Hi, thanks for your feedback. You can DIY paint to better hide it. Some other models have a black version, such as the Argus PT, and the KEEN Ranger PT has camouflage skin.
Hi, thanks for your question. It will use data when you remotely check the live view and playback, it sends you motion alerts, or it upload videos to the cloud.
Can I connect another Reolink wifi camera to this main with Sim? so to have 2 cameras in two different rooms, on a single wifi network? Otherways I sould pay to Sim monthly, that is not a good idea.
I am afraid not. The camera could only support SIM card. If you have further issue, please do not hesitate to contact Reolink support: support@reolink.com. Thanks.
Here is the SIM card compatible with our 4G cameras: support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000622106-Which-is-the-Suggested-SIM-Card-Provider-in-My-Region.
Ok, I managed it to work, but it needs wifi and my phone needs wifi, only then I can whatch it live. And you were not mentioning it cannot be charged while minus temperature, it is big problem. I think i will remove battery and wire it permanently to electricity. So if you claim it will work ''anywhere'' it will not.
Hi, May I know if your camera is Go PT Plus? If yes, it will require a SIM card but not wifi. For other issues, please feel free to contact Reolink support at support@reolink.com for a further check, thank you.
So basically, if you have Verizon, one of the top two providers in the US, you can’t use this camera?? That seems hard to believe. They are the only provider in our area.
GO PT PLUS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH VERIZON… I spent 2 hours on the phone today attempting to add two REOLINK GO PT Plus cameras to my Verizon account. The IMEI numbers on the cameras would not be accepted on line with Verizon and I got the error message to contact customer support. Customer support told me Verizon would not support these cameras on their wireless network and told me to try two different cameras the names for which the Verizon tech provided. If you want to use your Verizon account to manage these cameras, look for another camera!!
NO VOICE PROMPT "Network Connection Succeeded". I can view live video using the EIOT SIM card I installed but this camera WILL NOT DETECT MOVEMENT. Why am I Not hearing "NETWORK CONNECTION SUCCEEDED"? I have one other Reolink Go PT on an EIOT SIM card that is working and 5 more Reolink cameras on AT&T that are working FLAWLESSLY. This new purchase from Amazon is probably going to be returned.
it doesnt work if signal is weak, it doesnt even connect at all. i have signal on my phone, but camera doesnt work. please do not sell items that claims it dont need wifi because it needs it to work, or strong signal. camera works in the city, doesnt work in field, country. i would send it back to you if you pay me back. battery drains 10x faster than claimed. it is another chinese scam.

Can I hook this camera to Wi-Fi instead of using a Sd card.
Hi John, Reolink Go PT Plus does not support WiFi connection.
But if you don't want to store videos in a SD card, you can use Reolink Cloud storage.
My one won’t flash blue at all and I’ve the nano sim inserted correctly
You skipped over the biggest step. Where does the sim card come from. You should explain the details

Can Reolink Go PT work standing on the table? Does the Reolink app have flip mode for the camera?
If it stands on the table, then the lens is reversed.
And Reolink app does not have the flip mode of the camera.

Can I add an external antenna to increase 4G signal strength?
Hello Jean, thanks for your question. This camera comes with an antenna, but it doesn't have a second antenna port for an extra antenna.
So basically, if you have Verizon, one of the top two providers in the US, you can’t use this camera?? That seems hard to believe. They are the only provider in our area.
Hi Tracy, this camera also works with Verizon (tested by other users) though we recommend T-Mobile, Mint, and Freedom.
