Car history. What happened... In Germany: waterpump broke, engine overheated, broke the fan, belts and radiator. 2006 the engine was taken apart in Germany. But it was never fixed. Why? Good question 🙂 2007 car came to Estonia. New owner had big plans but... Car was left untouched for 13 years in the field. I made video about this car and didn't do restorations, new owner did. Retrofitted obc control and newer instrument panel with aluminium rings (old panel showed only outside temperature) 21. New interior trim 22. Front and rear cup holders 23. New clutch silinder 24. Every single detail was washed, polished 25. New fuelpump, fuel filter and the fuel tank was cleaned 26. All new fluids: diff, gearbox, engine oil, power steering oil, new gasoline ofcourse. 27. Both car keys were fixed and learned 28. New spare wheel (there was none) 29. Toolbox was filled (everything- even blue polish clothe) 30. New gearbox cover (there was none) 31. New spark plugs 32. 3 Cyl ignition coil 33. Engine ecm was fixed 34. New floor mats There are more jobs done but don't remember all. Big thanks for new owner for sharing pictures and his hard job. @@vladimircharykov2659 ...back in late 1995/early 1996 when the E39 first came out there was only the e36 3 series and the e38 7 series and of course the ultra rare and expensive low production e31 8 series.... and then came along a good-looking modern e39 5 series which for many was the pick of the bunch !.... The e38 was the mother of the e39 as it came out in mid 1994 replacing the older e32 7 series which was from 1986 ! and the e30 & e34 era. The e38 7 series was the first car in the world to get Sat Nav on the very same 4.3 Philips monitor head unit that was used years later in the e39 5 series.
