In all the years and research I’ve done in my curiosity to know more about Quetzalcoatl I honestly have to say that this is one of the best well put stories and videos I’ve ever seen. All the other ones left things with mystery and this one tells the story so well as completely as possible. Very amazing and wonderfully done!
Quetzalcoatl has appeared in video games,he was a thunder based summon monster in Final Fantasy 8,and he was a god that could be in your party in a Shin Megami Tensei game, only in human form.
Thank you for this video. From my experience Quezocoatl is the part of something really profound that happened really far far far long, long, long ago. It is like the pebble dropped into the water surface. It creates ripples, waves. Quzocoatl is one of this ripples. Another is Jesus. But there are many, many more. Thats why it is so similar. Thats legacy of heart, legacy of sacrifice oneself for the good of all. Thats love so profound that shakes the reality itself. It has such a strong magnitude that it inspire others(like Aztecs) to copycat this with sacrificing the others. But thats mockery of it. Yes, still it is really strong, but also toxic. Eventually killing the perpetuator and his society, legacy. This ritual cannot be forced by ones will and want. It is originated from one´s heart. To love so much that there is a will to do the unthinkable and with that, renew the world.
0:50 It seems that the Toltec, Aztec, Maya, Inca came much later in time. The people who built those pyramids and temples were the Olmec and their leader Quetzalcoatl. It seems that they were not from the human lineage at all. They came from the cousin of the Velociraptor about 100 million years ago and evolved into green reptilian humanoids who were much more evolved than modern day humans and way more intelligent that's why they were able to construct such advanced architecture. Quetzalcoatl might have been the very first of them to develop shapeshifting abilities. He was a good person and deeply compassionate and he used his abilities for helping the world and all beings. He was strongly opposed to animal sacrifice and human sacrifice. Quetzalcoatl taught love and compassion.
@THE-X-Force It was “interesting” 😂 They did everything they could to shock the viewer. It was basically a 50’s monster flick (like clash of the titans), but based in the 80s where there’s more gore and nudity. I was surprised by the cast, and you don’t always see Shaft being eaten by a monster 😂
There is NOTHING on TV that can compare to this kind of content! But how about those names though right!?! Quetzalcoatl Capzeecoatl Mooblybooblycoatl Mapzeecoatl Koatalcon!... Okay okay I get it I get it, I can't SAY or SPELL ANY OF THESE NAMES! LMFAO 😆 But it's still such a breath takingly beautiful culture though isn't it! WoW 😲 Well done guyz, well done! 🇺🇸😎👍
Great video, only wish you had shown FF8 when talking about the summon as he's not a summon in the og FF7 or remake but I'm just a huge nerd lol. Love your stuff!
Well done! Minor spelling error 1:13, (priest is misspelled as preist). While I'm not a fan of the edits as I prefer your more serious take. I do appreciate you trying new things! I look forward to seeing what you cover next! First came across Quetzalcoatl as a summon in Final Fantasy 8, right around the time I got to go to Mexico and see a bunch of temples and ball courts. He has been in my life for quite a long time.
Ahh, rookie error with Priest! Noted, I was 50/50 about the edits. For some reason it works better with Greek and Norse mythology, but as you say, maybe not best here.
@MystOfMythology hey, we all make mistakes. Even Quetzalcoatl. We just have to learn from them. I just find, for me, it's a weird juxtaposition to have a serious and deep voiced narrative with mixed comedic editing. Its like listening to a professor with your best friend sitting beside you making jokes lol But I'm still going to watch, regardless of what you put on the screen.
@@nemesisofeden 😂 Well, thank you. There's a British show called 'Little Britain' - Highly offensive and weird - but the narrator sounds similar, and he makes jokes that sound out of place. But... let me leave the comedy to the comedians 😂
This sounds a lot like the story of Ausar BKA Osiris 😢 but the Navajo tradition says something about people who came pretending to be God's and demanded to be worshiped and a war between them took place
23:54 This could be a metaphor event which represents ETs coming to help him. Together with the ETs they created hybrids with his DNA, with the humanoid DNA from the bones and with ET DNA spliced together and then inserted into a cygote and implanted into wombs possibly ET women's wombs or eggs. This must have taken a long time at least 20 years for the new generation of hybrids to become adults. I don't think he cut off his penis. This seems to be more like an added shock value that was given to the story later on. He certainly gave some of his blood so that they could use his DNA.
Very interesting Stephanie, the Quetzalcoatl was specifically defined as a "dragon" but more of a feathered serpent, but this probably aligns to your view of them not being friendly. Thanks for watching.
Hey Mira, Ai is used to make part of the video - but not entirely - the research, script, image editing, animation, sound effects and music are all done by hand (me 😊). If there wasn't something you liked or didn't like, happy to hear the feedback.
Are you not entertained?! There is no half hour show on TV as good as this. You never disappoint! Thank you for the great ride Mr. Myst ..☮
Wow. High praise! Thank you my friend, glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you so much! I'm so happy that I've made the story more accessible.
@@MystOfMythologyyou know what god this is right ?
Story of a true hero at all levels.
Ce Acatl: ~Kills himself to prevent his people from being scattered across South America~
Tezcatelepoca: ~Scatters his people anyway~
Quetzalcoatl: 😐
18:27 The orb animation was soo good! 👍 Can see you getting better with every video. Amazing! Thank you @MystofMythology
Thank you 🙏 Yes, trying a few new things. Lots more little edits coming up.
Just finished watching in entirety.
From the artwork to the narration just Wonderful.
Shared on my Facebook as well.
Happy Saturday everyone!
Much appreciated!

