    That's just brilliant - always struggled with old skool disgorgers so have just bought a Guru and was looking for some sort of demo online - and here it is! Thanks for taking the time to make this!

    Got one of the Guru 'Slamo' type after watching this video and used it today for the first time. I always struggled with the other types shown but this worked well. I agree, it is much easier. Thanks!

    Thank you for taking the pain on my behalf. I now know what a 'slamo' style disgorger is and, more importantly, how to actually use it!

    Cheers mate. I haven't been fishing long but have caught some decent perch and Bream but having real trouble with deep swallowed hooks in perch especially. This info has been really helpful. I hate keeping fish out of water too long and I have lost one or two small ones cos of deep hooks.
    Thanks mate, well done.

      Yeah me too just started up after 35 yrs inactive but sea hooks are easier being 4/0 and 6/0 rather than the size 16 match hook.... damn even need glasses to see. Bought a guru as I struggled with the basic one but keeping the line tight is key but deep hooks are tricky.

    Обратите внимание как расположены прорези для лески на оранжевом и жёлтом экстрактора х - они с разных сторон . Это значит , что один для правши , а другой для левши.

    You do know it is just better to cut the line and let the fish go. But maybe not.

    • @sitbone3
      @sitbone3 4 года назад +2

      No that will eventually kill the fish.

    • @snausagesmcgee3963
      @snausagesmcgee3963 4 года назад

      @@sitbone3 It's valid advice if you live in the 50's and use iron hooks that will rust away within 2-3 days, but nowadays the stainless steel won't rust out and the fish will eventually starve to death or the hook might make its way deeper over time and kill the fish eventually.
