Love the fact that this guy seems like a true fan, not just an interviewer. He's done his homework, therefore he's not just asking the same basic questions.
I came here to say just this. Very well thought out questions. Knew what he was talking about. Was caught up to speed on recent interviews. So refreshing.
I loved Bobby Sox. I wasn't a fan of Father of All but Saviors is just great Green Day. I was so freaking relieved when I finished the album and I could honestly say that I loved it.
Billie Armstrong has not aged, only changed his hair color. Great interview. Love that they talked about September. I get what Billie said about it, I feel that way October to March.
Since Saviors came out I've been really reflecting on the impact Green Day has had on me. American Idiot is what got me interested in politics back in middle school, and that's what then morphed into my interest in public health and helping professions as a whole. I'm 28 and it's like their music always came to me at the right time. Endlessly grateful that they're still making music and still performing, given all the bands from my teen years who have since broken up. Saviors proved a band can endure this long without making music simply to fight irrelevancy. They aren't afraid to lose audience members who clearly never understood what they've been listening to all these years (e.g., conservatives who somehow only just figured out Green Day's music is political). They're authentic and unapologetic for being celebrities with opinions.
I’m glad they still remember Cigarettes and Valentines and I really hope they decide to do a studio recording of the song and maybe even the whole album as it was intended..
Which Green Day album do you think is better: 'Dookie' or 'American Idiot?'
Both 💯🤟‼️
Between those two, probably Dookie, but Insomniac will always be my favorite. Such an aggressive, unrelenting album.
Both
My fav is Warning
American Idiot for me. I’d go for Nimrod over Dookie

Thank you for the kind words

Haha, those two songs were my instant skips but now I've come around to them. Get stuck in your head a lot, like most Green Day songs
@@jayess8714 I wasn't overly fond of Goodnight Adeline but from the jump I LOVED Bobby Sox. Their new video for that song is pretty cool too,
Interviewer went in for the lost recording. It's been 20 years, took a stab at it see if any knew info would spill out 👍

I saw the Saviors Tour in Phoenix and it was absolutely amazing. Probably the best concert I've ever attended. I'm so glad I decided to go!
Its so awesome that eminem inspired green day for American Idiot. Both of my favorite artists hell yeah.
Brilliant interviewer! Should've let him chat to them for longer!

@@kevankenney422 as a Green Day fan myself, you asked questions that only a fan would ask, Thank You.
Very nice interview
thanks for watching
That was a good interview. Dude just could've asked some questions about Saviors if they, you know, celebratin the release of it.
Thanks for watchin
great questions
Appreciate it 🤘
This guy is asking the real questions
Hard hitters
BILLIE MENTIONED EMINEM OMG YEAAAAAH MY TWO IDOLS CHEERING EACH OTHER 😢❤️
A residency in Dallas is probably the only way I'd be able to see it. 😂
St. Pauli ☠️ ✊
Kevin did a good job, quick, and getting in 'n' out.
Omg do a residency in NYC. Pleeeeease.
Damn... and I still never hear the new songs on 106.7 Kroq. 😢
Nobody stole their album. They weren’t happy with the project and scrapped it for American Idiot.
That true?
Yea
They seemed kinda reluctant when asked about it
Who knows ?
YES COME TO DALLAS TEXAS
Saw them during Jimmy Fallon segment
I’m glad they still remember Cigarettes and Valentines and I really hope they decide to do a studio recording of the song and maybe even the whole album as it was intended..
Wish that Cigarettes and Valentines must be release at the 20th anniversary of American Idiot or in 25th anniversary of Warning .
Megan Rapinoe and Eddie Van Halen duo would be awesome.
who let theo von host?
I actually take that as a huge compliment
Mike dirnt sounds like Hetfield 😅
Audacy music is killing radio and music in general.
Billie, mate you've become a SJW, you became a sell out. I was there at your gigs in the 90s, wow what happened
