I haven't used the 8bitdo adapter, but a great feature of the mayflash is that you can use it to connect a ds4 to an Android device and not get the crazy lag that commonly occurs when you try to connect the ds4 directly
Since an XBox controller to use BT Low Energy last year both the 8-bit do and Mayflash NS/NS-Pro stopped working. They have released new models that support BT LE, the "8Bitdo Wireless USB Adapter 2 " and "Mayflash NS 2". Any chance you could do a latency comparison of those two?
You got more lag in wired mode with the Dualshock 4 controller, because the Dualshock 4 works with 1000hz over Bluetooth, but only with 250hz over cable. That's the reason.
The solution to the blinking lights, buy a USB extender ( Looks like a little L) It will let you plug the Mayflash Adapter behind the switch so it does not be a constant annoyance. Electrical tape would work but not optimal for syncing. You could use a USB Extension cord too but the wire could also be annoying. I love the Mayflash adapter it is good for any responsible adult gamers out there, I have had mine for 3 years with no issues with mine. I have the 8bitdo and i NEVER use it, not because of the lag but the lack of third party controller support is horrible and no USB inputs. I say go with Mayflash all the way guys.
I'd recommend using a small usb extension cable (big enough to sit flat on the table that the xbox or playstation is set on, so that there isn't loads of strain on the magic s when there is a usb plugged into the end f it

@@bobdotexe and if you have a modded ps3 like me you can play ps2 games with the mayflash adapter and you can also press the ps button as if it were an actual ps3 controller. If you connect the ps4 controller using bluetooth to the ps3 it won't register 2 inputs at the same time which isn't good for fighting games and you can't press the ps button. The usb I good for anyone looking to play ps2 games on a modded ps3 or if you just want to make your ps4 controller work like an actual ps3 controller instead of that bluetooth or wire stuff
Real quick 2Q 1 can i connect my Bluetooth headset as well as PS4 controller at the same time and what kind of delay would i suffer from that? And if i want to connect 2 controller and 2 headsets??? If you go with rhe 's pro' it will work on both the switch and ps4, and it will support using most controllers from the last few generations on thr ps4 and switch. The 8bitdo doesn't really lag as it uses to. Since there is a option to update your adapter, it will fix bugs like lag.

I've never experienced lag with any ds4 controller on any premium android phone

PS4 and Switch Pro Controller's Wired modes are more laggy actually, it is not a adapter issue.

mayflash is beter since it works with wired and wireless and it syncs easier with ps4 and ps3 controllers..

The may flash can only act as a single controller, so even if you hooked up a usb hub, you could only use one controller

They support the ps3 controllers, yes.
And the mayflash works with the xbox 360 controller.
But neither will work on an xbox 360 console.
