I mean wtf-first Mag never shows up to matches on time ( like ever ) which is beyond rude..
Then he accuses players of cheating.
Then he can’t follow FIDE rules so inexplicably cannot defend his title..
Then he can’t follow simple dress code..
Now he “ shares “ the title.
Look Mag is both the worst and best champion we’ve ever seen.🤢🤮

I have much respect for someone like Vidmar when he does so well even though he has many careers going and isn't focussed on just chess. It means, among other things, that he is curious and thirsty for knowledge without being so vain to tryhard until he becomes the best in one of his professions.

@6:15 "makes Alekhine one of the greatest COUNTER-attackers of all time" The guy was so good at waiting for you to punch, and then ducking and punching back harder. I love looking through Alekhine's games and finding times where his opponent thought they were safe to attack only for Alekhine to turn the table and prove he can out-attack you.

Usually in all the classic or legendary games analysis, they mostly have the bigger better player playing white. A win is a win ofcourse but it sort of creates a skewed pic of their relative ability or disability. Making the other player look more inferior than perhaps they actually were. Good to see a game where the legend is playing with the black pieces.

The worst line that I can see for Black is g3, Nxg3, Pxg3, QxR and White's queen on h1 is unclear but not in immediate danger. You have gained 1 pawn and a rock for a knight. White has a very strong attack on the Queen's side but there is also great danger for White to lose even more material on the King's side.
