Awesome, Never knew about this one... Looks like a combo between Planet Crafter and Satisfactory, and would be cool if we had some Subnautica vibes thrown in somewhere. I've truly fallen in love with Base Building Survival games since Subnautica. It's pretty much the only type of game I search for these days.
I remember the location! I think there's a cobalt deposit straight inland from the copper miner. remember the belts snagging in the cave. I like how the pipes and belts animate when you place them! Basalt is used in groundwork construction and cobbles for roads? I could watch an hour of your progress!

Been playing the demo now the update but because my pc is under powered and that makes SPOLILER WARNING (kind of) flying the ship to island two is very difficult I am building a bridge instead. The main section is done (foot traffic in the middle (so you can breathe) either side I’m hoping is wide enough for the vehicle. A lot of asphalt still to lay and also most of the support pillars and cables

Well, in real life basalt is used to make concrete, ceramic tiles, decorative stone sculptures, thermal insulating tiles, and if you melt it and draw it into various shapes you can make a substance that is similar to carbon fiber but STRONGER. That is popular in wind turbine manufacturing and similar applications, apparently.
You get food out of the ship to start with and later you make food packs out of biomass. I believe you right click on it in your inventory. Thanks for watching.
Most of the way through your vid. There’s a better starting area. Follow the coast around in the direction of your green house. It has nodes for most resources. miners only work on nodes (your about to go look at basalt (which I’ve not encountered as been playing pre this update).
Have they said what the purpose of the wave is? Does it destroy the base or anything or sort? I see that you deconstruct wind turbines when it happens but I was wondering why. My question is mostly regarding what we know of the future of the game, not necessarily the current build. Thanks!
You are trying to make the planet habitable for human settlement so the wave would be a problem. As for the future, I am not sure. We will have to wait and see.
11:45, U don't have to take resources from structures, they are automatically transferred to Your inventory... ...only except for belts, from them U get nothing...
i make habital building by the plane and close to the hill , so if i need oxygene i have a place to go. the habital building is cheap to build. just for oxygene

I'm really curious how to get the energy or electricity into the machines, they refuse to work for me and I don't know how to put electricity into it
I believe that power is wireless. As long as you are producing, your machines should be getting it.
If you don't want the Wave to come in early game, Press T and type this command /v 999999 then the wave will disappear.
Thanks. I am going to accept the annoyance of getting hit by the wave so it will be more rewarding when I stop it.
Is there a way to undo this? Maybe once we have more stuff built we can turn it back on for the fun of it.
@@djnohands3632 no idea. The number is the distance so you can reduce that number maybe.

Not sure if it continued in to this but in the demo all of the large deposits were in a small clump so you had all of your resources close by.
There is a place on top of the mountain where the resources are really close together but getting water up there is a pain.
5:58 you need to put the small miner on a rock deposit. It doesn't work on bare ground anymore.

I was able to mine rocks using an Advanced Miner on a Large Rock Deposit. I just saw you found that out.. Lol

you can no longer mine the ground for rock. you use the first simple miner on a rock deposit. there is a few around starting area I believe.

how do you move your base? or something you have placed down?
You need to break it down and rebuild it. There is no option to move items but you do get your resources back when you dismantle something.
