YES!!!! After 62 years, it is time for Gorgo to return! I saw the original movie back in 1961! Still have the original 'tie-in' comic from Charlton Comics that sold for ten cents at the same theater (so the comic is 62 years old as well)! I own copies of the film on BluRay and two DVDs and have the Monarch model released several years ago, but this new incarnation looks absolutely awesome!
Aw hell yeah, the Kaiju had so much personality in this short(which was an issue I had with Soul War). I can’t wait to see where this glorious company goes next.

Man, Gorgo mom in the Gorgo comic was so strong. Rarge at planetary with FTL+ speed, cause hes fighting alien with planet busting weapons. Gorgo mom can one shot the first Gojira from the 90s.
Hello, did you know that Gorgo is in a public state, just not the version from the film, but the one from the comic book, which was the first appearance of Gorgo, because it came out a year earlier than the film itself. But in fact, the comic book itself did not renew the copyright and no longer claimed it, and therefore the version of Gorgo from the comic book and local monsters became public domain.
Read the Gorgo comics by Key Comics (or is it Dell Comics?) alongside the Konga comics. They even did a crossover that was sort of their attempt at King Kong vs Godzilla. They are lots of fun to read now and again.
Thinking on this, I feel like they could do Gorgo for the monsterverse pretty easily. Have her be one of the Titans Monarch had in containment on a remote island off Ireland, she escapes during the events of King of the Monsters, and has managed to evade capture or detection in the Hollow Earth. Not sure if they should have her go up against another monster, most certainly not Kong or Godzilla, but one of the new original Titans that we didn’t get much screen time for in previous films would be a good fit.
Definitely want the 13- nch replica when its ready to be released! I love the articulated version already! The larger replica looks incredibly awesome!!!! When can I order?
Hey Titanic Creations, what do you think you will do when (or if) you get the rights to Godzilla, and also have you ever thought of crossing Gorgo over with your original kaiju?
The original movie is pretty famous among Monster flicks wherein here, the Kaiju aren't just the protagonists, but they survive and win. We may chortle now, considering Japan would popularise the idea of a heroic/anti-heroic monster, but Gorgo was what secretly laid the foundation for stuff like Gamera, Mothra and Godzilla's depictions as a good guy. I unfortunately haven't seen much monster films and tokusatsu outside of watching stuff like the Gamera trilogy and King Kong down the road (I would watch Kamen Rider, but the only place in the UK you could watch it officially is Pluto TV due to Shout Factory's lack of international home media distribution and they got rid of it apparently, making me crave an Arrow Video release for KR The First and The Next), but even I can respect a secret trailblazer like Gorgo and his Mother.
