mentally strong to resist the mental control of the infestor? Could the memories be so vile that the infestor himself would just give up and beg to get off the mind he is possessing? How long would an infestor last in the mind of Alastor if they tried the trick? There are so many possibilites, but they might go to waste if more infestors do not appear in Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel.

With how Hazbin has been like with the angels not even knowing what one has to do to get into heaven, it's possible that one doesn't even have to sin to go to hell but just a misconception both sides have. It's possible that in the Helluverse, Hell is actually a purgatory of both good and bad people who have unfinished business intermingled with the naturally born hellspawn.

What if you make a video discussing about possible moxxie having breaking point with Blitzo because blitz has been teasing alot lately and I think the next episode Mastermind where Moxxie says, I fucking hate you so much, Blitz. It sounds like Moxxie sounds tired blitz reckless behavior and teasing him all the time. So it just idea and concept theory that be interested in because I would like to see how moxxie snaps at blitz and learn he doesn't need approval from bltiz to be great assassin also would be a great sign of character development to show what a great character moxxie is.

4:45 he didn't pick up her eye, he picked up her necklace pendant, which seemed important to her and is all he has of her now. In the childhood photo of Blitz and his sister with their mom, she is wearing that same pendant necklace that he picked up and has worn throughout the entire series. Even in the hallucination scene where he catches her eye, he isn't trying to catch it, he lets it roll off his hand while grabbing at her disintegrating form. Poor dude's been through the shitter regardless
In my school vr game Infestors are in the game as part of the ring Levthiathen is in and are part of the Astro Toilet threat (confirmation is there introduction where a mafia mutant Skibidi toilet is held down by a specialist Astro Toilet and a Infestor enters it) and it pretty easy to notice due to the distorted voice and glitched movement (The distorted voice is due to the hosts resistance and 🎉glitched movement is the infestor almost taking control)

The infestor in this episode also looks suspiciously similar to the Von Eldritch's from Hazbin Hotel's pilot (in a picture standing next to Charlie and her family). This could be why he has so many powers as it seems that the higher one is in Hell's caste system, the more powers they have, and the Von Eldritchs seem to be a part of Hell's aristocracy.
I really like this episode could we learned so much more about blitz and Millie. And they get such great character development

I think it’s worth noting that in an interview, Viv said that what gets people into heaven is more subjective. Being religious or free of sin doesn’t necessarily guarantee a person can get into heaven.
4:04 - it’s seriously worth noting that these are all ways Millie could have kicked the bucket (burned alive in demonic fire from Looloo land, shot with angelic arrows during the spat with the cherubs, drowned during spring broken, her arm broken and her leg torn off in one case - all times he and his issues came up and caused her to be in danger.
