Gotta love how the Wizzle's latest henchman just lounges so casually on the super-important equipment. Ol' Wizzle (I ain't calling this schmuck "Wizard") used to get furious if you touched his stuff.
I can't...the electrocution and then Jimmy immediately and easily finding out Bruce is Batman is just embarrassment galore. How did anyone watch this with a straight face?
GearGades It’s not even the Batmobile - that doesn’t exist, yet - it’s *Bruce* *Wayne’s* *car* . Vicki even asks at one point (I forget which part of the serial it was) if Bruce knows that Batman’s driving around in his car. 🤦🏻♂️

Elafi Milo Coincidence. Got me curious to look it up and according to Wikipedia, Arkham didn't come around until 1974. (Not going to lie, I'm stunned it was that recent)

The Napoleon Dynamite reference was great. Although, Napoleon Dynamite is way cooler than Robin. Had better moves too. 😂 I was so happy to see a new one of these. I love the little intermission/jokes in between too.
lol, very cool. I remember them... Are they still playing that show anywhere? Isn't it with the 3 dudes in the theater making comments while they watch hilarious movie flops? i don't remember the exact quote but the rifftrax guys making the joke about the office door leading directly outside all of a sudden. how much did you have to stretch to try to make jokes for this one? it was in an office in an office building. how many offices have doors that lead directly outside? so how would you get outside? should they have jumped out the window? said it inmy other comment, but i'll repeat, by far the weakest effort by rifftrax i've ever seen.
Interesting take, your opinion is welcomed. I thought it was pretty good overall, and they had a lot of episodes to do, but there have been many times where it seemed that the writing was a bit lacking, and I always assume that it's because Mike didn't write for it, which is perfectly fine as we can't expect him to write for all of the hundreds of possible content they've done thus far.
I love the 40's serials, they were meant for young kids, I think many people here don't realize. they were campy and ridiculous, but they were just meant for entertainment. the style and quality of the acting and stories and directing leave it wide open for the comedy of Riff trax which just makes me wonder why they failed so hard. this is by far the worst job I've ever seen from rifftrax.
This movie would suck if it wasn't for Gabe. He saves this picture.
Gabe is the *best!*
This serial won a special Oscar in 1946 for 'Best Horse Art in a Motion Picture'.
It's funny how none of the criminals in this serial fear The Batman. Well, of course they shouldn't.
Cuz honestly, look at him!
The antenna-esque ears are reeeaaally not intimidating. 😆

“Yeah, he’s no Gabe but he’s good.”
One of the doors in that building leads from a storage room to a episode of batman TAS!
Nothing like a rolled up newspaper for knocking out a grown man...
Times were different back then. It was considered bad form to not offer a lift to costumed hitch-hikers.
so nobody else realizes, that Batman was a celebrity in Gotham City? the driver of the car would know who Batman and Robin are.
@@steveswangler6373 How does he know it’s the real Batman & Robin? Seriously, almost anyone could pass for this version.

the 40s were weird. not as weird as the 50s or 60s but pretty weird.
Don't forget parking the Bat-mobile in front of the Wayne house, not to mention Batman and Robin going in and out in their costumes constantly.

12:21 actually a good special effect for the time.
So, who's more popular: Gabe? Or...LEMBECK?
Depends on which one stays around longer.
They're both good, but neither of them can kick it into KLINE OVERDRIVE!

I think Lakopolous could take them all.
Cuz he’s unscropulous.
I'm going to go with MITCHELL
Toblerone is staying in the Bronx for another few days!
"Poor toonces" (as the car went off the cliff). Just spit coffee all over myself :D :D :D LMAO !!!!!
4:37 Toonces, NOOOO!!
“Gabe!”
Screw Batman and Robin. I want a Gabe and Neil serial.
That Markham Building joke was actually pretty funny. But was Arkham Asylum a thing in Batman comics yet or was that a coincidence?

That stoner guy carrying his pet chicken might be the coolest 5 second or less random character ever.
His movies may be better, but he's no Gabe.
Why are the riffers so incredulous at the mention of a criminal named Jason? They have heard of Friday the 13th, right?
That Jason trancends mere criminality lol
What's that reference at 2:20? I've tried every spelling I could think up and still can't find it.
A basketball player who was infamous for flopping (Manu Ginobili of the Spurs).
