I loved that video where he went nuts on the leg press, Lee's rep range is 800-1200 and he does 5 sets :D

This I believe. 1017. No surprise. All the best to everyone. Always have time for Lee. Especially when he speaks his mind on current events. Be kind. Always. Out lies and evil. Always. And yes. Lee was the first ripped mass monster. Ever. “…. and that used to kill me.” Indeed. “30 minutes to do it.” Thinking on how many of us are going to try to see what we can do. Enjoy the process.

We all love a bit of Lee but it's gotten to the point where people don't pull him when he bullshits. Like with his gear usage and 500lb leg presses for over 1k reps.
    Please.

He said it took him 30 minutes. He obviously did it in many, many, many rest pause sets.
You've never done that before? Rest pause with a moderate weight for a 1-200 rep set? They call it one set with rest pause reps, but realistically it's many sets with small rests.
It does literally become a mind over matter thing, where you can just switch into a zone and keep going. Add juice onto that and you're recovering enough to keep going to 1000 with the right amount of willpower.

@@Deusaga I have done rest pause but not for a 200 rep set. That is also silly and would actually prove worthless. Please see literature on muscle growth/relative rep schemes.
Also, comparing a 1-200 rest pause is the polar opposite to over 1k reps. With 500lbs on a leg press. The rep scheme, the weight used and also the muscles trained for this type of fantasy is totally ridiculous.
Get your head out of your own (and lee's) arse.

@@ryansmith7987 You should get your head out of your little bubble that you convince yourself is reality.
500lbs on leg press is easy peasy weight for juiced up golden era bodybuilders. Someone who can only squat 110kg because of my scoliosis, with legs that aren't much to be celebrated, I can do 500lb leg press for reps. And my legs are meh. Leg press is easy mode. So for a bodybuilder like Lee with the limb proportions that are highly efficient and effective for both squats and leg presses, 500lbs is nothing to Lee. But granted, Lee wasn't 100% certain on the number. It could have been less.
I have personally done moderate weight incline dumbbell presses (25kg, when 40kg is my heavy) for rest pause sets of 200 reps over the years. So I know it simply becomes a mind over matter issue when the weight is not too heavy. The little rest in between is certainly enough to push those high reps.
Especially for roided freaks, the roids substantially improves recovery between sets.
But you know what. I'll leave it at that because I know you'll stay in your little bubble of disbelief.

@@Deusaga I'm not going to read an essay from someone who is clearly clueless about training.
The takeaway facts you need to learn: 500lb leg presses for a 1000 rep rest pause set is not 'easy peasy weight' for anyone in the entire damned world. Stop comparing yourself, you sound ridiculous. You seem to be focusing on the weight rather than the ludicrous number of reps that by your own admission he could have counted wrong lol.
