Wouldn't recommend using hybrid salt to start a tank. Maybe in a year when nitrates/phosphates are higher. You will bottom out your nutrient levels and probably get dinos and cyano within a few months. Also wouldn't add macro algae to refugium for a few months either. WAY too much nutrient export IMO. I'd wait till at least 10 nitrates and .08 phosphates before thinking about probiotics or algae.

Hi dutch, hoeveel zakken zand gebruik je en voor hoeveel cm zandbodem? Ik krijg binnenkort een rsr425 namelijk.

Yeah I will definitely wait with the fuge until the tank has settled in, don't worry! About the salt, good idea, didn't think about that! Thanks :)
