As a lioness, how did Hathor not detect the alcohol's scent in the "blood" poured on the fields to trap her? Felines has strong senses of smell. Unless her bloodlust overwhelmed her senses?

It’s a good point. She is described as being in a ‘blood frenzy’, her lust for blood, her fangs, and her immortality have often compared her to vampires 🧛

I'm assuming that it was the bloodlust. She went into such a frenzy she could have killed everyone in Egypt without even realizing what she was doing.

Also, not all big cats have an aversion to fermentation scents. Some lions seem to like the scent of beer. Something about the hops.

Dude, Hathor is Ra's daughter, mother and wife at the same time, and she is also married to her great-grand nephew Horus. Mythology is usually weird and not meant to make any sense.

I never realized Hathor and Sekhmet were one and the same. I need to learn more about her. She seems so fascinating and a joy to be around. (Maybe not in her Sekhmet form)
I was more aware of Bastet as a love goddess.
I do find love goddesses fascinating. Just learned about Parvati, Lada, and now Hathor.
One of the main villians for the Skullgirls games is Eliza. An Egyptian beauty who has Sekhmet burst out of her as her special ability. Im assuming shes based on Hathor. Although, she is more evil than benevolent in the games.
Wait, what about her genitals was so funny?
    It's not the reaction I think I would have.😉

I’m still trying to get a more definitive distinction, but Bastet was more the side of love that was alluring, who used spells to make men fall in love. Where Hathor was more about the pleasure, so I think more the physical part. But it becomes vague probably because each region of Egypt added something to her lore depending on what they needed from this all mighty deity.
      Cool, will look up Skullgirls.
She must have had a funny fanny.

Hathor is Ra's daughter, wife and mother at the same time to symbolize death and rebirth. Haha talk about weird. And Hathor is married to her great-grand nephew Horus. Uhhhh it's getting very weird here indeed xD
