@@radstuffphotovideo Livid Vulva? Seriously though, I love my X100S, until I can justify a 'better' camera this thing is going nowhere. It does everything I want it to.
For sure! It definitely surpassed all of my expectations. Things like it’s low light performance shouldn’t be anywhere near as good as it is - it’s a little ripper. Thanks mate, appreciate you checking it out 🤙
Nice, fantastic choice of camera 🔥 definitely a great camera to develop skills with too, I imagine the fixed focal length will be an awesome way to learn about composition in particular. Enjoy it!
2023, I purchased one too. Shortly after a RX100M3. And .also bought a 5dmk2 for my 35mm 2.0. Now I have 3 brilliant street cameras and no idea what to keep. Actually leaning towards the RX100M3, although I can always put them all into one XE2, or Xpro1, or XT2, or A6000, or, orr.....waaahhhhh Maybe, just maybe, it will be the X100S. Because you start fondling it, shhoting your plants with it, wanting to go on a walk with it.....
Thanks for this video! I'm getting .I've this Thursday. Did you shoot these in jpeg or raw and did you use any film simulations? If so would you like to share
No problem, thanks for checking it out 🤙 nice, I hope you enjoy the camera when it arrives! If I remember correctly it was a mixture of both, some were just straight out using the Velvia simulation and there are some where I fiddled with a few raw files too. Hope that helps 🤙
@@radstuffphotovideo Thank you. But i saw in an other video that the x100t is the first version with film simulations, do they mean the ones you can change and add yourself?
Great video! I was thinking the same just yesterday... carrying my XT4 during sundays with my friend is just too much, so I'm thinking on getting the X100V or anything from this lineup
Thanks Alessio! Ah nice, sounds like a good plan. I chose the x100s as I think it was the cheapest option in the x100 lineup with the film simulations if I remember correctly and as it’s just for personal use I don’t mind taking the hit on image quality etc. The x100V would be absolute goals! It looks like an amazing camera. Good luck with your decision ☺️
Thanks! 🤙 A mixture of both in this video if I remember correctly. Outdoors the simulations look pretty much bang on straight out of camera it tends to be in lower light or indoors that I tend to tweak them slightly but as the film simulations do such a good job I'm only really exaggerating what is already there. Hope that makes sense 😂 thanks for checking out the video!
If photography and videography is your job I take it that you're only ditching your "pro" gear when out and about shooting for yourself. I also have the X100S. Bought it used in slightly rough cosmetic condition around 2014 and will probably never sell it. Focusing is a little slow and the various controls aren't as good as the later ones, but image quality with that lens and sensor combination is stellar.
Indeed it does my dude! Haven’t had a play with the video mode yet but it’s funny you should say that though as I’ve recently purchased something that ticks the old school video box 😂 gonna be taking it for a spin in a few weeks hopefully🤞 cheers for checking out the video mate, hope you’re all good 🤙
Excellent , thank you for sharing . Their nice cameras , but their really over priced for what they are , their a nice retro design & Fujifilm do have the built in film simulations , but that can be applied to any camera on post photoshop , for camera size & quality , Fujifilm/ iphone , Android , in all fairness fuji looks like fun , but sadly not £500 worth of fun , well not for me anyway .
Hey thanks for checking out the video! Yeah the price hikes these days are a bit of a downer on these aren’t they. I picked mine up for like £200 if I remember correctly back in the day so I’d say that still falls into the into the fun purchase category but totally agree once you hit the £500 mark it’s a different ball game entirely isn’t it. I’d love to dial in a film sim on a x100v or similar and take editing out of the equation completely but just can’t bring myself to drop £1.5k on one
@@radstuffphotovideo Thank you for your reply . Absolutely the X100V ,it's a lot of money , one can buy the retro looking Nikon Zfc Mirrorless or the Nikon DF 16 , though it's a tank of a camera. The smaller pocket retro looking digital camera is somewhat camera jewellery to a certain extent , I even looked at the Olympus OM-D series, again silly money & I don't think their too reliable hence there's faulty ones on Ebay , as in loads . I'm pleased that you had your Fujifilm for £200 , well done , wishing you many happy years of photography with the Fujifilm & a merry Christmas.
Anyone able to tell me how to pronounce the word “Viveria” then? 👀😂
U mean Velvia/Vivid i think =)
@@geburahsilberwolf7683 thank you kindly! ☺️🤙

If you are familiar with the book, "Walden", Thoreau would be proud as his mantra was "simplify, simplify, simplify." Well done! Bruce and Otis
I wasn’t but it’s on kindle for £1.65 so I’ve added it to the list, sounds like an interesting read 👌 thanks! Hope you’re both all good ☺️

That is why i Got myself the X100T ! But still thinking of also using it sometime for Pro stuff. It is more then Good 👍🏼
