I’ve been hacking for 30 plus years, very seldom breaking 90s. Watched a series of Jerome’s sessions and applied in practice and recently play 2 rounds of golf in the last 2 weeks. 83 and 78. The best golf of my life. It’s finally clicking. Grateful to have received his RUclips channel.
This guys the one, he makes so much since and doesn't over complicate things. You swung as close to a tour pro as I've ever seen in one of your videos with this guys teachings. Keep it up!
If your into improving your swing and golf IQ then this is the Best series on RUclips. The amount of coaches is great. Anyone who disagrees doesn’t understand the golf swing obsession and they’re probably mediocre and stubborn . You get different philosophies and your understanding improves greatly because you don’t have to question “ what one guy/instructor told you “. You can trust the concepts better that we’re touched upon by multiple great coaches. Oh ya “great coaches “. Who else gets to learn from not one but multiple great coaches! Fantastic!
This video definitely helped me a bunch. I took the lessons here and applied them to my range session yesterday and what a difference it made. Keep this stuff coming!
One of my favorite parts of this was when he said that alot people chase perfect positions thinking that is going to magically solve everything. The thruth is you still have to manipulate the club head to get the shot you want. So positions yes but also practice and talent.
Jerome, i was a D1 baseball player. I started golf this year in March, so basically same time as you. I practice twice a week and played over 30 rounds of golf this year. I have yet to break 100. My best round was 103. Youve already BROKEN 90! That’s inspiring and proof to me that what youre doing is having an amazing impact. Keep it up, loving the channel. Your vids also have helped me go from 120+ average score to a 108 average.
Holy crap, dude, when you hit that first ball after the adjustments, the sound alone was insane. Good stuff! I can't wait to hit the range tomorrow with this.
Bro thanks for sharing. You jelly of your access to world class coaching. Like others mention. Stick with Dana. He knows how to generate speed and consistency for all students.
Wow Jerome! Now come teach me how to get my swing to look like that. I just won't be telling you how long I have been playing this game cause it's slightly more than 6.5 months and years. lol
@@JeromeRufin I know right!!! I can feel the blisters from here (Australia) dude lol...found you ages ago while hunting for tips on fixing slices...can't believe you got this good so quick, it's like you've packed 10 years of golfing into 6 months...keep grinding Jerome...loving the journey
What do you know? Seriously do you have any leg to stand on or are you just an armchair type of guy? No hate. I just don’t think what you and others keep saying about too many coaches etc has any value based on the rapid progress we can see in his swing. The kid is doing great.
@@axreacts like I thought just another nobody hating on a guy. Bet you can’t even break 100. Judging by your profile pic I’m guessing you barely make it out of that armchair. In two years he’ll be a better golfer. In two years you’ll be 20 more lbs over weight. 🤷♂️ But hey if criticizing other people makes you feel less worthless you do you
It's brilliant he is getting so much information from the best out there. The issue is how he processes it. Paralysis by analysis might creep in. But if he breaks it down it's the best exposure to learning. They will all teach 90% of the same thing but the last 10% is the individual teacher. I have had lots of golf professionals and when you are not dealing with top level instructors it's a lottery. The vast majority of PGA teachers can play but can't teach, they try but they can't. You need to connect with a the teacher like with any teaching in life.
Brother, you need to look at the ball through finish. The shots that your head stayed down at the ball for milliseconds more have way better contact and trajectory. All your shanks are when you can’t resist the urge to look at the ball right away. Remember, it’s not just your eyes and head, overall balance and weight shift too depends on you looking at the ball all the way through finish.
@@craigg2058 well duh.. study up. Look at slow mo swings of all pros. Their head doesn’t turn until the last moment. Maybe you should work on your flexibility if your body is so stiff that you must turn your head during initial release
@@Kemaple you’re right. If I study the golf swing more I’ll be a certified RUclips instructor like yourself and be able to give tips on peoples channels. Keeping your head down is the worst piece of advice for anyone looking to rotate.

Thank you for putting this series together, it is incredible. All the other YT content is too short and doesn’t explain the root cause of issues.

What a lesson. You straight up looked waaaaaaaaaaaay more powerful over the ball with that swing change. wow. Keep it up.. more of Dana!
Now I see why this guy is one of the best instructors in the country. Blew my mind with a couple of things.

So awesome. I grew up with Dana , it’s amazing to see him being a great golf coach.

What a fantastic lesson. Thank you Jerome for sharing. Learned so much from this one.
Glad to hear!
You are like so good with golf man!!! Thank you for sharing all these valuable lessons.
Man learnt so much! The stop was an aha moment, and the way he explained shallowing was so simple. Thanks for the video!

Dana is the most knowledgeable coach I've worked with. Super cool
Yep. Can't wait for the next Dana video.
No way, Dana is the man!
Fantastic job. You made that look way easier than it is. You have a ton of talent.
Love it Dana is the best
Dana is world class, stick with him if possible. Content would be amazing.
Yup he’s my new swing coach and Rick is going to focus on my mental and performance coach :)
@@JeromeRufin Amazing stuff. I could watch his lesson vids for hours. Share as much as you can with your time with Dana.
This channel is a gem
Amazing. Loved this
Dana Dahlquist! Tour coach. Nice work.
Dana does that rotation move work with driver also
Brooooo, that shallow move was an eye opener.. I always thought shallowness with wrists was wrong.
Wow Jerome! Now come teach me how to get my swing to look like that. I just won't be telling you how long I have been playing this game cause it's slightly more than 6.5 months and years. lol
Hi Jerome you are in a good direction great Coache
Swing looking good, what handicap as of now?
Have you played a round recently to see how the information and help you’re getting is affecting your score?
Eldo with Dana. Big time.
This is great lesson to me
Another great video!
Jus need pete cowan and mike malaska to add and you will be set. Pete cowan is a bit scary though.
🤣so true
That shoulder drop at the start of the downswing ,had made your swimg more less armsy. Looks much better. Great content, congrats.
That’s the plan :) and thanks!
It was only a matter of time before you and Dana got together! Love this!
I can't lose the thought that Jerome is getting a gold swing lesson from Roger Clemens...😅😅
Stick with this guy . To much info can cause system overload. For me! There is more to being a good golfer than good mechanics.
great video
Are you still taking lessons with Morikawa's coach?
Yup! He's shifting to be my performance and mental coach (which is his specialty), and Dana and Rick are going to be my main two coaches!
Your best video!
Great to hear! more amazing content coming your way :)
Another coach! Great for us viewers! But i think bad for jerome 😂
Honestly I’m waiting on Butch, not the sons but the real deal. Butch is absolutely a genius.
Haha let’s make a movement. Tag Butch lol
See 19:14
very cool!
Mike Schy is Bryson’s swing coach
LESSSS GOOOO!!!!
LETS GOOO
I'd stick with Dana if I were you. Swing is starting to look like you know what you are doing.
Yeah Dana is my new swing coach and Rick will be my mental and performance coach!
The backswing piece alone was gold. Zero sway off the ball, changed the whole look at the top.
Idk but I think you should still hold your finish.
That's Chicks dig long ball!
This is money on how to do side bent during down swing.
5000 balls?? is that before the next lesson?? holy crap...thats 50 big buckets...naaahuuuh can't do it bro lol
The grind don’t stop lol

You got way too many coaches too early. You need range and lots and lots of course time. Then slowly add in coaches.
