Hell yeah, smooth. Just be careful if you ever drop in on a really steep kinda poorly made ramp. You need to stomp a little more or accept a little bit of a drop before your wheels are going to touch the concrete.

Ah, I'll keep that in mind and try it out if I run into one of those ramps :-O Also, based on vert drop in tutorials, I understand that I need to crouch much more before actually dropping in, almost getting the butt down to the board kind of... Focusing on going more straight down than "leaning forward"
Thank you so much After watching so much videos this is the first time I hear of the butt between legs theory and it makes sense

Yeah, try it and see if it works for you as well. Start by trying it on a bank and see how it feels. I got the concept of keeping your butt centered between your feet mainly from J.B. over at the SkatePark Lessons channel, but I don't think he mentioned it in regards to drop ins specifically. Mitchie at the SkateIQ channel often talks about "being centered" / "staying over the board" / etc in many of his videos as well, but for other tricks than dropping in. Maybe because dropping in is "too simple" for them to talk about? :-D After hearing them talk about it a lot, I finally thought: "Maybe it will work for drop ins as well?"

Awesome video man!
Took me 10 seconds otherwise I woulda hit the ground.
Looks smooth & comfortable👏 next step would be focus on maximizing speed.
What a snoozefest
