@@ivangenov6782 that’s honestly the most interesting part to me. I always like it when stories follow two corrupt sides (regardless of whether they’re equally corrupt or not) and our protagonists are trying their best to do good without actively opposing both sides.
I can’t help but wonder if Trepan’s incomplete attempted alterations to Megatron’s psyche created the lapses in logic that lead him to dismiss his more moral ideals in favor of the “peace through tyranny” mindset
There is multiple factors for Megatron's tipping point . 1. Unjust Arrest and victim of police brutality . 2. Getting Mind R*ped by Trepan and absence of Terminus who comforts him . 3. Arrested unjustly and knocked unconscious by a Senate Guard . 4. His friend Impactor being arrested and prolonged exposure to violence and bloodshed in the gladiatorial pit . My theory is that the Mnemosurgery as shown in the video made him emotionally unstable and also the trauma inflicted by Trepan never got healed even after four million years the thought of needles poking into his brain terrifies him . I also think that due to being born as constructed cold it may result in lack of empathy as the constructed cold Cybertronians do some spot some psychological troubles such as lack of empathy and deep rooted anti social behaviour .

Trepan was working as a mnemosurgeon under Zeta Prime and his job was brainwashing Autobots that doubted Zeta Prime and Decepticons. Trepan was gonna brainwash Soundwave then Overlord and Starscream came to rescue Soundwave. Overlord kidnapped Trepan to learn mnemosurgeon skill from him in order to defeat Megatron. Megatron found out and killed Trepan.
I love how we get a reason why Megatron was so afraid when Chromedome when he attempted to give him Mnemosurgery. Also just imagine what Megatron did to Trepan later down the line
The echos and audio layering. Even the use of iconic g1 background music and wispy wintery wind. Great perfomances from everyone including guest David Kaye.

And for those of you wondering about Froid's echo, it was intentional and a bit of an homage to G1 Insecticon Shrapnel - we made Froid's echo similar to a 'Freudian Slip" of sorts. #Froid :p

David Kaye never fails to give a really good performance. :) Also LOVED Chris McFeely as Megatron. Sounds a lot like Corey Burton as Megatron in Animated. :D

Yeah if tfp optimus and tfp ratchet heared and saw what trepan did, he would no doubt be dead. Tfp optimus I can see carrying out a scared, tramatased and emotionally dreinded megatronus, op would try to comfort and sooth him.
Awesome! I did recognize the Star Trek sounds, that made me smile. This was so so high quality, I loved every second of it. Even though Trepan creeps the heck out of me.

It's a major part of why Megatron fought against the planet's leaders. Also, Trepan was happy to help Megatron turn Overlord into the invincible monster he was.
Whatever happened to Trepan in the end of IDW, is he alive or dead? If he's dead then how was he killed, that's what I'm wondering about it. The fate of Trepan was unknown only to me, I must know what happened to him, please. 🤔😕

I know this commentary ofmine should be very unpolite, but I wished that it was Elita-1, Arcee, Galvatron, Shockwave, Starscream or even Prowl; the ones that should be suffering the Mneurosurgery of personality adjustment!!!
Since you mentioned Arcee, I sometimes imagine Chromedome doing that thing he did to Prowl but even worse as retribution for her bloodlust. Then Galvatron, then Shockwave, then Starscream.

Trepan's mentioned Megatron's "anarchic thoughts"... anarchy and tyranny aren't exactly the same thing, so I think it actually is Trepan's fault