Wow. There are so many modern versions I hadn’t noticed before.
Rayquaza from Pokémon Emerald version 🐉🍃

An absolute pleasure Sara. Thanks for watching and the comment!
Such a great content. I like to see how well you are playing the RUclips game without losing in information, precision and rigor. Thank you.
Glad you enjoy it!
Well Done!
Thank you again for all your hard work.
Always a pleasure, John.

Negative, they had help from the aliens. Similar story to Osiris
@@nickbgreat Yes Quetzalcoatle was an ET.
Great content👍, where did you learn about this stuff?
Well…
Started watching cartoons, then movies, then looking it up online, then books about it and now everywhere that I can 😅
And thank you 🙏
Another amazing video!
Thank you!
you earned a sub love mythology and folklore so thank you for doing 2 subjects i love
Welcome to the community, appreciate you being here Connor 🙌
@@MystOfMythology glad to be here
I wish a movie accurately depicting his life gets created. I'm sure Hollywood hasn't made a remake of the 1982 movie *Q: The Winged Serpent* 😅
Haven’t seen it, is it any good?
I’m 6 minutes in and it’s shocking 😮
@@MystOfMythology Don't leave us hanging .. how was it?!

@@MystOfMythology Ha! Thank you for the review! I have to check this out now, though I've definitely seen a shaft devoured by a monster before.
Another mythical figure that inspired my writing. And this one's for some of my more recent projects. Unpublished as well. 🐍
This sounds like a remix of Jesus from The New Testament.
There are parallels in the events.

Sometimes i wonder if the dinosaurs were feathered? Maybe in brilliant colors

You’re talking to a guy who spends his life reading about stories from dead people. Nerd? You’re in good company. 🤓

No, Set did that.
Egyptian Scholars have lively debates if it was a crab or fish that ate it.
Looking like those Skeksies in the Sumerian cuneiform tablets…
This story makes complete sense after you realize the brothers are from Sumeria. Enlil and Enki.
he's a dinosaur or primal mind
it’s like a Mesoamerican Jesus
Not the first to say that. 🤔
4:41 whats up with their faces on the left? lol. 🫤 scary!
Lol, they're not that bad are they?
Tlaloc, the rain god.
He did Returned and he came back a catholic warrior call Hernan Cortez
If there's Aztec mythology
Enki?
So he was placed in the river to die, but was saved? Sound familiar? (Moses)
🫢
More like Jesus. Iykyk
Beyblade?
😂😂
👍
Dragons are real and they aren’t our friends fyi they are not gods deity yes worthy of worship and adoration definitely not
