I'm pleased to be back with even more Halloween music, in fact a whole EP of it! "Scarlet Vow" tells the story of a village girl who escaped a sentence to be burned at the stake, only to return to that town the very next October to pass a judgement of her own.

That first one sounds like it could be a quote from something like Bloodborne or Blasphemous or something honestly.
Honestly I love those lines so much, though maybe not for the reasons the majority do since I'm kinda a social outcast- partly because I'm trans and raised by not the most accepting christians ^^'

This song has had some of the hardest lines I’ve ever heard Unironically.
Dude this song is BASED AF. Been listening to it over and over so much that Ive gotten inspired to make homebrew DnD campaign based on this songs story for private games with some friends. It would be nice to have a strong horror campaign for once. God I love October, and it's still September. Next month can't come fast enough.
In just under 6 minutes, Aviators manages to show what most authors would take at least 80,000 words to describe.
to be fair it's not the same format, if you take the text of a music to sell it as a novel people are going to clown on you, and it's possible to write it in less words if you make it a poem so that ain't really the praise you meant it to be (I'm not saying Aviators ain't amazing for the story telling of his music tho)

Anyone can create a song, but only a few can create a good song. And fewer yet can combine a good song with compelling narrative. Kudos

I'm reminded of "I'm The Righteous Hand Of god (Hell's Coming With Me)" by Poor Man's Poison. Especially since they include the line 'they have a black magic preacher, you'd do well to let him teach her' and I can't find any other reference to a 'her' in that song.
I like to headcanon that they're the same town, and the two scorned people came back to burn it down together. (of course, this song seems twice as good - love this band!!)

While the skeletons held me down I could only watch as more and more of my village brethren got dragged into the church and held in seats, one skeleton, ghoul or some other forsaken devil at their sides holding them with an iron grip. Some cried, some struggled, some cursed and the rest prayed, but everyone came to silence as She got into the pulpit.
