Nothing in this world replaces the beautiful perfume of unspent fuel classic cars like this produce. It's absolutely euphoric

This would really be a nice car if whoever did the resto did thier homework. To start it's missing the rear "Yenko" & "427" emblems, Yenko didn't have the bowtie in the front or rear, If I'm not mistaken all big block Camaros, factory or COPO, had the Harrison curved neck 4 core radiator, it's missing the solenoid and wiring for the cowl hood flapper, the shifter had the black Hurst ball, a factory transverse "Deep Tone" exhaust and they had Stewart Warner Greenline gauges. Oh and they rode on Goodyear Polyglas F70-15 white letter tires. Other than that it's nice

@port nut Well I spotted it right away. As I said all high HP big block '69 Camaros, the 396/375 and factory COPO both iron block and ZL1, had the curved neck 4 core radiator. Anyone who knows their Camaros would spot that easy. Plus there's so many little things that are missing, at least 3 Yenko related emblems, Yenko decals, Yenko specific gauges and so on. I saw a '69 Yenko tribute, black as well none made by Yenko, RS that had all the goodies plus a chambered exhaust, Goodyear tires and houndstooth interior for only $10,000 more. Nothing to do with it but drive.

Built back when gas was high octane and low cost. Big blocks, nothing like the torque they produce. And the sound with that thump... too sweet.

I owned a 1969 Yenko Camaro for many years and did extensive research on these cars. 1969 Yenko Camaro's didn't come with consoles, or power steering and none of these cars were black. The grille also did not have the Chevrolet bowtie emblem. All 1969 Yenko Camaro's were special order COPO 9561 cars and were meant for drag racing, so anything that added weight, like a console or power steering is not what anyone would want in a drag race car. The VIN# of all the 1969 Yenko Camaro's was made public, I surmise to discourage fakes.

Not much said about the car itself. Most likely not a real Yenko 427 Copo car. Don Yenko did not have to convert these from L78s. They were ordered by him through the central office with the L72s installed.

Here's a tip. Build your own at the fraction of that price. I saw a '65 Chevy Biscayne with the drag pack option (425hp 396 and 4 speed) for $75K. I built a 550hp 454 with a Richmond 6 speed for $20K.

No it's not, it is a tribute car. Yenko didn't make any '69 Camaros in black, if I remember correctly. This is a nice car but needs about $3,000 to make it a real tribute. It's missing emblems, incorrect radiator and gauges among other things. I recenlty saw another tribute in black, but an RS with all the correct emblems, Houndstooth interior, factory chambered exhaust and Goodyears for around $79,000.

It's a tribute car. Alot of things are incorrect which proves it is not a true Yenko. It would be easy to determine by VIN numbers. That said it is a really nice car. Not sure it is worth anywhere close to the asking price of nearly 70K.
