artillery was one of the reason that i want to be in a band back in my youngness, i was obssessed with fear of tomorrow, i have 17 back then and now 38, i still get my "fear of tomorrow" and "terror squad" vinyls ....incredible piece of music!
Artillery is such an amazing band and this record I would definitely consider to be a thrash classic but maybe because they were from Denmark instead of San Francisco not that many people are familiar with their greatness.

Another cool Artillery song is 10,000 Devils from their 2009 return album When Death Comes. Earlier I had said that they came back in the late 90s, and they did with their 99 album B.A.C.K., but they didn't put out anything again until 2009.
Artillery has been around a LONG time. They were one of those obscure thrash bands from the 80s. This song being from their 1990 album I believe. But they are a technical thrash band. After the decline of thrash metal in the early 90s, they disappeared, but reformed in the late 90s, and have been putting out new albums every few years since. They have also gone thru a few vocalist changes. The one on this album is long gone. I always thought this one sounded like Bobby 'Blitz' Ellsworth from OverKill.
Great underrated Danish band. If you like this check out their songs By Inheritance, In the Trash, and Back in the Trash. It was definitely about the Ayatollah Khomei who had taken over Iran in 1979 and yeah.. not a nice guy. But the guy he replaced wasn't much better either.

Home from Dream Theater has also some nice oriental influences. This song is like Tool on steroids and its not overreacted like their others. Some Megadeth song as well. Ofc there is Melechesh-Multiple truths for the extreme metal side.
Loved Artillary but they guitar solos was just too simple for my taste. I was really into FORBIDDEN when this album came out T- I hope one day you get to Forbidden - “Forbidden Evil” or “Twisted into Form” album
