Same here. In February 2023, I bought a used (only 3 months old) 6900XT for £550. It came with the full two years manufacturer warranty which I registered in my name. RDNA3 has turned out to be a total shit show.
Sold my 3070 for $500 a year ago when the mining thing was still outrageous and bought the 6900xt for the same price! No regrets there it's a beast with a lot more performance than 3070
If I may ask, what’s some other specs on your rig? What kind of CPU do you have? I have a 3070ti, and I was just thinking about getting the 4070 ti but this video makes me want to get the 6900xt, I have an i5 13600 cpu. Do you think the 6900xt pairs with that well? I have DDR4 Ram 32gb, can I keep it? I thought Radeon only ran on DDR5?
@@Alirezarz62k I think DDR5 would be needed if I would get a new motherboard, and at that point, I might as well get a whole new computer anyway. Should I upgrade to a 850w Gold power source though?
@@chalkdemon8019 The recommended PSU for 6900xt is 850w but if you have something like a 750w you'll be fine for the most part anything below that can be risky and I wouldn't recommend. DDR5 only improves the CPU performance and any CPU improvements will correlate to more GPU utilisation and performance but on average you would probably get like 5 more fps in games which is not worth the cost
If it isn't for the not much more efficiency and DLSS3 I'd say this RTX is a huge flop. There must be something else about it. Is your RX watercooled or something? I'm planning to get the same card tomorrow.
@@DatGamerDudeould I ask for a tutorial video of how did you undervolt your card? I'm currently at 1075mV, core 2450-2590MHz, memory 2130MHz fast timing and 15% more power. Why is there like way more frametime spikes and stutter on the 4070 Ti? Are newer nvidia gpu's doing this bad and are that damn unstable? This does not look good, i think i may change myself to red team in the future.
someone in my local market is selling a 6900xt Sapphire Nitro for 700$ Canadian. The catch is it's already been used to game for 2 years. Do you think a card like that would likely have another 5 years of life left in it? Talking durability, not AAA relevance.
I sold my 3080 after 1 month and bought the 6900 From saphire. So much better that card with 16 gb than the 10 gb nvidia shit. The 7000 and 4000 Generation will not be mine and maybe the 8000 or 5000 Series when they arrive in end of 2024 . With fsr 2 in 4K i get enough fps in every game and it looks so great for the value.
4070 ti is 100euro more (atleast here in Europe) and 4gb Vram less.... 6950xt is now cheaper...so I would go for it. Still cheaper than 4070ti and more powerful. If you want for RayTracing go for Nvidia. If you look for a GPU with nice value and performance in longer terms then go for AMD.
@@metehan3795 because of the bandwidth and the VRAM. Go with AMD. I tell you as 4090 owner, trust me! But if I'd buy again I'd buy the RX 7900 XT or XTX

Its nice to own a rx 6900 but the wattage is the big difference imo, while 4070ti is drawing avrg 200 rx 6900 drawing sometimes 300 avrg 280 260. Which in the long term costs more.
@@Marek089123 The wattage was justified as 6900xt being faster across the board, btw 6900xt was released to compete to RTX 3080 with 320 watt. Also, 4070ti is using +250 watt in some games so not pure 200 watt GPU anyway.
